Do you like the Nintendo 64? Do you like to play Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on the Switch? Then get excited for this week's spirit event that combines the two.
This N64 themed event (starting this Friday) features spirits from the same generation of Nintendo gaming. As you can see above, there's the cast of Donkey Kong 64, multiple characters from Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, and even a reminder of Treasure's superb shooter, Sin and Punishment.
If you win a battle, you'll earn 6.4 times more experience than you normally would. Will you relive Nintendo's glorious 64-bit generation in this week's Smash Bros. event? Do you think this is perhaps a sign of things to come? Let us know down below.

Sadly none of these games are on Switch aside from the uncommon release from non-Nintendo companies.

Nice event! Hope Nintendo does more with the N64 in the near future. It was my introduction to gaming so it means a lot to me

Was kind of hoping for a tournament instead.
Seeing that blue N64 controller makes me hope for different coloured pro controllers. I know there's been a couple of special edition ones but I'd like more choice of colours.
Is there a way to know when those other rotating spirits, er... rotate? I've got every obtainable spirits except for one or two entire series at the bottom that apparently are made avaible through cycles? I learned of this when all of a sudden my spirit board was flooded with Kunio-kun and Astral Chain that I had never seen before

No Clubhouse Games Spirits? Bet that hints at a Clubhouse rep coming later in the second Fighters Pass. My guess is that it's either shogi piece or mahjong tile, but bowling ball or hanafuda card might be good picks as well
in the cover image, what games are those two chicks from at the top directly in the middle? one is pink with a yellow jetpack? and the other is blue with a grey jetpack?
