Lame. They need an event that will let me stock up on Filler items. What a wasted opportunity!

Any unique spirits?

Such history made in one year. Mario, Sonic, Mega Man, Pac-Man, Ryu, Cloud, Joker, Banjo & Kazooie, Snake, Simon Belmont, Link, Samus, Shulk, and countless other gaming icons all in one place.

To bad that I won't be able to play Ultimate for a while due to sending my joycons to repair (don't have more controls and can't spend money for a while too). Still, hope the rest can enjoy it!

I don't quite like the art very much. Too heavy on the red/oranges.

I noticed that the image involves either newcomers or characters who got cut in Brawl and Smash for Wii U and weren’t added back in as DLC. Nice touch

I missed a bunch of new spirit weekends. Will want to grab them when they pop up, but also really need gold to finish up the vault... Not so much sp.

Quite an amazing game this Smash Bros is but I don't think that's something that even needs to be said. The game has seen frequent play through the whole year and I don't see that stopping any time soon.

Aiiiie. All my spirits are max level. Plus I have no more to collect. Oh well. Hopefully we get some news on the next DLC fighter soon.

@Diddy64 If you had Mayflash adapter, you could have used Wii U, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, Neo Geo controllers on Switch.

I bought this adapter years ago.

@Diddy64 Yes. A wired USB Xbox 360 Gamepad for example is very cheap and great to use on any Switch game.

These adapters costs only 20$ or less i think it was. Supports wireless and USB wired Gamepads.
This Switch adapter can also be used on PC, Android on a PS3 console too for same support of gamepads.

It also gets firmware upgrades to support even more.

@Ventilator Thanks. Once I can spend again I'll buy one, plus one of those 360 controllers.

@Diddy64 No problem. Since the adapter supports different API's, you may already have a working wired USB Gamepad from PC or something.
The Grey older adapter is cheaper than the new black one which also supports usage on PS4.
Both gets firmware upgrades.

Might have to grind myself some SP. I have over 900 spirits so far but never for one moment thought I'd bother collecting them, it's just so addictive.

I've put in nearly 400 hours over the last year. This game has been food for the soul. I keep coming back to it and it's such an evergreen title. Banjo-Kazooie finally being added certainly helps.

I like how the picture is a bunch of characters with a sort of celebratory expression, then Young Link is randomly firing an arrow.

@OYUMN I know but even so, having Inkling, Ken, Terry, Pkmn Trainer, and Kazooie so front and center does overdo it a bit for me.

The amount of time i've put into Ultimate is insane. Haven't been as into a Smash game like this since Melee and I consider it the best game on the system.
