I love Star Fox. It's tough to please all its fans though, because a lot of people want a back to 64 style, back to basics, arcadey type game and others, like me want to see something more akin to Star Fox Assault with the varied gameplay, more story and better multiplayer. I think the only way Nintendo could please everyone is by having an 'Arcade Mode' and 'Story Mode' similarly to a lot of fighting games. Arcade for the original fans and Story for the 2000s games fans

@moodycat What was wrong with Samus Returns in your opinion? I've completed Super and Fusion and thought Returns was great

@Dethmunk I picked Starlink up and had a blast with it. Still need to go back to it actually. Would still be nice to have some of the lesser played Star Fox games available on modern platforms

Thanks for updating the article. Really looks like slim pickings now. Would like to see a revamped Star Fox Zero. Of course a new game would be better or even remasters of Assault or Adventures, but any Star Fox content on Switch is good

@Clyde_Radcliffe Worms WMD is great and was really fun online back when I got it a couple years ago. Hope the online is still good, but can't confirm

Brilliant E3 Direct. The Metroid Dread, Wario Ware and Advance Wars announcements got me really excited. Wasn't interested in playing Shin Megami Tensei, but after that Direct I am! My only negative is I was hoping the Mario Party boards would be added to Super Mario Party, but on the bright side I never played the N64 Mario Party games so its 100 new mini games to me and 5 new boards so will likely pick that game up as well, great E3

@RhiannonRune My thoughts exactly. I really wanted this to be DLC, but it definitely makes more sense this way. Only thing is now if I want to play this online with my brother and his fiance we need two copies of the game between us and this could end up much more expensive than of these mini games and boards with DLC

Glad more people will be able to play this now. Strange seeing it coming to PlayStation and Xbox though, I wonder if that means Koei Tecmo are publishing it themselves this time

Great choice of character! Looks like he's been implemented really well too. Hope he comes with a lot of music

So glad to hear that the Castlevania anime will continue even as a separate series! @BispoSnake Maybe Alucard will make an appearance. My Castlvania knowledge isn't the greatest, but I'm sure Richter and Alucard are in at least one of the games together

NEO The World Ends With You is the only one on here I'm getting no matter what. Want to try the Ninja Gaiden Collection and Ys IX too though if I get the time and the Switch versions are good

+100 games is great. The issue is how long it's taken to get there. Eventually these will all go offline so I'd hope they pick up the pace or give us the option to purchase individual favourites like previous consoles

The Legends box art is gorgeous. Surprising it's out so soon after the remakes, hope Gamefreak give it all the attention it needs, can't wait to play it

@Ghost_of_Hasashi A Star Ocean physical release would be great! I think it would actually be the first Nintendo physical release of a Star Ocean game outside of Japan

Ouch, that doesn't look like a strong debut for Famicom Detective Club. Was hoping it would do well in Japan

@iuli I think you meant to say it's almost out of top ten after two weeks, not one. It's done well, everyone knows it's a spin off and wouldn't stay in the charts forever

Damn. Nintendo really need to get the actual games on Switch one of these days. Maiden of Black Water was great

Like others have said here I love this game, but £30 is a bit steep if its not a had much improvements beyond wide-screen support. Still tempting though honestly

No sign of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX is a shame. I realise it came out just before the last fiscal year started, but does look like it's just dropped off. Was my first proper experience with the series and was hoping to see them remake the sequels next

I don't feel bad for not supporting the game at launch now. Really enjoyed the original so I'll definitely pick it up at some point when I'm not trying to save up as much. Bravely Default II wasn't a huge seller as far as I can tell so glad I did my bit there

For some reason when I was very little I thought it would be a good idea to draw Nintendo characters on the inside of N64 boxes and cut them out. Was going through the family's N64 collection years later as an adult, wondering where the boxes were and then found all the cut out characters with Mario Kart 64, Ocarina of Time etc on the back of them. Painful!

Nice! My partner and I will definitely have to try the online modes out with my brother and his partner soon. Just hope they add a couple more boards to celebrate, would gladly pay for them

Absolutely still worth having a Wii U. The article lists most of the reasons, but beyond those there's the Star Fox games, the best version of Rayman Legends and not to mention GBA/DS games playable on a TV

Same month as Neo The World Ends With You? Ouch. Am still looking forward to this, but it might end up in the backlog for a while if I do pick it up near launch

I'm already sold on Neo The World Ends With You, but hope it shows up at their E3 to give the series a bit more exposure. Anything Star Ocean related would be awesome too, especially if its also Switch related

It's a shame he's left, I enjoyed reading the full article. I hope one day the rest of the Star Fox games make it over to the Switch so newer generations can enjoy them. Scary to think Adventures and Assault have never been released on any system since the Gamecube

That's a great deal for Star Ocean! Would really recommend to anyone who likes to pick and choose who they recruit in their RPGs. Would pick that up if I hadn't already. Also coming from a Star Ocean guy, it's nice to see the series described as one of Square Enix's 'heavy hitters' here, but I'm not sure that's true anymore sadly

To anyone talking about the graphics, remember this is a very inexpensive game on other platforms. Will likely be much cheaper than Fast Racing RMX

720p still looks great on a screen that size. Would rather that extra power went on improving frame rates anyway. That's even if this new Switch is real, it wasn't when it was 'leaked' last year or the year before

I know at least 1 person who would love this, but they're not interested in this remaster at full price. I'm also happy with the Wii version for now, but I'm hoping Nintendo will wow us with more new features

Wanted to pick this up, but didn't because the price seemed a bit high for a 360 game at a higher resolution. Unaware if much was added to this version, but I'd like to play Vesperia someday

That's great! I remember playing this briefly on a friend's Xbox back when it came out. Would check it out, although Bounty Hunter is the one I'd love to see come back. BH is playable on PS4, but it's based on the slightly inferior PS2 version

That's a relief. He was the only one to stay the last time the Sonic cast changed around Sonic Colours, to think he's survived another cast change. Feel kinda bad for the other VAs though

This should be good. Would be even better if Veronica Taylor was also involved though seeing as she has such a history voicing for Nintendo series. She went from voicing Ash Ketchum in Pokémon to voicing Manuela in FE Three Houses and Micaiah in FE Heroes

Nice surprise seeing Fire Emblem Heroes getting an article here. Another thing in the Gatekeeper's favour is he isn't in the game yet, whereas we have multiple Marths and Chroms so I think a lot of people wanted something fresh. Most my votes were Tellius characters so I didn't really have a horse in this race

Will definitely pick up Banjo. And maybe Byleth too since Three Houses is so great

Sephiroth is such a big character in gaming, our first Smash DLC villain too, never thought we'd see someone else from FF. Completely surprised by this

Nice, really enjoyed the first game on DS back in the day and recently picked up the sequel on the Wii for a couple quid
