Amazon won't let me order the north american version (I'm UK based). very annoying, looks like Europe based Sega fans have no hope

never played a JRPG, they look so utter bewildering, confusing, and after watching that review i still have zero idea how the game works or what on earth is going on! must be getting old...
would like to give it a try but i'm still at a loss to what the game actually involves!

i've not played before today, been looking forward to this a lot. hopefully performance improves!! i'm pretty terrible at it, but it's so far fun not mega frustrating... that may change.

and fast, if i can't play it!

EDIT - won't even get to title screen now. says my connection is down yet i'm typing this. giving up till the weekend.

servers clearly down. played at lunch, had 12 games and was in within 30 seconds most times. the cursor is now stuck on the options menu, can't start any games. shame, as i enjoyed it earlier.

wish they had given wonderboy this much care haha

i have sonic 1 and 2 on sega ages, and mega drive mini, but never played 3, knuckles or cd, so looking forward to this. i only had the first sonic on my mega drive as a kid, so playing sonic 2 on sega ages has been fun

still think it's criminal you have to pay for online to access any of this! buying the game should be enough... but playing online offline (if that makes sense) limits you to 2 items per week. not right.

@kobashi100 old gamecube controllers with adaptor by all account are recognised by the software, but i'm not buying both those things to play the game properly!

still no analog triggers no? GRID autosport unplayable without those, wasted my money on that game!!

i just hope they add 100 pin bowling and baseball!

@Dimey had a mate round this eve... bowling still works. badminton a LOT of fun

couldn't resist popping to argos to get this at lunch. only played bowling so far. gutted there is no 100 pin mode as that is what my friends and i played to death, but the new mode with the obstacles is a worthy replacement.
sadly, it just doesn't feel like you're as involved in throwing the ball, it feels a little simplified, dumbed down even (which was my complaint against the new mario golf game VS golf on the N64)... but it'll still cause the same fights and showing off after the pub that it always did

i still bring out the wii u for 100 pin bowling when i have a few friends over. this doesn't have 100 pin bowling on it. no sale. simple as that.

Does bowling have 100 pin mode? And is joycon drift a gamebreaker or not too important?

good god Sega, no. I'm not buying these games AGAIN. I got twice as many games for half the price in the PS2 collection. And yet i still paid for the SEGA AGES versions too. No more. Release something else FFS...

Has NL played this via Switch? If so, if there any input lag please? Not mentioned in the review at all.. ta

i'd be eternally grateful if somebody familiar with the N64 game can play this and report back on latency? the Wii VC version of this game had bad input lag and that ruined the 3 click for me...

I hope this version is OK, would love to play this again, and with polished up graphics too!

I was late to this game, and am finally coming to the end of my manic OCD first playthrough, have tried to finish utterly everything and now have 900 koroks, etc etc. 385 hours (not been rushing!). Debating master mode now we have another year to wait...

as somebody with bad OCD (struggling with the botw korok madness) folders has helped my mental state with 'backlog'

AT LAST! I love this game, played it so much on the N64.

However, when i got it for Wii via the VC, there was noticeable input lag, which utterly killed it for me. Made the 3 click mechanic awful, and as an N64 golf veteran, unplayable. Fingers crossed this version is lag free.

Can somebody please post when they get this, as this is the game that'll make me take the expansion pass plunge!!

unless i've missed it, i don't understand why you can't select any 4 tracks you want (or more / less) for local multiplayer races, instead of being stuck to the pre-defined cups. I want to be able to race all my favourite tracks in multiplayer, not have to sit through a couple of annoying tracks to get to a great one!

it's great we're getting all these DLC tracks, but a shame i can't , for e.g. recreate a cup of just N64 tracks.

hopefully joycon drift doesn't impact ability to play this, i'm not keen on having to buy 2 new joycons just to play this (use a pro controller normally)...

also, no 100 pin bowling, no purchase!

@Twonips push '+' on the home screen for mario kart and manually download the update via internet. It won't do it for you.

Already purchased, and a quick 50cc familiarisation run through before work this morning

Coconut Mall and Ninja Hideout the standouts. Graphically, there are some pretty bland tracks compared to the main game, but after 8 years (WiiU owner before Switch), it's just nice having a reason to play the game again!

Not too excited about potentially a large chunk of the 48 tracks being Tour ports, but let's see...

@HamatoYoshi no worries - was an instand download for me, Amiga memories! I forget the name but there is a puzzle game on arcade archives from Taoplan also, that includes the same characters, enemies, etc, and is not bad!

Super Pang is the one I dearly want, but another that has been ruined by being modernised (i.e. ruined and made to look like a mobile game!!)

i LOVE this game, but hope you can still play it in original form, as the 'reimagined' Wonderboy (another fave) looked like a crap mobile phone game and ruined it for me...

I didn't have a gamecube, but yes, this game just seems harder to control than it should be.

thing is, with the switch controller it's very hard to move in a dead straight line (even walking left to right in animal crossing), so i can imagine using a geted controller where you can lock the analog stick straight, etc, would be a huge help.

it's a shame, as presentation is good and there are lots of levels, but it's just too hard to move in a straight line (narrow passageways are ridiculous)

I'm back playing BoTW this weekend - another 720 korok seeds still to get, and a dozen or so side quests. But all shrines, DLC, etc, done

oh god i hope so, MK8 is amazing, but I've been playing it for 7 or 8 years, utterly bored with it

i sure hope so but doubt it, Nintendo seem very slow these days at releasing NEW (not ported) Mario and Zelda stuff!

good news, i think, though i'm sure my Sega Astro City was cheaper from amazon Japan than the eventual western release!!

love the original due to quartet, wonderboy, in particular, and lots of the others. no nostalgia for me with these shooters, and have 5 or 6 of the titles on it already.
still hoping they release some sort of boy/gadget with all their killer driving games on it. would pay silly money for sega rally games, outrun games, scud race, daytona games, etc, all on 1 machine!!

haha, YES!! my mum still has nightmares over the soundtrack to the N64 version that I played non-stop back in the 90's
I picked up both the neogeo versions available on arcade archives, will 100% be getting this!
