So, we've reached the end of yet another hectic week full of sneaky, surprise Nintendo Directs and a whole bunch of people who have been angrily slating Animal Crossing. Thankfully, then, it's finally time to have a quick rest.
Members of Team Nintendo Life have shared their gaming plans for the weekend below, and we'd love for you to join in via our poll and comment sections. Enjoy!

This weekend I’ll be attending the grand opening of my Animal Crossing island’s very own museum. I know, I’m lagging way behind with my progress but it’s hard when you spend your entire play time refilling all the holes your kids have dug everywhere while you weren’t looking.
I’ve also jumped on the Panzer Dragoon: Remake, which I’m not 100% sold on just yet, and the amazing Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, which is the best Star Wars game in my opinion, here’s hoping this is a solid port. There’s also that Bravely Default 2 demo to take a look at…luckily we’ve all got quite a lot of spare time on our hands right now. I hope everyone is keeping safe, staying inside and doing ok. Have a good weekend!

This weekend I'll be playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and if my experience with the game over the past few days is anything to go by, it looks like I might be playing it for the rest of time, too.
This is my first time really getting stuck into an Animal Crossing game and I'm absolutely in love with it. I've been making sure to squeeze an hour or two out of each day to play it and am really enjoying that unexplainable, happy feeling it gives you. I never thought I'd really 'get' Animal Crossing, but I've been proven entirely wrong.

This week I took delivery of a beautiful custom backlit Game Boy from Gameboy Shack, a specialist UK-based retailer that we spoke to last year when the Game Boy turned 30. Having unwrapped the console, I promptly plundered its innards and transplanted them into my original DMG-01 case to create the dream machine I've always wanted with a brand new, spotless glass screen and a couple of new replacement buttons. I had been prepared to add the backlight myself - it seems simple enough with the right tools - but I opted to save time and do it this way instead. Having a duplicate system means that I also have the unit’s ‘stock’ components which I put back in the custom case, meaning I've got a second Game Boy for hot multiplayer action.
So, this weekend I’d like nothing more than to sit down with a collection of classics and drain a bunch of AAs! I won’t, though. Those bugs and fish aren’t going to catch themselves, you know.

Like most people, I'll of course be spending some time on my very own Overlook Island (how very apt in this period of isolation.. if you know, you know) in Animal Crossing: New Horizons! I've just unlocked Nook's Cranny, and I'm currently laying out plots for 3 new residents, so I'm very excited to see what, and indeed who, the weekend brings.
I'm also getting to grips with the newly released Good Job! and finding it to be an absolute joy so far. I need a bit more time with it, but be sure to check out my review very shortly!

I've got a lot of - you guessed it - Animal Crossing: New Horizons to play this weekend. I believe I've directly convinced at least 8 people now to purchase the game, who otherwise wouldn't have, and they have each convinced others to as well. So not only do we have a lot of social distance-playing to do together, but I'm also determined to get terraforming and waterscaping unlocked this weekend. I know what you're thinking: 'Austin, that's not even cool, everyone's already unlocked that and you're so lame and far behind, you're supposed to be the Animal Crossing Guru!'. YES, and as such, I also take my time and enjoy my Animal Crossing games at a slower pace in order to make that joy last as long as possible. So leave me alone! I'm going back to my island now.
Gonçalo Lopes, contributing writer
While the entire staff (and indeed the world) surrenders to the OCD nightmare Animal Crossing: New Horizons, I continue to shift around specialized squads of mecha in SD Gundam G Generation Cross Rays. However, all weekend plans were given a large boost by a certain (not-so) mini Nintendo Direct. After a large exchange of coin at the eShop this weekend, things will be brightened with Panzer Dragoon, Shinsekai, Hyperspace Delivery Service, Chaos Code, Dogurai and a beautiful Bravely Default II demo.
My game of the week is the stellar Good Job!, an alarmingly close approximation of my professional life turned into a video game.
As always, thanks for reading! Make sure to leave a vote in the poll above and a comment below with your gaming choices over the next few days...

Remember me and brütal legend both on ps3.
Also minecraft on switch.
A little late to the party but recently got smash bros so will be playing the mess out of that.
Animal Crossing, Fire Emblem, and Ring Fit Adventure.
Still need to go back to finishing my first route in Maitetsu: Pure Station, if I can ever put Animal Crossing down. Also getting my butt kicked by One Step From Eden.
This weekend plans include the usual Asphalt 9 daily tasks, Mario Kart 8, and the trial of Arms. On the PC side, I plan to play Theme Hospital, Crysis, and Steam is having a free weekend for Cities Skylines, so I get to try it out.
Going to try and play these. Hope everyone has fun gaming, and stay safe this weekend.
I've taken a boat to this island and there seems to be a lot to do. I'm playing Black Flag. ☠️
Stil have to finish Zelda botw, alien isolation, xenoblade, octopath. But i think with this stupid virus it wouldnt be a problem
I honestly didn't even know it was the weekend. After 3 weeks indoors, every day feels the same.
I'll be getting stuck into Doom 64,superb game. I'm up to level 17 and man is it difficult, ridiculously so. That said, if I'd paid attention to the stage title, 'Watch Your Step' then I would have surely realised that the reason I'm being overwhelmed with demons is because I am not watching my step. I did actually make it to the end of the stage but with a slither of health and even less ammo. I'm going to replay it and this time, I'm going to watch my step.
Will be swapping between Link’s Awakening and Velocity 2X, after a bit of gardening. Now at level 42 and it’s getting tougher achieving those gold medals to finish the game. Never been a fan of AC but all the buzz and how well it’s done is seriously making me consider buying it.
Animal Crossing, the BDII demo, Horizon Chase Turbo, Final Fantasy VIII, Planescape Torment, perhaps something more.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons - Just relaxing. Doing some random tasks.
Ring Fit Adventure - Picked this up today while doing groceries. I've been interested ever since it was first teased but finally pulled the trigger now that they've added the rhythm mode.
Bravely Default II Demo - Only dabbled in this one on Thursday so now's the time to fully experience it. Looking forward to the full game.
Pokémon Shuffle - Two UX stages left to beat and S rank. Whiscash has an absurd amount of HP. I may need to grind a bit and train some Pokémon to make sure I get an S rank on my first try.
Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth - Finished Spirit of Justice couple of weeks ago and completed Murder by Number last week so now it's time to return to this one. It's been years since I played Investigations but it's the last localized Ace Attorney game I haven't finished so I think it's time to do something about it.
If I can pry myself off of AC, maybe I will get DQXI
The usual doses of Xenoblade 2 and Fire Emblem (New Mystery) as well as more Spirit of Justice. But I've also found myself making noticeable progress in Worse Than Death (indie horrors on Switch do tend to lure me in like that) and might even finish the playthrough soon. And there's also been Hero Express this week - another small but not unexpectedly fun game with the vehicular physics challenge balanced (but never cancelled) by the steadily earned upgrades.
My journey through XC3D, meanwhile, seems to be officially over, although I'm not sure if I'll delete it right away - the collection mode (even if I haven't used it much) is still exclusive to the version, and I've never been starving for space on 3DS anyway. Still grateful to all the time I've spent therein, and if you have neither Wii [U] nor Switch, it's one of THE Games you can ever find in the platform's library. The scale, amount and synergy of content is practically nonpareil.
pokemon sw/sh doubles, trying to reach master ball... i am pretty new to pokemon online battling but it’s slowly clicking in and i have much much fun!
Last weekend I happened to finish Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack and Old Man's Journey. I got both on massive sales within the last couple months, and I knew they wouldn't take long to knock out. I liked the gameplay of Mutant Blobs Attack, even though it didnt do anything super original. It could have used a little more variety than switching between a few gameplay types over and over. You can really tell its Drinkbox's first game. Old Man's Journey had serviceable gameplay, but its emotional story was the thing that kept me moving forward. It only lasted an hour and a half, but then again, I only paid around $1.50 for it on sale, so the value checks out. I certainly wouldn't have bought it for full price, but it was enjoyable enough.
Since then, I've been playing Flipping Death. I'm on the 6th out of 8 chapters, and using possessed characters to problem solve is really fun and original. The only thing I hate is the save system, since you can only save at the beginning of each chapter, which isnt very digestible. When i start a new chapter, i need to plan ahead so i can have the time to do it all in one go.
I also hope to finish Knights and Bikes this weekend, and to pick Fire Emblem 3 Houses back up when i finish Flipping Death.
I feel like I'm in the final stretch of SMT IV, so will definitely finish that up, then some Blinx on Xbox One, and will finally start playing Mario Odyssey.
Animal Crossing, Super Mario Maker 2 and maybe some PC games.
Resi 4. Didn't need it, have the Wii version on WiiU. Buyer's remorse. Still one of my all time favourites, but could have spent the money on something new instead.
Animal Crossing naturally, though that's only a half hour a day thing.
Slay the Spire - still getting to grips with the Watcher.
I’m telling myself I’ll play a game from my backlog so I’ve decided to start with Transistor, Child of Light, or maybe SOuth Park Stick of Truth..
I’ll also continue Life is Strange 2 on Xbox.
Stay safe everyone!
This weekend it is:
1. Dishonored 1 on PS4.
2. Divinity Original Sin 2 on Switch.
3. Heroes of Might and Magic 7 on PC.
After finishing bayonetta 1 a 2 am wanting another fix of over the top action so have gone to the awesome devil may cry 5.only at mission 3 but wow.
This week I will be mostly playing
Final Fantasy 7
(and a small bit of Pokémon Diamond/Platinum)
I will mostly be playing Bravely Default 2 demo and perhaps a little bit of Zelda BotW.
I'm going to try out ARMS. It's always been on my radar but I never got round to it, this is my excuse. I'm also going to download and try this Bravely Default 2 demo out. Seeing as I'm on lockdown I can see my Switch getting more of a workout than normal...
I also still have tons to do in World of Light, but because I'm a new Smash player I find the difficulty has ramped up too quickly. I also still have Luigi's Mansion 3 to get through! And I said I would try to finish games before moving on to the next one...
I just bought Bloodstained and will be playing that a bit.
Ring Fit Adventure, of course. I try to play almost every day now.
Other than that, we'll see if I can even get to the Switch. Both my kids are home again and it's quite possible they'll be monopolizing "my" Switch.
Returning to XC2, new game plus. Bravely Default II demo, Tetris 99, Doom 64 and Far Cry New Dawn on ps4.
Also want to try overcooked with my wife.
I'll be playing Panzer Dragoon Remake. Multiple times. Because it's that good.
DQ Builders 2 on Switch and Overwatch on pc.
Is it me or bravely default 2 demo enemies are hard to defeat.. maybe i need to grind more with the less one! Still i do find a tough one along with the weak one's. Oh! Well nice game as always.
Doom 64, Animal Crossing NH, Super Mario Maker 2, and Golf Story! Possibly trying Trials of Mana, and Bravely Default II demos.
I have seen conflicting things about ac which confuse me. Some people say they can’t tear themselves away which to me suggests they play for 8 hours at least at a time. Is there enough game to fill those 8 hours in one session without doing the same things over and over?? Others say they play for an hour each day which makes more sense, if you enjoy the game that is! Anyway I will be playing a level of Mario world a day until complete, a dungeon of link to the past and maybe a few hours of majoras mask. Xxxxxxxxx take care everyone x x s x x x x
I will try to finally get the platinum for the original Kingdom Hearts, but I might also some more Dark Souls Remastered. And I will likely give Arms a shot now when it’s free.
I got back to The Messenger and I've been playing the hell out of it. The amount of content this game has is ridiculous! One the best things that came out in the recent years.
Then:
Spyro Remastered Trilogy
Ducktales Remastered
Shantae Half-Genie Hero
Tomb Raider Definitive Edition
Mostly Animal Crossing. I’m right at the end of Dragon Quest XI so I should finish it but can’t be bothered with the grind for the final boss so I’d be surprised if I go back to it this weekend.
Doom 64 again, I’ve finished it twice on the Switch and twice on the N64 now, I’m really loving it. I’ve managed to find all three secret runes now and I’ve beaten the extra chapter they’ve created.
I would also like to be playing the Panzer Dragoon Remake but the eShop took my money the other day and then crashed so I don’t have the game but the money has gone off my account. I tried contacting Nintendo support but I’ve heard nothing back. 😕
My friend from work is letting me borrow his Wii! So I’m hoping to revisit Twilight Princess, Zack and Wiki, and Mario Galaxy!
This weekend I’ll be heading back to Okami HD after spending the week on Assassins Creed Black Flag I just love both of those games and alternate between the two.
I also picked up Piku Niku on sale - it cost me something like 80p. Bizarre little game but I love it!
Been playing ARMS online with my son yesterday and again this morning with my nephew. Great fun, my son has had it from the start and I always enjoyed watching him play. Might seriously consider it for myself when the Game Trial is over. Also, Pikuniku, I’ve bought it three times now in less than a week 😅 bought it for my son and nephew and it’s been so much fun watching them I bought it for myself too! 89p for some bright, colourful, silly joy? You cannot go wrong, it will make you smile. Have a great weekend everyone, as best you can... stay home, stay safe.
I'm playing persona 5 royal atm it's fun
Currently waiting for my physical copy of Panzer Dragoon.
In the meantime, I'm pursuing my quest on the original Phantasy Star (M2 did a wonderfull job on this port), while unlocking some characters on SmaBro Ultimate from time to time.
Oh, and if I'm allowed to say, I'm replaying all of the Halo on Xbox in order to be prepared for Infinite.
Well, as of yesterday i have taken the furlough route so i plan to play alot of animal crossing, doom 64, nioh 2 and a whole lot more. Of course the wife has just told me i can start doing the decorating now im off so looks like its just Animal crossing for me.
Moving back and forth between Animal Crossing and Control, enjoying both very much!
@BulkSlash does it say purchased on the game page?
@Bobobiwan you’re not allowed to say that... 😉
I'm not sure what games i want to play this weekend. 🤔
I spent this weekend by drawing and designing my Chibi Boxers for project 2021.
I guess i will play Dance Dance Revolution 3rd Mix PS1.
I’ve started Danganronpa 2.
I’m rooting for hope to triumph over despair for the people in lockdown.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe online race's, Asphalt 9 and also Doom Eternal on the Xbox for me....
Animal Crossing and the Panzer Dragoon remake on Switch. Whilst on my Saturn it'll be Sonic R, Resident Evil and Burning Rangers
Animal Crossing all the way for me, i've never played any of the series before so i'm a newbie but absolutely loving it. i was a bit sceptical at first but i gave in and went digital which i never do. So glad i did it has me hooked... back to catching bugs and rare fish for me now and my new villagers arrive soon lol..
I've been playing Animal Crossing all day... and well into the night.
I'll pick some of the FF from the Square Enix sale, never properly played them before
For some reason I think I'll play FFVIII first, I liked its art style a bit more than the cartoonish style from the other two on ps1
I kinda want to buy Animal Crossing too but I don't know, it'll will probably take over everything and my backlog won't get smaller
Probably having a video game break and painting miniatures for Zombicide board game.
Might even have a go at playing the game too
@AmplifyMJ It doesn’t, I hoped it would show up there but it hasn’t. I’ve thought about buying it again to see if it spots I’ve already paid but knowing my luck I’d get charged again.
Animal Crossing of course.
Also going to finish Tokyo Dark Remembrance, soooo good.
Like a lot of people I'll be playing Animal Crossing and I've just opened the museum and concentrating on finding the resources for the shop.Seeing as it's my first AC I'm so glad I went digital as it's definitely the kind of game I will always want ready to dive into.Absolutely loving it!
Stardew Valley is another game I'm STILL hooked on..this game is just so addictive..
On the PS4 I have been getting well into Trails Of Cold Steel 2..I'm about 60 hours in and think I may be coming up to the end..
To be honest I need to put these video games aside and somehow get exercise that is equal to 5 hours walking on my postal route..
My 2 hour hour daily animal crossing session, compete snackworld and raise some DC ranks, get my last two Pokémon needed for the special magearna, complete horizon zero dawn DLC and give the bravely default 2 demo a try.
All whilst waiting patiently for my copies of octopath traveler and persona 5 Royal to arrive.
Animal Crossing and RBI Baseball 20.
Has anyone played Good Job? I'm interested in getting it but worried it might be a short game
Playing ARMS free test and loving it. Definitely will buy at some point, will be great for family game time.
Trying out the Bravely Default 2 demo. Combat feels sluggish compared to Octopath Traveler but it's growing on me. Liking the characters and art design.
Still chipping away at the aforementioned Octopath Traveler and will likely play some Mario Kart 8 and Bubble Bobble 4 Friends with the kids.
@Nintenarms He'll yeah brother!
Been playing a mix of Animal Crossing and One Step from Eden.
@Rpg-lover the one thing that irks me about is the fact your HP/MP don't regenerate on levelling. That's been pretty standard in RPGs for a while I feel.
@Steelhead exactly.. it's doesn't! Hopefully it will be all thrashed out & fixed before the full package arrives.
just finished the switcher main story..and take a little break from that
I just started the fire emblem dlc
and i hope for some multiplayer smash and mk8 online with some quarantine friends
Kingdom Hearts 3 on PS4 and Bowsers Inside Story on DS. Although may go back to Ace Combat 5 as well.
@Rpg-lover yeah, I'll be sure to bring it up in the survey.
I'm all for challenging battles but lacking this feature is a bit of a nuisance.
Adventure capitalist
Super Smash Bros. (N64) - Been working on trying to unlock Ness and complete the boarding the platforms challenges.
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker (3DS) - I was going to play 007, but this just came in the post....
Assassin's Creed: Altair's Chronicles HD (Windows Phone) - Those sewer levels can rot in hell...
@AmplifyMJ Damned, I knew it ! xD
Same thing I've been playing all day, every day for the past week. Animal Crossing. And some ring fit and minecraft earth
Animal Crossing New Horizons, Dragon Quest XI and Bravely Default II demo
Animal Crossing - so many bugs and fish to catch so little time.
Fortnite - Level 83
Pokemon - SIgned up for next competition and done some raids.
A whole lot of Animal Crossing, Also playing Ori and the blind forest..
Doom64 and doom 16 keeping me busy. I’ve just bought animal crossing but not sure I like it yet. Time will tell
ACNH & Ring Fit Adventure. Tried the new rhythm mode & super-advanced completely kicked my butt, I don't think I'll ever make it to ultra-advanced. 😂
DQ11, Good Job! and Shovel Knight!
Good Job! and Ringfit Adventure for sure.
Quarantine sure puts not having more than one switch into perspective
Doom Eternal. Such an adrenaline rush playing that game.
Considering getting Animal Crossing to balance out the gore and madness lol.
Really trying to finish up Owlboy tonight so I can I start my island retreat in animal crossing. I'm also playing thru final fantasy 7 and I'm at at the shinra building. Lastly, and if I have time, I'll play some doom 64, but probably only a level or two.
ARMS free trial, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe online, Doom 64, Luigi's Mansion 3 (just got it in the mail).
Playing Zelda BOTW for the first time. I am about 2 hours into it. So far, an amazing experience.
Mostly going to be Animal Crossing: New Horizons, this game is so addicting. Splatoon 2 had also been getting a lot of my attention for when I need something a little more fast paced.
@BulkSlash hope you get sorted out
Animal Crossing New Horizons and Horizon Chase Turbo.
Will be downloading Out Run later today.
@super-nintendo I was thinking of trying ARMS myself....how do you like it?
Btw have you guys tried the Bravely Default II demo? Maybe I'm doing something wrong but the battles are kinda... Absurdly difficult?
@AmplifyMJ I’ve actually just sorted it! 🥳
I decided sod I’ll risk being charged again and went through the purchase process. When it normally asks me to choose my payment method it jumped straight to the purchase completed screen so it’s downloading now! 😅
@Joe-b I love it. It's really fun with tight controls (I play with the joy-con grip or pro controller....both awesome controls!). You will get the hang of it fast in the tutorials. Great soundtrack, characters, animations and graphics. Give it 30 minutes at least and tell me how it went.
@BulkSlash excellent!
I'm still chipping away at Link's Awakening on the Switch. I've just finished Angler's Tunnel and am taking a brief break from the plot to give some attention to Dampè's dungeon building. I'm taking my time with the game; exploring every nook and cranny of Koholint for secrets (and completion) is a joy!
If I can peel myself away from the above, I'll be taking the Bravely Default II demo for a spin. I enjoyed the other two games, and the trailer from the Mini Direct seemed to show that much of what I love about the series will be returning.
Finally, I've been dipping into WarioWare Gold on 3DS every now and again. The frantic nature of the microgames makes it ideal for quick pickup and play sessions.
Have an awesome, blessed weekend! Stay safe all!
It's the weekend? All the days kind of run together...
I've been pretty busy between Animal Crossing, Dragon Quest XI, and the Bravely Default 2 demo (although Im basically done with that except the optional bosses at the end). The games just keep coming...
@Steelhead exactly me too as well, will do the same. Once the survey goes up.
Just downloaded Oninaki and loving the story so far. Also playing Divinity 2 and managed to preorder the Xenoblade collectors edition yesterday. So it’s RPG all the way, baby😂👍
Will be rotating around Fire Emblem Three Houses, Naruto Storm Collection, The Legend of Zelda:BOTW for this week 😂
Been playing Black Ops 2 online and COD: Warzone. Pretty fun
Going through my backlog. Recently finished Cadence of Hyrule and Celeste, so now I'll finish Katana Zero and most likely Shovel Knight or Wargroove after that.
Exit the Gungeon and a second playthrough of Starlink Battle for Atlas for the most part. Also, Star Wars Rogue Squadron.
My kids and I have been playing a TON of the new Ring Fit Adventure Rhythm mode
I bought Octopath Traveler this week, so I’m playing at weekend, also Animal Crossing and Shovel Knight
Well I just finished unlocking all characters in smash bros!
So it's back to Xenoblade Chronicles 2 for me
This weekend (well From now) I shall be setting up my new Switch system and getting stuck into animal crossing
JKIII:JA - but on my pc. As I commented before, I have on-off played this, & KotOR2 throughout the years, even to now. Both are excellent on their own, even moreso with mods.
Arms demo - I kinda like this. I'm fairly certain the Ultimate dlc will be Springman/Ribbongirl.
Super Mario Maker 2
@Rpg-lover Yes, the enemies are harder on purpose so that you can fully get the combat mechanics flowing, as they mentioned at the beginning of the demo. You just have to grind and find the gear in the chests throughout the maps and you will get there. Recommend lvl 16-17 for the boss final, he's quite the challenge if you aren't prepared
Played some New Horizons this morning and a little bit of Three Houses last night. Also got FFVII on Switch for $1.79, which is an absolute steal. I vow to finally beat the game.
I have relieving the pressures of real life by playing Animal Crossing this weekend, and I will probably pop on tomorrow. Seeing my town upgrade itself each day with hard work is making me beam with pride. More and more to do each day!
@drewber2635 ohh!! Is that so, i missed the line they said that. Thanks for this info. I have been grinding since, now i know they purposefully did that! No more complains from me.l
Animal crossing
Lego Star Wars 1 2 and 3
Jedi Academy
Now that the Direct Mini happened and revealed the Switch lineup for the next few months and there's pretty much nothing happening until Wonderful 101 Remastered on May 22nd, I'm going back to Dragon Quest XI S. My backlog won't last the almost 2 month gap but hopefully it lasts a decent amount of it.
Mostly Animal Crossing
literally just animal crossing , it's taken over.
Just Animal Crossing most likely. Also might start playing Grim Fandango Remastered. Loved it 20 or so years ago, so I’m curious to revisit it.
Rename this article to "What will you be doing in Animal Crossing this Weekend."
Animal Crossing and Ring Fit Adventure.
Having finished Tokyo Mirage Sessions a couple of weeks ago, I'm diving into my backlog now. I've been playing Pokemon X, Animal Crossing New Leaf and am thinking about starting Final Fantasy XII. Will probably pick up the new Animal Crossing at some point, but loving the 3DS entry for now (my first AC experience)!
Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Doom Eternal
Doom 64
Timesplitters (Maybe)
Animal Crossing: New Horizons, just like everyone else
Still playing Witcher 3. So much to do, so addicting.
@drewber2635 Thanks for that! I haven't dug into the Bravely Default II demo just yet, but I've been reading that some are having trouble with it. It's understandable as to why, though; they want you to fully test everything out!
Can't wait, I absolutely loved the other two games.
@super-nintendo ok. Will do!
Played a little Pokémon Sword but finally getting back into Xenoblade Chronicles X on Wii U. There's so many different mechanics to think about you can get overwhelmed but am having fun with it again, almost got my skell licence and I'm sure that's where the game really takes off.
Also might try ARMS, didn't like it the first time I played but happy to give it another shot.
the kids are playing a TON of Pikuniku which was on sale for 92 cents U.S. I am playing some Cursed Castilla on sale for 50%off. In between those two games, am taking my time with Monster Boy.
@NintendoByNature I commend you for trying to finish Owlboy. I really wish I could get it done. It's good, but something about the controls deters me.........
@steveputer i finished it earlier today. I thought it was decent 6.5 out of 10. The controls were the only downside to the game. And 1 part in particular had me pulling my hair out( the worm/ Dragon ride if you got that far). The game was beautiful but it wasn't great in terms of gameplay. Story was ok i suppose.
I got Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 yesterday and finished the campaign this morning. Will be grinding through that Animal Crossing for ages to come.
Animal Crossing and Bravely Default 2 Demo. Maybe some Pokémon Sword too
Trials of Mana demo, Bravely Default II demo, Starlink, and Blaster Master Zero 2.
Alongside Animal Crossing: New Horizons (like every other person who plays the Switch), probably Devil May Cry 2 and Pokémon Y.
I am currently played Minecraft and Rocket League on the Switch. But Animal Crossing: New Horizons is being delivered to me in 3 days time!!!! So can't wait for that. Once that happens I will join nearly everyone I know who is already playing the game.
PS4: CTR: Nitro Fueled, Doom Eternal
Switch: Arms Trial, Pikuniku, Mega Man 11
@super-nintendo that definitely gets you pumped! Pretty neat game. I'll play some more tomorrow. It's pretty funny, I'm throwing these combos and you really get into it. Pretty good stuff!
Japanese Rail Simulator. I bought it while I was in Japan a few weeks ago because it's not out yet in America. It is supposed to be released in the west, but Dispatch is publishing it and incase you missed it, that company might be in the process of collapsing.
I'm also playing a lot of Wii U.
Assassins Creed Odyssey. Completed campaign, and most DLC.
I will do Fate of Atlantis DLC last.
Besides that , Destiny 2 and Astral Chain.
@Joe-b Cool man! It's really a fun game! Once you complete Grand Prix, you can play ranked matches online. Online ranks are addicting. I'm seriously getting good at it! I'm glad Nintendo is putting ARMS in Smash Bros. ARMS has so many awesome characters.
@super-nintendo awesome, thanks for the suggestion to try it. We are in a "stay at home" order. So it's been alot of animal crossing...I can play this as well. I'm going nuts staying in....working from home and such...
I can't play anything because I can't find the Nintendo console I need to play a game I want Animal Crossing New Horizons
Bought octopath traveler and am really enjoying it. The retro style with modern enhancements suits my style of gaming perfectly. Can’t wait for the sequel!
Beside ACNH, I'm slowly progressing to the end of XC2. And I bought YS VIII and Octopath in sale, pre-ordered Trials of Mana and looking forward to XC definitive edition. Quite some time to kill for the near future .
Bizarrely seem to have had less time for video games since lockdown. Been building a climbing frame for the kids to give them something to do in the garden.
Still, played a bit of Civ 6. Second proper playthrough, playing as Queen Victoria going for a military victory. Brilliant game, weirdly peaceful.
Also played a bit of mario party with the family but annoyingly my blue joy con that i replaced the sl and sr button strip on has stopped working again so we could only play 3 players.
Oh well. Just glad we have things like video games and the internet in these difficult times!
It was mostly Animal Crossing for me this weekend. But I played some Pokemon and Fire Emblem too.
Well Im playing animal crossing too... But It seems Im getting tired of it already....
I just downloaded Warface to play online with some friends (its not a great game, I know), Im going to try finishing Megaman 6 too....
@darkswabber nice brutal legend! A cult classic!
I just finished my 2nd play through of Fire Emblem Three Houses, plus my kids and I have play a whole bunch of the new rhythm mode in Ring Fit Adventure
