After a new Nintendo Switch update (remember to update those Joy-Con, too!), rumours of a Resident Evil 4 remake and the last few days of the huge Nintendo spring sale to think about, it's been yet another busy week.
Thankfully, it's now time to relax and chat about our weekend gaming plans. Members of Team Nintendo Life have done just that below, and we'd love for you to join in via our poll and comment sections. Enjoy!

Once again, any free time I have this weekend will no doubt be taken up by Animal Crossing: New Horizons. I'm about 60 hours in at this point and still feel like I have so much left to do to my island - I've finally started tinkering with paths, fences, and the occasional outdoor ornament, but my house is a mess and I've only really scratched the surface of what I'd like to do outdoors.
I've also decided that my favourite villager is Cranston. He was one of my earlier residents and I love him to bits. Just thought I'd share that with you.

The Animal Crossing: New Horizons live gig stage is growing out of proportions but I still require further light variations and I still have no floor lights. I might have to do some kick-off live streaming sessions from my brand new basement instead... before I turn that room into an arcade. SD Gundam G Generation Cross Rays and Saints Row IV: Re-Elected both continue to tick all the right boxes for some much welcome video game escapism.
My game of the week is Super Pixel Racers. New to the Switch despite its original 2018 original release date, it does exactly what the name suggests… and rather well I might add.

This week I’ll be ticking off my Animal Crossing to-do list and hopefully making a killing on the Stalk Market, but I’d really like to break the back of The Messenger. I’m thoroughly enjoying its retro charms and would love to get through it in a couple more sessions and tick it off the ol’ backlog. After getting the chance to chat with Sabotage about Sea of Stars, going back to The Messenger has only made me more excited for what the studio is cooking up. Have a good one everyone, and stay safe.

Like many other Switch owners, this weekend I'll be sinking most of my spare time into Animal Crossing: New Horizons. With Bunny Day out of the way, I can finally return my attention to island development and my home loan. I should probably make some more animal friends as well, as I've only got a handful on my island at the moment. Other than this, I might give Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair another go now that there's a new update available for the game. I've been wanting an excuse to revisit it for a while, so this is the perfect chance.

With the rumours about a Resident Evil 4 remake circulating, I've gone back to the original for another round against the pesky Los Illuminados. I've just completed a run through the campaign on normal difficulty, so this weekend I'll head straight back and start it on professional. I don't think it's too much of a stretch to say it's my favourite game of all time!
I'm also still plugging away at Animal Crossing: New Horizons, although I must admit that I'm not spending that much time with it at the moment; I tend to jump in, see what The Able Sisters have in stock, then leave it for the day.
As always, thanks for reading! Make sure to leave a vote in the poll above and a comment below with your gaming choices over the next few days...

Animal Crossing NH.
Since its premiere. All the time
Still The Witcher 3 - I’m not sure what will finish first: lockdown or Geralt’s adventures.
Who am I kidding? Lockdown will finish first...
Animal crossing
Hypercharge: Unboxed. (Fantastic game, glad I purchased while on sale!)
Mega-drive collection (making my way through streets of rage!)
Tetris 99
Mario kart
Continuing my playthrough on Tokyo mirage session fe encore..
SMT Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker (3DS) for me. I’m on day 7 so I might even finish it too. Although I think I need to grind up a few levels before I can push on.
I didn’t like the characters at first, but the gameplay is one of the best of the SMT series that I’ve played at least. The fates system is drawing me more into the characters.
I’ve gone Chaos as I often do. I have some regret though as the alignments are more political this time (not intending to make political comments here, I avoid those debates if I can on a gaming site, everyone’s entitled to their own values and we are a global community here with cultural differences I respect - but it impacts my thoughts on this game).
Law is more about equality and Chaos this time is submitting to a higher power which I usually don’t like about Law. As a socialist I find it weird following this capitalist route, which also isn’t the freedom route this time.
Got quite a few things I've been meaning to play but keep just playing Animal Crossing all day instead...
I am playing Yoshi’s Crafted World, such a cute, fun and relaxing game and to me it looks so visually appealing, going to try and 100% this game.
Think i’m finally starting Octopath traveler, just cant decide on which starting character to choose.
Also if I want to do the two party play style
Any suggestions?
I hear theion is good to star with for purple chests.
Think im on the final chapter of FF remake so will get that done today then who knows? Got ACNH but as of late i just cant be arsed to play it. Ive got so many games over multiple consoles and just sometimes sit and think "what do i fancy playing next" and can never decide.
I've bounced off Animal Crossing Crossing pretty hard so that's getting a rest for a while. So probably Final Fantasy VII remake which I'm enjoying and lots of older Sega games, I recently picked up Sonic Racing Transformed and its brilliant
Picked up Metro 2033 in the sale. Being a novice I decided to go in the deep end with 'ranger' mode and it's absolutely punishing, but I love it though.
This week I will be mostly playing
Final Fantasy 7
Bubsy Paws on Fire and I am not even kidding when I say that. It's on sale for $5 and I finally decided to pick it up since it's made by the same people who brought us Runner 3. Despite it's very mediocre review on this site I found it to be a much better experience than the critic implied, and I actually prefer it to Runner 3. It's a surprisingly good game for what it is and it stands out over other more traditional platformers.
Another game I picked up on sale is Slay the Spire. I am usually not into card games but this looks like an interesting take and it has received a lot of praise. Gonna get into it tomorrow most likely.
As for Animal Crossing it has been my routine to spend about a half hour to an hour just doing some daily chores for progress and so on.
Lots of Animal Crossing, Civ 6 and Ultimate Chicken Horse
Some Fire Emblem 3 Houses too. My Switch is getting a lot of use.
Gonna be less next week, as I have to go back to work and pretend there is a point to having teachers go into work without having any students to teach. Yay!
I'm still playing a lot of Animal Crossing although I feel like I'm running out of things to do and the fruit situation is annoying.
I've also gone back to some older games. I'm really enjoying Steamworld Quest at the moment for example and I've put in a few more hours into Darkest Dungeon.
I started Little Nightmares a couple of days ago and so far, I'm really enjoying it. It reminds me a lot of Inside, which is one of my favourite Switch games. I went into it expecting really long load times, which has put me off from playing it previously but as it turns out, there was a patch there ready to download and load times really aren't that bad at all, around 15 to 20 seconds. I'd read they took up to 1 minute previously. I've died a fair few times already so I'm thankful for the patch.
The XC2/Fire Emblem/Spirit of Justice triad yet again this weekend (getting close to the end in Light & Shadow, too). Likely some PictoQuest, maybe even a couple races in PSP Gran Turismo and some bites here and there from PS4 library (my console is finally back up and running for once😆). The rest is up to the time and mood as usual.
Done with Animal Crossing for the foreseaable future and I just completed Dead or School a few hours ago (thanks for the review NL, this would've definitely gone of my radar if not for that, it was a really decent game I think). Trials of Mana remake is releasing in a weeks time so I think for now I'll just take it easy and try to focus on my SRPG Studio project instead of starting any new playthroughs.
Just started Cities Skylines and I honestly don't get where the frame rate complaints are coming from. It's really smooth for me, and I'm in handheld mode.
Some gears 5 deathmatch for me along with asphault 9.
Animal Crossing then Final Fantasy VII Remake then Animal Crossing..possibly some PSVR Beat Saber and finally Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing.
@Heavyarms55 so tempted to get civ 6 over the last couple of days in the sale but damn it looks pretty hard and complicated to get in to. Ive had it on the purchase screen about 6 times now.
Just beat FF7 Remake, so I'll probably mostly be playing Animal Crossing while I wait for Trials of Mana next week. RPG Gauntlet 2020 is in full swing!
The Witcher had still got me by the balls! Whenever I’ve played another game albeit briefly something at the back of my brain is saying “I could be searching for new gear at those question marks!”.
@OorWullie this is great info! I too was put off by long load times but now they’ve been patched.... great! I’ll happily add Little Nightmares to my backlog.
I downloaded Townsmen last night, huge sale. Enjoying it's cute graphics and hidden micro systems.
@Kidfunkadelic83 It's complexity can be overcome fairly quickly. The bigger challenge is the sheer amount of time and prep needed to accomplish your goals; invading, waiting to get a specific advance. It is however engrossing and chill. I literally have to make notes in between games.
This weekend i played PS3 games:

1. The Sims 3
2. Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction
Probably i will play Pokepark 2: Wonders Beyond Wii tonight.
I finally got a copy of Zelda: Links Awakening! love it so far!
Gonna be playing Animal Crossing mostly, but I have just had a parcel through the door which consisted of Hogan's Alley for the NES, so I'm gonna be going old school too! 😉👌
Just tinkering with post game for Ni No Kuni, then I will go back and do the DLC for either Witcher 3 or finally get the paid DLC for FE3H. So many great games.
Since I haven’t gotten Animal Crossing yet ...I’ll
probably just be playing some MK8D & Pokémon Sword on Switch & Jump Force on PS4. I just found my Gameboy Micro & PSVita, so if I can find the chargers too, I’ll play a little Leafgreen & Suikoden too.
Might just play a little bit of some games I haven't played in a while, like Fast RMX, Splatoon 2, snes online etc. Or I might start one of my smaller backlog games like Old Man's Journey or Transistor.
Got a sort-of-IRL game of 'Taskmaster' over Zoom this afternoon so that should be fun, need to think up some tasks. And might try and convince the kids to play some board games and/or Overcooked or Mario Party. Especially as the sl-sr button thingy replacement I order a month ago is finally due to arrive tomorrow so, all being well, I should have 4 functioning joycons again.
Oh and some Ring Fit Adventure no doubt.
Playing the same thing as last week, which is Fire Emblem Three Houses and Cat Quest 2. I'm almost finished the Black Eagles campaign, so I'll be putting the game down for awhile after I'm finished that so I can play some other things. My wife and I are playing Cat Quest 2 in co-op and its incredibly fun. I like it more than the original in about every way, except for maybe the story.
I also picked up Hyper Sentinel, Stunt Kite Party and Gurgamoth on sale this week for mere pennies. Had about 50 cents still in my eshop account, and they do look pretty fun. 99% off sales can be kind of dicey, but I'm sure that I'm seeing some quality in these ones to justify the pennies spent.
@beazlen1 I just timed a couple of load screens there, one took 29 seconds, the other 27 seconds. So a bit longer than I thought. Still, it's a huge improvement on before and is tolerable. I've quit playing games before because of load times, Deus Ex on Wii U comes to mind.
@spirit_flame i may just grab it for £22.50. There must be some indepth tutorials online.
@Mince
I always enjoyed mages so started with Cyrus
Then of course his health and defense sucked so needed a healer (she is conveniently geographically close to him)
They are both squishy so needed strong defense and physicals to save MP (he was also nearby)
After that is up to you, I grabbed Tessa since she was close by and enjoyed her more than I thought I would.
Thief is a bit inconvenient to get to if you start out like this though
I guess I played it pretty safe/generic
Went for Black Mage, then White, then Warrior
@Mince I started with the hunter, but kept Therion in my team the whole time for chests. Everyone else I swapped around to mix things up and try and keep everyone at nearly the same level. Loved this game, hoping Bravely Default 2 comes sooner rather than later.
@Expa0 I just started Dead or School. Enjoying it so far.
I'm also in the middle of DQXI and Bloodstained. Unfortunately my Switch has started overheating every time I play for more than 30 minutes. So I'm spending a lot of time crocheting instead of gaming.
VALORANT, P5R and maybe start Celeste on my Switch.
Yooka Laylee and the impossible lair for me. Absolutely obsessed with it now. Feels like a true rare game. Only downfall is the load times but I'm playing this game for the long run. It's the Rare magic I've longed for. Well done Playtonic! Also bought the Toddler and kids puzzle game for the kids. My 5 and 6 year old daughter loves it. A bit pricey and not really much content for the price. It's promised more themes which i hope they do.
Hopefully some time for animal crossing! My first AC game and really enjoying the chill factor. Just upgraded resident services and have about 5 villagers. Never done any AC online so might try and give it a shot later and open the gates to the big, bad world!
Managed to get physical copy of Sphinx and the curse of the mummy cheap , so have been working my way through that , quite enjoyable action adventure ....🤪🤪
@Kidfunkadelic83 Oh yeah sure. There are loads. I think... Steam has a pdf manual that you can download. First thing to focus on is deciphering the icons; productivity, science, culture etc. So that you can understand what you're looking at. Next thing is the City management options; build orders etc. After that everything falls into place. Definitely is one of the most in depth games ever made. The challenge I have is having the right military units to take down a city. Anyways enjoy!
I'll probably squeeze in a bit more Animal Crossing, but I fancy something "a little bit different" too. Maybe Astral Chain or Daemon X Machina. I have both of those to finish.
I'm playing Torna the Golden Country (Xenoblade 2 DLC)
I will probably alternate Between Yooka-Laylee and The Impossible Lair and Zelda BotW. Also may start a new file in Zelda Majora's Mask 3D.
Jedi Academy and Professor Layton Unwound Future
More animal crossing for me. I’ve put nearly 80 hours in now. My islands a mess but having never played an AC before I’m learning everything as I go.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons - Just chilling. Paid my extra room yesterday and made Nook build me a new one so now I have 3 rooms in a total.
Etrian Odyssey Untold - Started playing this one recently. Finished the 1st Stratum so now I'm back in Gladsheim. Today I explored the 1st floor and found the boss room but had to visit the town so I didn't battle it yet.
Ring Fit Adventure - Daily Ring Fit sessions. On day 18 or something like that.
Pokémon Shuffle - I've talked about being close to done for a while now but progress is slow. I basically have 4 things left to do but I need to grind money to be able to do anything and wait for jewels for the last task. Only one UX stage left to S rank so that's great. I was one move away on my first try but haven't come as close since.
Other than that, my weekend will be more about watching games being played thanks to TRG Colosseum.
20arnoldlayne831m ago
Taking a break from Dragon Quest Builder 2 (NSW) after clearing second island, playing mainly Nioh 2 (Ps4) and Fire Emblem 3 Houses (totally hooked in the story and gameplay loop). Switch is becoming my main console during Covid time.
Digimon Cyber Sleuth. I’m addicted.
Animal Crossing, Doom 3 and some Nier Automata on Xbox for me.
This weekend in all about World of Warcraft and Minecraft (on the Switch)!
Lots of Dreamcast:
Crazy Taxi
v rally 2
Sega Rally 2
original Resident Evil 3
Vampire chronicles
and thrown in some Mario Kart 8
and FF 7.
FF7R, RE3 & DOOM Eternal (PS4)
Football Manager 2019 (Switch)
after finishing Luigis Mansion 3 I've not had the urge to play anything in the little guy other than FM, just started the 2035/36 as manager of Barcalona
This week I’ll be mostly playing, PAC champions, Diablo 3, MHGU.
Animal Crossing, like everyone else. ^^
Also finishing Wolfenstein: The New Order on my One X, and have finally started on Final Fantasy VII - got it for my Switch. After I've completed that one, I'll get started on FF7 Remake.
And of course I'll get to playing Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, New Colossus and Youngblood after I'm done with the first one. Taking full advantage of this self-isolation. :')
Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Splatoon 2 and Mario Kart 8. Also going to get outside for some fresh air with the family. My daughter is seeing the Marvel films for the first time so we’re set to watch Captain America: The Winter Soldier and maybe Guardians of the Galaxy. Going to be a great weekend!
Finished off final fantasy 7 last night. So I started my playthough of cosmic star heroine. I'm also playing animal crossing and and genesis classics.
Too many games! FF7R, P5R, Resi3, Granblue Fantasy Versus, Animal Crossing and Tokyo Mirage.
Like I imagine most people, I will be playing mainly Animal Crossing this weekend, I have really been going to town when it comes to decorating my island itself and it is shaping up wonderfully. If I get bored of that I may finish up Medievil on PS4 or play some more Landstalker from the Sega Genesis Collection on the Switch, it is a surprisingly good little gem.
Current weekend gaming plans include the Asphalt 9 events, Super Mario Party, Mario Kart 8, and squeeze in some grinding in Tokyo Mirage Sessions.
On the PC side of things, planning to try Borderlands thanks to a free week Steam is having.
I may play some other games, but I want to try to get around to playing these.
@MarioBrickLayer Awesome game! I never played the original but the new Remake was a lot of fun! Enjoy!
@Akropolon I have yet to finish Wolfenstein The New Order on Xbox.. I’m probably going to have to buy it since it’s leaving gamepass soon and it’s a great game. I played Youngblood and New Colossus on Switch- but I’m curious how they stack up on Xbox. I find it takes me less time to complete games on my Switch.
More XB1 stuff, this time Shadow of the Tomb Raider. I have so much XB1 backlog but very little Switch backlog.
I do a thing once a month where I let a random generator select a game that is on sell then I give it a honest try. Sometimes I find myself loving a game that otherwise I'd never would have selected. If it's bad after a few hours I call it quits till next month. This month is valient hearts.
@Mamabear You've still got about two weeks left! And it's not all that long (and very linear), so I'd go for it if I were you. ^^
And yeah, I get what you mean. I don't finish all that many games in general, but the ones I have played in their entirety in the last year were Switch games (Pokémon, Luigi's Mansion, etc). Not even because of the option to play in handheld, but there's just something about that system that keeps me playing. 😅
Still working on my backlog and I’ve held off buying more games ( so far!). I was thinking about Call of Juarez since it’s on sale but I’m really trying to hold off buying new games.
I just finished South Park Stick Of Truth- overall fantastic game. There were a couple sections that made me squirm but it was a blast and the combat is surprisingly good. I hope they make a new South Park game as I’ve really enjoyed SoT and FbW.
I was thinking about starting up Hob or Hotline Miami Collection next!
@Mamabear Hahaha, yeah, I totally get the squirming part. There's some seriously dated jokes in there, but dammit, do the gameplay and presentation deliver! I bought FBW some time ago, it's next on the list - after all those games I previously mentioned. 😂
Will finish Blasphemous...great game. Then onto Doom 64.
I'm playing the same games add last weekend, but on switch where possible.
Tokyo Mirage Sessions - I was playing on Wii U but got it on switch. I like playing it I switch better than the Wii U. Reading texts off the gamepad was getting old. Plus I wanted to put the Wii U away...
Bloodstained - got it on switch. The Xbox version looks better but I very much prefer gaming on the switch.
Halo5 - I should call my Xbox the halo machine because that's pretty much all I use it for.
Guardians of the Galaxy: The TellTale Series (Windows 10) - I'm finally coming back to finish the last remaining episode today.
Fallout 3 (Games For Windows) - Still having fun doing random things.
Assassin's Creed: Altair's Chronicles HD (Windows Phone) - Heading into a Templar fortress.
Animal Crossing New Horizons
Borderlands goty edition on Xbox one
Since I’m constantly working I don’t have much time to play anything but I am still managing to get in my daily dose of Animal Crossing New Horizons. I can’t believe how addicted I am to that game. Aside from that, I’ll try and continue to make progress in FF7R. I’m on chapter 9 and loving every minute of it.
I’m absolutely hooked on NBA playgrounds 2, so definitely more of that. I picked up Immortal Redneck on sale, and I got a copy of NBA 2K20 for half price Thursday. That’s probably going to be the only cartridge in my switch for the next few months.
Have completed conta hard corps twice the easier Japanese version I love it. I can get to about level 4 consistently without continuing on the other versions. It’s such a great game and I love the fact a run through is about 25 minutes, but with branching paths and multiple characters it’s so replayable x x x x x x mite do shinobi 3 soon x x x x x take care everyone x x x.
Breath of the Wild. Just started it this week. I’m a bit late to the Zelda party but I’m having one hell of a time!
I'm finally playing the original Yooka Laylee, I really like it overall. I love the controls and music, and the core gameplay is great. I have more rever e concerning the characters and story, most characters look downright ugly, and I'm not digging the humour. But overall it's a great nostalgia trip for someone like me who grew up with the N64 and who loves the Banjo Kazooie games. I'm kind of sad that they didn't improve on the solid bases of the first and gone with a more generic 2d game with the sequel. But hey, it looks like the second game turned out great according to the reviews and my impressions from the demo.
Slay the Spire (Ascension 20 cleared ) 10!
Picross S (this game is polished like Nintendo games!) 8!
SUDOKU relax (me too!) 8!
Diablo3 (so controllable!) 8!
Titan quest (I played it on steam, I loved it.but Diablo3 is more better.) 6!
MUTANT Road to Eden (really difficult..) 5!
@JayJ I absolutely love Slay the Spire. If I'm not playing anything else, then I'm always playing this one regardless. Let me know what you think.
Played a couple hours of New Horizons earlier (had my first go at water/cliff building, will come back for K.K's concert tonight) and might play a bit of Spyro Reignited Trilogy later.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Finally gonna have my first K.K. Slider concert on my island. So I’m looking forward to that. And a little bit of Dirt Rally 2.0. Downloaded it on PSPlus along with Uncharted 4, so I’ll be busy with that.
Switch:
Yooka Laylee and the Impossible Lair
Spyro Reignited Trilogy
Xbox One:
Ori and the Blind Forest
Rise of the Tomb Raider
A Boy and His Blob
Untitled Goose Game
I finally beat Starlink, just gotta finish one more Dreadnought. Guess I'll go back to Blaster Master Zero 2 now.
Mainly Animal Crossing because of homework, but also Smash Bros!
ACNH and the demo for Picross S4.
Harvest Moon ToT
I picked up Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom whilst it’s on sale for less than £16 and it’s without doubt one the best Metroidvania games you will ever play. I’ve also picked up Giana Sisters and Pac-Man Champ 2 in sales. Also fitting in a daily dose of A.C.
re3 for xbox, Friday the 13th killer puzzles, freecell solitaire & monopoly for the switch.
@Bobarino you have the same tastes in games as I do. My XBone is also only a Halo Machine. LOL. It would be sweet if Halo: TMCC ever came to Switch.
Still playing Fantasy Life (3DS), and loving every minute of it. About 25 hours in, and forgot there was a story since I have been trying several Lives. Maybe I will advance the story this weekend.
This game is scratching an itch I never knew I had. Great game to relax to.
Recently Picked up "Conduct Together!" for $.01 so I'll be enjoying that.
Animal Crossing, Fortnite and Digimon Cyber Sleuth are all taking up my time on the daily at this point. Gotta love that quarantine free time lmao
@Akropolon 2 weeks should let me beat the game if I can quit playing Rise of the Tomb Raider lol. I think I’m actually very close to finishing the game since the base camp was discovered. I just like finding all the collectibles and I find that I’m missing a lot of them.
Sims 4 and Animal Crossing. I’m trying to get into the habit of playing Animal Crossing for at least a few minutes every day and I’m collecting iron for building the shop.
I’m replaying the original FFVII on the Switch after being disappointed with the remake. I certainly appreciate its brilliance even more now!
@Akropolon you’ve got awhile before you start it then! 😅 There’s not many games that I buy DLC for but I did end up buying the 2 level packs since I enjoyed it so much.
I have become an official resident in ACNH, spending more time there than in the real world 🙈 let’s face it, it is far more pleasant right now!!
Finished Witcher 3 last weekend. What a game. I know some people complain about third party AAA ports coming to the Switch. I love them and want more of them. Looking forward to Outer Worlds, Crysis, and Doom Eternal.
As for this weekend, Link's Awakening. A nice palate cleanser to the long trek that is Witcher 3.
@CairiB
You ever got around to Assassins Creed ?
I think this is the week I finally boot up Astral Chain. I've been looking forward to this since it was first revealed but my backlog has stopped me getting to it.
Also I am tracking down those final teensies in the magnificent Rayman Legends, and if I manage that I'll be starting Transistor on the side, which I got for an outrageously low price in an eshop sale six months ago..
Taking advantage of the double XP and double weapon XP in Modern Warfare this weekend. When I am not doing that it will be Fallout 76 with some friends. After the latest content update I am really enjoying this game.
I finally finished Final Fantasy V Advance earlier today, during my break after lunch.
I'm sure I'll play FF VI in the near future but for now I started Doom for the first time. When I bought it it was so cheap on the eShop... Perhaps it was time for me to finally give it a try!
Animal Crossing and Wrath of the White Witch on the Switch. might buy a game off of the eshop too but that won’t be until Monday
@CosmoXY ‘My daughter is seeing the Marvel films for the first time so we’re set to watch Captain America: The Winter Soldier and maybe Guardians of the Galaxy. Going to be a great weekend!‘ Two of my favourites, I hope your daughter enjoys them.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and a LOT of DOOM 1993 on Switch... again! Looking for all the secrets this time. I have yet to pick up DOOM 64 but I more than likely will... please NintenDOOM Eternal me soon though Panic Button! It’s my birthday in May... just saying 😉
Animal Crossing and Smash Bros Ultimate.
@TenEighty
Yay... Someone played Harvest Moon Tree of Tranquility. 😀
How was your progress so far ?
@Vicki_S
😮
Someone played The Sims 4. 😀
Did you play the PC / PS4 / XBOX ONE version?
And how do you deal with so many temptating DLC and Expansion packs ? 😣
Mainly Animal Crossing, I got it last weekend, and play it for a few hours, but really got into last night. Great game. Last time I played an Animal Crossing was back on the GameCube. Also will be playing a bit of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3.
@Anti-Matter
I finally got a cow and a chicken! So I still have some game-play to go.
Hopefully finish Torchlight 2, which I bought in the sale last week. Maybe some Assassin's Creed Rebel Collection too. Have a good weekend!
I am still playing AC New Horizons! About to finally unlock landscaping so the real fun is about to start. I also finally started playing Sayonara Wild Hearts. Great game but a bit on the short side and unfortunately a bit of style over substance. Definitely recommend but maybe at a slight sale (around $10)
I am a new Animal crossing fan, and I've been absolutely loving new horizons! I just can't stop playing the game every day...SEND HELP!
@Anti-Matter PC because it's the best version and how I've played for 20 years. I've got tons of CC and mods.
As for how I deal with tempting DLC and expansions...I have EVERYTHING for every mainline game plus Medieval. I even have the TS1 soundtrack in my iTunes collection. I have a problem XD
Minecraft! so hyped for dungeons!
This weekend, I will be enjoy my daily check-ins for Animal Crossing as well as losing so so many hours to Slay the Spire (thank you spring sale). I have yet to actually win a round, but I did make it to Act 3 a few times and my god has it been satisfying. With friends, we all started playing Diablo 3 together (GO CRUSADER!). The last game for the switch is Resident Evil 1. I have never played myself, but watched my brother play it back on the PS1. It is taking a bit of getting use to, but I am excited to see what it has to offer and see what unlocks I can achieve.
On the Xbox one, I have been playing Dead by Daylight with some friends and have been really enjoying it, but I feel like it is finally starting to run its course as it can get on the more repetitive side of things. Single player experience has me trying out Resident Evil 2 Remake with the hype of Resi 3 remake, I got curious and don't want to get too into it until I finish 1 on the switch, but sweet lady temptation has me. The last thing that I have yet to actually try is Forza Horizion 4 which I got from Game Pass. I was a huge fan of 3 so I am holding high expectations for this.
As scary as all of this Covid-19 stuff is, not working has given me plenty of time to catch up on my ever growing backlog. Stay safe everyone!
@Kidfunkadelic83 It can be a lot to learn but just play on lower difficulty first. Experiment and plan to lose as just a means of learning how things work. The game will tell you what everything does. There's a lot to learn but it's all very naturally integrated into the game.
I reinstalled Lego DC Super Villains (had it crash 3 times in an hour or so, seems better so far), so I'm giving that a go thanks to the sale. I'm also jumping between Retro City Rampage DX and Shakedown Hawaii to see which I like better.
And of course, the daily ritualistic sacrifice to Tom Nook.
gonna do my routines in animal crossing and try to make some headway in final fantasy 7 remake on PS4.
PS4: Doom Eternal
Switch: Mega Man 11
Picked up RED FACTION: GUERILLA, DARKSIDERS, and EVERSPACE during last week's NA deals. Around $60.00 for all 3, so I will be bouncing between those and making more headway in FF7:REMAKE.
I am just playing fortnite
Well, I am bored with Animal Crossing at this point. I was wonder how long the game would be a thing that I would want to do every day and seems like that's about a month.
@OorWullie thanks for checking the loading times. I think I’ll take the plunge and add Little Nightmares to my mega backlog. It’ll sit somewhere near the top probably sandwiched between The Touryst and Outlast 2. What a time to be a gamer. Soooo many games.
Some Warzone and Unravel 2.
@JSDude1
That would be awesome if TMCC came to switch.
I've been looking for a fun shooter on switch, but haven't found any that I like as much as halo.
