It's been a hugely busy week this week with all sorts of Animal Crossing shenanigans going on around the world, so we couldn't be more pleased to have finally reached the weekend.
Members of Team Nintendo Life have shared their gaming plans for the next couple of days below, and we'd love for you to join in via our poll and comment sections. Enjoy!

We’re living through strange and somewhat worrying times at the moment and I hope everyone out there is taking the necessary precautions to protect themselves and their families over the next couple of months. It’s not gonna be easy, but we’ll make it through! I’m currently in lockdown at home with my kids where we shall inevitably be playing a whole damn lot of Animal Crossing: New Horizons over the course of this weekend.

I’ll also be shaking things up a bit with a long-overdue return to the glorious DOOM 64 and I must admit I’m quite looking forward to reacquainting myself with a game I played waaaay too much of back in my university days. Elsewhere I’m still absolutely loving Under Night In-Birth Exe: Late[cl-r] and am still regularly dipping back into the sublime Divinity Original Sin 2, a game that never stops giving. Take care and please stay safe everyone.

As I write this, Animal Crossing: New Horizons still hasn't graced my doormat with its presence, so my game of the weekend will be 'sit near the front door and stare at the letterbox until the postman comes and gives me the only ray of sunshine left on this cold, harsh planet'. You won't believe how realistic the graphics are.
It's hard to complain given the circumstances, of course, so I'll try and squeeze in some small bursts of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX while I patiently wait for it to arrive. Hopefully it won't be long before I join everyone in our new deserted island home, though, because I haven't been this hyped for a game in a while. Stay safe everyone!

I have to believe that Kyogoku-san and Nogami-san are somehow psychic or have the ability to predict the future, for the release of Animal Crossing: New Horizons clearly could not have been any better timed. As I booted up my copy of the game for the first time at 11pm Thursday night (which is when it was available in my time zone), I do not exaggerate when I say that I completely forgot every single one of the troubles and stresses in my life for a good two hours, until I was finally forced to get a bit of sleep (three hours to be exact), and now here I am, getting right back into it.
The pure bliss I experienced as I played this gorgeous work of modern art was euphoric. And I'm gonna chase that feeling. All weekend. And probably for the rest of my life, not gonna lie.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is here and so is the end of our real social lives. SD Gundam G Generation Cross Rays continues to entertain and a slew of new physical arrivals has once again placed Assault Android Cactus back on my playlist. eShop releases round up the week with Exit The Gungeon, Red Death and Dezatopia providing all the shooting action needed until Monday.
My game of the week is DOOM 64. If you had the original Nintendo 64 cartridge you will probably be extremely pleased that we are able to finally see everything without the need to put the TV brightness up to 100%.

I've never really been that into Animal Crossing, so I'll be in the small minority of people who won't be spending our collective self-isolation on the warm sands of New Horizons. Instead, I'll be having another playthrough of the brilliant and underrated DOOM 64. Who wouldn't want to stave off boredom with a good session of demon slaying?
My eldest son is still obsessed with Fortnite (like most kids his age) so I'll also be helping him complete the latest challenges for Season 2. Honestly, the things we dads do to keep our children happy. I've also been replaying The Banner Saga because I had a hankering for some turn-based battling. Can't say my tastes aren't eclectic! Stay safe, everyone!

I'd like to say Hyper Light Drifter. I've been enjoying that game and its wordless narrative a lot recently. The way it just leaves the player to poke around and get on with it is refreshing, and it has that NES Zelda-like spirit of exploration where so many games spell everything out for you. It's good.
Nuts to Hyper Light Drifter, though. It's Animal Crossing, innit.
Ollie Reynolds, reviewer
This weekend, I'll be doing what pretty much everyone else is doing and starting my new desert island getaway with Animal Crossing: New Horizons. I'm so glad it's here, and I'm sure everyone would agree that its timing during such a troublesome period of our lives is much appreciated.
I'll also be booting up DOOM 64 at some point, if I can tear myself from Tom Nook's iron grip! I'll be getting DOOM Eternal at a later date - there's only so much you can possibly play in one go!
As always, thanks for reading! Make sure to leave a vote in the poll above and a comment below with your gaming choices over the next few days...

1. Divinity Original Sin 2 on Switch!
2. TMNT on NES.
3. Animal Crossing New Leaf
I am in the mood for Dragon Quest Builders 2 PS4, my the BEST PS4 game i have ever played. 😀

I think i will continue again tonight.
Funny I got stung by a wasp too. Lol But yeah I'm playing Animal Crossing NH and Captain Toad Treasure Tracker this weekend and most likely the rest of the week too.
Mostly Animal Crossing at the moment and Maitetsu: Pure Station. Squeezing in a bit of Groove Coaster and Exit the Gungeon too.
Playing Pillars of Eternity. Great game for the long hours indoors but maybe a bit too bleak given the circumstances.
I bought Animal Crossing digitally and enjoy it a lot.
Apart from that I still have to continue Murder By Numbers and also finish the Trials of Mana demo (which makes me sooooo nostalgic!).
Lots of Animal Crossing for me, Blathers has shown up and now I'm waiting for him to fully open his museum and I've been able to explore a little bit more of my island, I'm absolutely loving this game. In between I'll also be playing some of the excellent Doom 64
Mostly Animal Crossing.
Three Houses. Not buying Animal Crossing. Gosh, seeing all this Animal Crossing coverage, I wish it were BoTW2 which released this weekend and we'd get hyped about the epic scenery.
@Anti-Matter, it's a great game, but I liked Builders 1 better. The social aspect of this game (residents start building the biggest structures) is something I didn't like. It takes away the control and accomplishment from me.
Already chilling on Animal Crossing
Planning to play Mario Kart 8, as I've had was in the mood to play it all week, and Pikuniku as I started that last night. Also want to try to play some PC games, but not sure which ones yet as I have a couple I'm in the mood for.
I'm going to chip away at SMT IV on 3DS., Finish up Just Cause and Castlevania LoS on Xbox One, and play some Enter the Gungeon on Switch.
Already in debt to that cute Animal crossing loan shark, awesome looking game and the Nook phone is pretty cool.
I got Animal Crossing: New Horizons for my wife yesterday. Her birthday was recently, and she asked me to hold off on getting her a gift to get this, since New Leaf is her all time favourite game. She's absolutely loving the game so far.
I finished Link's Awakening last weekend and I'm super happy with how the whole thing turned out, since I wasnt a fan of the original title. I just found that the remake had visuals that made it much easier to distinguish so I knew where to go. I really didnt get lost that often. I'm now playing Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack. It's a cute first game from Drinkbox Studios. Nothing mindblowing, but still fun enough. The sense of humour they have in the signs in the background is probably the highlight of it to me.
I'm also loading up on some games on sale and an upcoming game as my last frequent purchases since I can't obtain anymore eshop cards due to self isolating. I grabbed Ultimate Chicken Horse, Rogue Aces, and I pre-purchased Moving Out (The demo of Moving Out was insanely fun, and gave my wife and I real Overcooked vibes). I've still got 6 bucks sitting in my eshop account. Maybe I'll pick something else up on the cheap.
A mixture of Animal Crossing and Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night for me.
Smash Bros and just been playing the Trials of Mana demo. Man love that game, cant wait for it to come out.
Octopath Traveler,
Asphalt 9,
Link-a-pix Deluxe,
My wife has Animal Crossing: New Horizons and as the school here has now closed is escaping to her island as often as possible.
Continuing with Daemon X Machina on the Switch front and more Halo (MCC and 5) on the XB1 front taking advantage of double XP bonus.
Animal Crossing and DOOM 64.
I had never realized back in the 64 days that DOOM 64 was an original game, I always thought it was just a port of DOOM. Going back to replay the original DOOM games on switch was great, but having a "new" classic DOOM game to play is amazing
Xenoblade 2 still hoards a lot of my gaming time, so I expect to dedicate it a couple hours even despite my eShop sale spree the other day (including stuff like Thea, Air Conflicts and Whispering Willows). To my surprise, I even ended up affording Langrisser dilogy this soon after all, although the promise of minor save file bonuses still keeps me from deleting the earlier demo. But I already mentioned last week that my itch for Langrisser is also at odds with the recent focus on Fire Emblem franchise among tactical RPGs - and the latter is still strong as I find myself in the prologue chapters of New Mystery right in the wake of finishing Shadow Dragon. Incidentally, I'm already glad to see Chris (aka "My Unit") sports her own personality and dialogues in the game; as long as those feature, I don't mind custom protagonists even if I still prefer the RPG stories to offer their own at the end of the day.
Wii fit U. It’s been a while
Due to be someone in the 'high risk' group I am at home for two weeks (but only because my boss sent me home) so i will have plenty of gaming time.
So far I haven't bought Animal Crossing mainly because I feel I was too quick to jump and buy Rune Factory 4 only to find I can't really get into it yet as I feel a bit overwhelmed by everything so I'm holding off for now.
So I will be playing 1,Stardew Valley 2,My Time In Portia 3,Trails Of Cold Steel 2 and 4,Jedi Fallen Order.
Keep safe everyone.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons for me with some Xenoblade Chronicles 2 in between fretting for my life. Good times.
@Anti-Matter You reminded me I still have to get back to that game at some point.Finished the main story mode after 96 hours...absolutely fantastic game!
Animal Crossing hasn't arrived yet. I've turned to playing amiibo Festival. That's how desperate I am.
Animal Crossing is excellent and it easily fits in around other things I'm doing. I can easily see this taking up most of my time this weekend. I'll be filling in any gaps with Doom 64.
This week I will be mostly playing
Final Fantasy 7
Pokémon Diamond
I’ve been playing doom 64 and Witcher 3 on switch. On Xbox One X I’m playing borderlands 3 and Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order
@Matthew010
I have Amiibo Festival too. 😀
I played the game alone and take control all Players with some of my Amiibo figurines, so win or lose doesn't matter since every Happy points after playing will be accumulated for each character and will unlock their second outfits and emotions.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons on Switch and Doom Eternal on PC 😊
@Wazeddie22

I want to ask about Dragon Quest Builders 1 PS4.
I saw there is an Europe version with Day One Edition. It said all Exclusive contents already inside the disc.
Is that true or the contents is a redeem code ?
Is there any DLC stuffs again from DQB1 PS4 ?
I finished DQ11 this week so I am ready for AC:NH!!
Witcher. A few more strawbs in Celeste. Witcher. Rocket League. Witcher.
I finished dragon quest XI during the week just in time to start animal crossing. Once I get things going on the island of motavia I will be be starting astral chain too.
Just bought final fantasy 8 on sale. Loved it back in the day. Hoping to complete the game without the use of cards if that's possible.
Duh!
P.S La-Mulana 1&2 and Doom 64.
I’m playing prince of persia 08 at the moment and when I’m finished I’ll start with brütal legend afterwards and remember me after that.
@Anti-Matter unfortunately from what I remember it was a redeem code voucher inside.
Unlike the sequel I don't think it had dlc but I could be wrong.
Doom Eternal for me, hopefully.
Just gotta brave the pandemic to get my pre-order first...
Probably Zelda BotW and Megaman Zero/ZX Legacy Collection. I may also continue Paper Mario TTYD since I left it right after clearing Chapter 4, where the people were being transformed into pigs. Oh, and I also have to continue Yooka-Laylee and The Impossible Lair.
I am late to stardew valley brought the game and never play it until last week to the new animal crossing NH, now I'm mixing the both up stardew valley + animal crossing NH= amazing farming stimulation. And I'm new to these types of games. Can't say it's the best but it's definitely needs playing as i can pick up and play at anytime.
However, i find stardew valley more challenging.
I'll be playing Animal Crossing New Horizons and Doom Eternal
Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Doom Eternal
Well AC of course but for the others i got Hatsune miku ,luigi mansion 3 ,mobiel Nintendo games , cafe story and likely an rpg
@Pazuzu666 have you been playing La Mulana? How is it? I’ve had my eye on the second one.
@GregamanX I also preordered Moving Out After that demo. My wife and I were laughing pretty hard! I wish that there was an online multiplayer like Overcooked 2 but overall I liked it!
I decided to do another round of BoTW.....I haven't played it since I beat Ganon almost 3 years ago so I forgot quite a bit. I also need to finish earthlock and work on Octotraveler but maybe those wait a few more weeks
I’ve been mostly playing Persona 4 Arena (PS3) this week. Working my way through the story chapters and completing everyone’s arcade campaigns.
I picked it up cheap at my local CEX on a whim a couple of months back but it’s turning into one of my favourite fighting games.
Probably because I love Persona, and mostly playing fighting games and visual novels at the moment. It ticks all the boxes!
On Switch whilst everyone else is playing Animal Crossing to get away from it all, I’ve just downloaded The Walking Dead (Telltale Season 1).
Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem Three Houses. Good times!
Dead Cells - I just had a great run the other day and acquired the Ram Rune and the Spider Rune, which has unlocked so many new areas and extended my runs significantly. I've been loving the game since its release but never got very far in it. Now I'm getting to the Throne Room, and this weekend I hope to find out what other features I've been missing.
Ring Fit Adventure - I haven't played in five or six days as I've been feeling lazy and demotivated. Got to get back to it today and do some self-maintenance.
Dragon Quest XI - about to launch a counterstrike on the forces of darkness, and hopefully find my friends, because playing as just the Luminary is booooring.
@Mamabear a little while now for La-Mulana 2. I played La-Mulana first on Wii so skipped right to part 2 on Switch. These are great games. Highly recommended. My only caveat is both are VERY unforgiving.
This weekend i will be playing Dark Souls Remastered, Kingdom Hearts Final Mix and possibly some Pokémon Emerald
Finally finishing Advance Wars: Days of Ruin campaign fter 12 years! Then some Final Fantasy 7.
Today at least, probably not going to play much of anything. Going to have a spring-clean, reorganise my games and update my backloggery to reflect games I have recently. After that, I have the whole week off so I can play whatever. I will probably continue Ni No Kuni as I dipped in last weekend for a couple of hours.
1 - Warframe - the most played game on my switch
2 - Doom 2016 (may be) - just re-downloaded it, because despite my expectations never got to finish it on my PC and never will (haven't played on PC for about a year now)
3 - Warframe - it's double affinity weekend after all
Will be playing SotN and Metroid Fusion. My New Horizons pre order got delayed:(
Animal Crossing: New Horizons has finished downloading. Maybe Doom 64 but I’ve got next week to try it out. No rush now 😀. No rush for a while.
Yup, definitely playing Animal Crossing on Switch.
I'm very thankful that the postman delivered yesterday, playing ACNH of course!
Langrisser 1/2 collection is the main game I'm playing, enjoying that one way more than I though I would, the soundtrack so good. Animal Crossing is present as well as something I'm going to play approx 20-30 min a day for the foreseeable future.
Mario Maker 2 and finishing Doom 2016 on PC.
@Benjoo just splurged on FF VII, VIII and IX. No idea when I'll find time to play them though with the state of my growing backlog.
@monterxz Warframe is such an underrated gem. I played it on PS4 and Switch, but it's such a time sink I decided to stop playing so that I could find time to play other games.
@Steelhead oh cool which one are you starting With? When you get around to playing them
After hours of begging, my wife let me buy AC:NH. I am loving it so far. Also, some Three Houses. In a crazy turn of events, my wife started playing our daughter's account on New Horizons and got hooked. We bought her a copy on her Switch!
Animal crossing new horizons, doom 64, minecraft.
Maybe also start playing zelda awakening that i bought recently.
I really need to work on my book, but Animal Crossing has been hard to put down.
Finished darksiders 2 last night. So now it's Owlboy, and doom 64. I'm also going to fire up ff7 for the first time 😊
Also playing the trials of mana demo
I will not be playing animal crossing or Pokémon. Not my cup of tea. Waiting for more Zelda or Mario, even if they are remasters. Now playing Assassins Creed Rogue on Switch
I be playing between Pokemon Ultra moon, as have not completed it yet and Pokemon Sword been trying to farm a shiny litten, 25 boxes full of littens and 1 box nearly full of 6iv ones. Been stressing me out, so i switch back to Ultra moon. Will pick up Animal crossing on payday this month on the 31st.
AC all the way. Maybe some Mario Maker 2 if I have time.
I’m playing a mixture of Animal Crossing and Stellaris on PC.
I’m going to bite the bullet and get Animal Crossing even though I don’t really have the money. I’ve had a week of worrying health concerns (not Coronavirus ahah) and job troubles so a cheery little escapist fantasy is what I need.
Will also play Runbow with my partner.
Trying to keep up with the kiddos somewhat in Animal Crossing, but also have to get out in the sunshine and pick up deadwood and leaves in the yard. It’s relieving somehow that spring and the birds are here all the same, despite humanity and all our troubles at the moment.
Funnily enough some of my weekend has freed up, though I'm still keeping a pre-scheduled routine appointment in a little while. I'll probably hit a few stops in Pokemon Go on the way home; there's a park where I plan to stretch my legs a little.
I'm not one for Animal Crossing, but I will have an island getaway in the form of Link's Awakening on the Switch. I'm really enjoying my time with it so far; it's such a beautiful game, the perfect mix of the new and the nostalgic.
On the 3DS, I've been working my way through the zany, bite-sized microgames in WarioWare Gold's story mode. I haven't played many of the previous titles outside of the original WarioWare Inc. (via the Wii U VC), WarioWare Touched!, and Game & Wario, so some of what's on offer here is very new to me.
Have a great weekend all! Stay safe!
@Benjoo either 7, which I started on PS3 but then Mass Effect 3 came out any I just never went back to it, or 9 which I've always wanted to play.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons and DOOM 64. Hours and hours of those two games, I expect.
Happy for those of you who enjoy animal crossing. Not my cup of tea though. I'll be playing Bulletstorm and River City Girls.
Call me crazy, im going to wait for a sale to purchase Animal Crossing. Instead Im playing Saints Row 3.
I have just gotten into the Witcher 3, and animal crossing comes out at the perfect time to play it’s foil.
But I’m not in the same situation as most people. I work in a grocery store and if I can say this without setting off the censors - it’s hell. We are stocking shelves and running out as soon as we’ve stocked. I’m so busy all the time. But the company knows that it’s more stressful than ever so they’ve raised over time to an insane rate that I couldn’t NOT go work all the time... right? sigh
MHGU for me still. so many games to still play or finish but for some reason i keep getting sucked into monster hunter. Ah well, as all the other games i still need to finish are time sinks as Well (Witcher, DQXI, DQB2 , divinity OS2) i have held off of Buying AC NH for now. But i’ll get it soon most likely because i know how i am . Stay safe all and happy gaming!
For the first time in a loooong time I've got three games on the go at the moment so I'll be splitting my time between:
Animal Crossings: New Horizons
Star Wars - Jedi: Fallen Order
Ring Fit Adventure
Super Smash Bros. (N64) - Finally going to complete this, so working on unlocking Captain Falcon.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3D (3DS) - I literally just started this and just took control of Shulk.
Assassin's Creed: Altair's Chronicles HD (Windows Phone) - Getting more used to the controls.
I am absolutely absorbed in The Witcher 3 at the moment - and have to spend nearly three hours on trains tomorrow, so I fully expect my launch Switch to run out of battery within the first two hours. Nobody sit near me, OK? I’m not infected - but I might be grumpy.
If you are still looking for a game for the weekend, Pikuniku can be bought for 1€ right now, which is an absolute steal.
With all this hype about animal crossing atm I’m playing... links awakening!
Animal Crossing New Horizons, Animal Crossing New Leaf, and Animal Crossing Pocket Camp. Oh, and Ring Fit Adventure.
Got Dragon Quest XI as a birthday present; loved the demo so I'm really excited to get into the game proper.
Ni No Kuni on switch, Ori and the blind forest on xbox..
Animal Crossing for me! Yahoo!
AC, Doom 64, and some Warframe for me. Maybe some Halo on PC too. We shall see. Working insane hours right now, and under a lot of stress. Bren gaming more than normal to blow off some steam, when time allows.
Animal Crossing like everyone else. Also need to get back into DQ XI and just downloaded Child of Light off my wish list. Also still trying to work through Tokyo Mirage Sessions and a few other eshop games that I have in my backlog
DOOM64!!! That’s all I’m playing
I'm playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons!
Hopefully I'll be finishing Link's Awakening then moving on to Assassin's Creed Rebel Collection. Have a good weekend!
Spent the day completing pikuniku in one go, good game can’t complain with the price at mo but don’t think will need to play again. Played 4 levels of doom 64 and good fun like the puzzle maze like structure. Would have liked the shotgun to have the reload animation like the first 2 dooms. I wonder why they took it out? Have not seen any info why but hey that’s nitpicking. X x x x really tempted to get collection of mana at half price x x x x the hell with it I’m going to download now! X x x x please stay safe everyone and stay strong x x x x x x x x
I have a diverse list this weekend (I doubt I will have time for all of it though)
1. Mario Picross
2. Shakedown Hawaii (LOVE this game)
3. Golden Sun: Dark Dawn
4. Metal Gear Solid 3d
i would be playing animal crossing but i cant since gamestop closed its doors because of the emergency order in my state because of the virus plus i had the game fully paid off too.
Got Plenty Backlogs to catch on as well as 3DS games. As for ACNH I will get mine on Monday delivered and can wait to play it. This is one reason I gone with Delivery for my games except those that I have to pickup otherwise your PreOrder will be stuck if they close or shutters for unknown time.
Animal Crossing, Doom Eternal, and Doom 64 for me!
Animal Crossing is all I will be playing this weekend. I love the game so much.
Modern Warfare on the Xbox One and possibly getting back into Diablo 3
Life sim’ing my life away during these trying times with Animal Crossing: New Horizons on Switch and Viva Piñata via Rare Replay on Xbox One.
Have a great weekend and stay safe and healthy everyone!
Oh god, my character won't go to sleep, it's annoying asf, I've built my house and such but every time I go to bed nothing happens, tried this at 6 pm-7 pm-8 pm and nothing happens :s
doom 64, pokemon shield and resident evil 3 demo
Doom 64, Animal Crossing NH, and Megaman Zero/ZX LC!!!
@Guitar_bard How well does Metal Gear Solid 3d play on the 3ds ?
Doom Eternal on PC
@Paul1994
I have a new 3ds xl, and it plays great on it, due to the right c stick. If you don't have that or a circle pad pro, it would be doable, but it would a bit more difficult.
It's a great game though! This system still amazes me at what it has been able to pull off
Played a lot of Dezatopia so far, it's great, really up there with the best new shmups this generation, which are Rolling Gunner and Radirgy Swag imo.
I'm really curious what NL will write about Dezatopia and Radirgy Swag.
@Steelhead yeah, i still have several games that i never even started but i still play warframe, because it has so much to offer and i haven't got bored yet.
I'm playing "Why the hell is this pc game not working".
It's great fun.
@KitsuneNight, I was playing this game on my laptop more than year ago, but stopped since got my switch
@monterxz
Sadly I can't do that i got 1025 Steam games.
The game i'm struggling with is Tomb Raider Legend, it just crashes on boot.
@Rebusmind Good for you. Honestly. These people hanging out by the dozens in line to get a physical game during this crisis amaze me. Should put it on their tombstone: "Sacrificed everything for a video game." Or worse they make an at risk family member ill.
Animal Crossing NH on Switch, Doom Eternal on PS4, Trails in the Sky SC on Steam.
Doom 64, I’m absolutely loving it, fantastic game. I’m probably going to try and track down the cart for my N64 collection.
Gaming SOS: at the worst time my Switch seems to have bricked. I left it charging in sleep mode, and when I returned the backlight was on and it was hot. I pushed the power button and it went dark and has yet to recover (going on 48 hours). I tried the hard reset and nothing. Any thoughts?
Don't get my Switch for a couple more weeks. I might play some Fantasy Life or Ever Oasis on my 3ds. I was glad those came out on 3ds, but I would be ecstatic if both of them were ported to the Switch!
@thehoppypoppy Did you just buy a Switch or is it in for repairs?
@Mainsaile I pre-ordered a coral pink switch lite. It's not out until early April (at least I hope it's still early April).
Witcher 3
Tetris 99
Shinobi from Sega Ages
Animal Crossing: New Horizons and a little Splatoon 2 to mix things up.
Pikuniku is currently 89p on the Switch eShop, so I’ve just bought it, twice, for my son and my nephew, they’re having a great time here sitting playing it on their respective Switch! #StayHomeStaySafe
@thehoppypoppy enjoy your Switch when you get it!
@AmplifyMJ Thank you, I will! 😁
Assassins Creed Black Flag from the Rebel Collection. I’m absolutely hooked on this game and is a break from the equally addictive Okami HD.
Will also dip into Mario Odyssey as I’m on the final world and would like to beat it this weekend.
Animals that cross mostly. Finish Touryst, bit of Witcher, second run through odyssey and some shmups
Animal crossing for me.
I am having so much freaking fun playing Doom Eternal. Goddamn is this game ever hard but man is it so much fun. It is incredibly easy to die enemies will kill you in seconds. I vaguely remember playing Doom on PS4 and Xbox One and then on switch never finished it though. The sequel in my opinion freaking blows the original away. If you're not constantly moving and playing strategically and making the best use out of your tools and weapon mods, farming Health ammo and armor and Staggering enemies by hitting their weak points this game will murder you. But there's also tons of customization (character, enemies, weapon skins, weapons, abilities) , you can find cheat codes to use, collectibles, secrets, lore to read. There's so much to find and do in this game. Right now my Switch is in the pawn shop till next weekend then I'll have Animal Crossing but had to skip it this week because there wasn't enough to get the PS4 and Switch out and both games. However, for my BD weekend I wanted a fun ass game to play. But take it from me if you have a PS4 or an Xbox One or a decent PC and like challenging games, get Doom Eternal.
Doom Eternal on PS4
Mega Man 11 on Switch
If anybody is wondering, the problem has been resolved
after:
Googeling the issue,
Looking for patches,
Reinstalling it several times from disc,
Installing the Steam version,
Moving the install folders,
More patches,
Had a fight with Avast, uninstalled it and reinstalled it.
And in the end, I dug up my XP machine.
And it runs fine on that.
...bloody pc gaming.
@gamereternal
Hate to be THAT pillock but original Doom is 1993 Doom.
Stupid question. Animal Crossing of course!
@Guitar_bard Thanks for letting me know, have to pick it up, be nice to play it handheld, love the series, cant believe i did not know it was on the 3ds. Enjoy !
Doom 3 on switch,
Every bodys golf VR on PSVR
Since Animal Crossing is sold out everywhere, I stick to the 3DS version. Also plan on playing New Super Lucky Tail, Fortnite and Freecell.
Plenty of games on the go at the moment. Lots of time at home over the next few weeks. Stay safe people:
Fire Emblem Three Houses (Switch)
Devil May Cry 3 (Switch)
Resident Evil 2 (Xbox One)
Doom Eternal (Xbox One)
Hoping we might get Nintendo Direct this week but not really expecting one
AC: new horizons together with my little six year old. Also playing some Witcher 3, doing both DLC and wrapping up some secondary quests. Just finished the main story.
I've been enjoying my time with DOOM 2016 (gotta finish it before jumping into Eternal), Max Payne 2 and of course the new Animal Crossing! (Almost all of my gaming friends bought it too, and some were even converted into buying the system for it!)
I'm playing something that hasn't seem to been discovered yet. New Nintendo 3ds only "Silver Falls: 3 down stars". It's a brand new game available in eShop. The game has gone unnoticed due to a mistakenly broken version being accidently released, then reviewed, and trashed. Version 1.2 is out now worldwide and is completely different than any review says. If you enjoyed resident evil Revelations on 3ds or silent Hill from previous consoles this game will not disappoint. Look at YouTube video n make sure it's version 1.2 and you'll see game that deserves another look.
Doom 64 and Octopath, and also started playing Ring Fit Adventure this weekend. Did two sessions, one Saturday and one Sunday. So very sore today.
