it's a single player game. I've already forked out $$ for a switch 2, but you want me to pay THIS much just to replay the game in 4K.

could really not give a *****. pointless party games like this belong in Mario party, not a single player platformer. at the very least offer the resolution upgrade for free for single player fans.

laughable. I gave up and got a steam deck with emu deck.

absolutely nothing there for me. until we get a new 3d Zelda or Mario, there is nothing for me.

no interest in multiplayer or assist modes. hope there is some decent content for the single players, else not paying for this stuff.

enjoyed this on PS5... if you have played expedition 33 recently, or are a grown up, be ready for tens of hours of awful dialogue and grunting / thirsting teenagers haha

I love my switch 2 as a bit of kit, but 95% of play is docked, using a pro controller. I really was quite disappointed with the new Mario Kart and DK Bananza... hindsight is 20/20 but I'd be very happy with my old switch in the dock now, the only games I have played and really enjoyed on it have been indies that run fine on switch 1... still waiting on that 3D Mario/Zelda...

yes - pricing is a joke. within 2 hours I'd beaten all ridge racer had to offer. appalling value and so overpriced for a ROM dump

As a huge BOTW fan, I was interested in Age of Calamity, but it just looked laughable compared to BOTW, hundreds and hundreds of Rito, for example, where there are like 30 in existence in BOTW. It just doesn't seem like the same world at all.

I have a real soft spot for this game - played a bunch during lockdown!! Will happily spend £4 for the S2 upgrade and go back to my island to do some long overdue weeding!!

I adore Banjo, but this is a pass. 30fps and £50 on Switch 2, more expensive than the 60fps PS5 version? Nope. May pick it up on PS5 on sale, but Galaxy 1 and 2 for me instead.

Yes, got both digitally (and the metal posters, which look great), as these are two of my favourite games. Very excited to play through them both again. Absolutely worth the price, for me.

I suppose I just remember when I had my PS2, things like Taito Legends included 30 or more arcade games, so a tad surprised nobody has any gripes about this Neo Geo collection being spread out like this! And now Taito do their Legends packs which are by comparison an absolute rip off. The way things are these days I guess...

Amazing people goggle up these lazy ROM collections and never once mention the price. Galaxy 1 & 2 remastered is a rip off, but these are fine?? Weird.

zero interest. didn't mind the main game, but still baffled as to why everybody praises it to the extent that they do. It's fine, but not close to a main 3D Mario, IMO. Already overpriced for the amount of gameplay it gave me, no way am I throwing good money after bad for something that should have been either free or £7-8 max...

I own all the consoles, so no bias here, but god of war gave a free rogue like mode better than this for free. astro bot, as somebody above mentioned, gave countless (bigger and better) updates than this for free. Nintendo can do one.

@NintendoWife yep, just noticed that so cancelled my normal pre-order and went with the digital pre order that includes the metal posters! have to have them, galaxy my fave games!!!

@Polvasti that seems to be the case yes, certainly based on released information to date, as they have not mentioned 3D all stars getting any sort of patch.

Not going to wade into the price argument, except to say that it's almost £7 for a pint in my local these days, so £58 for 2 of my favourite games of all time (40 years of gaming) available in 4k is totally worth it FOR ME. Have pre-ordered both digitally. Will then have no use for 3D all stars, as I was never a big fan of 64 or sunshine.

Can not wait to replay these two again, not played them since my Wii U...

Nope. Not interested, and coming out so soon after the game stings a little... Didn't love the game as much as most seemed to, solid 7-8/10, so no interest in paying more for a few hours.

bought all stars digital just for galaxy 1. will now buy galaxy 1 and 2 digital as its only way to get galaxy 1 at 4k on switch 2. don't care it's expensive, they are my fave games.

Just to be clear I understand. If you buy this new collection, or Galaxy 1 or 2 individually, there is a Switch 2 patch to run at 4K on TV. As per the Nintendo website.

There is no Switch 2 patch for Mario All Stars, so the ONLY way to play Galaxy 1 at 4k is to buy it AGAIN here?

Or have I got that wrong? Slimy if true...

Would love Mario galaxy 2 in some format, a new 3d Mario, a GOOD new Mario sports title, a Wii sports follow up, F zero, some remastered Zelda games and a new 3d Mario.

@B3RTAY horses for courses mate. I've been gaming for over 40 years, and DK bananza was just mid. No challenge, and so one dimensional. 7/10 tops.

MK World a huge disappointment for me, and whilst I finished DK Bonanza, I just don't understand the high praise. 7/10 game.

No Zelda. No 3D Mario... it'll collect dust now until a first party banger releases. No interest in playing 3rd party games that run better on my PS5 or XSX.

Never, as a grown up, ordered any Lego. Been a bit tempted by a few over the years, but this one looks so good, not too big so easy to display somewhere, and not hundreds of pounds either. ordered!!!

my switch 2 already gathering dust, now Mario kart world has been blitzed, so hoping some big 1st party announcements. still not sure DK is for me

I left the game on attract mode the other day to hear a bunch of the tunes... and every few minutes it switches from open world to a race. and it's ALWAYS a 24 player, 3 LAP RACE. It rubs salt into the wounds.

happy they're finally taking on newer arcade games, at long last. no interest in this one though.

the price for a rom dump is still laughably high for me, but if any of the sega games of the era get ported then I'll bite!!

thanks for highlighting this saves me wasting money on another half assed Nintendo emulation attempt. should have learnt my lesson after how utterly unplayable Mario golf (N64) was on my Wii.
