Another month, another sale from Kemco. It's a tradition at this point.
Yes, the Japanese publisher and developer is back with another round of discounts across the Switch and 3DS eShops. Eleven RPGs are available in the sale in total, and while Kemco's mass-produced lineup of role-playing adventures aren't usually considered the best, this is a very decent way to stock up on a bunch of different games if you're a super fan of the genre.

Are those Kemco games good? I like RPG but I never play those games.
Someday, when I've got through the things I really want to play, I'm going to pick up one of these Kemco titles and see what they're really like. They look horribly generic from the outside but I've heard that some of them aren't that bad.
@Geobros From what I've heard, you get what you pay for. They're not classics but they'll fill up time if you just want a simple JPRG to slog through, though this is all apparent from reviews so I'm not talking from experience.
Which one is the one from the header? That o e doesn't look half bad.

@Daniel36 I was wondering the same thing myself. It's from Alphadia Genesis.

As traditional as you producing an article specifically to report this.
Eyeing Frane in particular yet again, although chances are it'll get elbowed aside yet again - with the discount expiring when it does, I won't be able to assign it to early November expenses, and there's estimatedly too much in the current bargain bin to squeeze it in (especially when it would compete there with offers like BlazBlue CENTRALFICTION for the same price). But time will tell.
@Geobros "so okay, it's average" is the worst accusation you can realistically throw at them, but they're standard genre fare Kemco has dutifully crafted since NES days - rarely groundbreaking but consistently neat across the board. If you enjoyed SNES and GBA JRPGs, including the ones outside the handful of usual limelight suspects, chances are you'll have your fair share of fun here as well. There's a reason pretty much all of them inhabit my wishlist, even though I've only tried Chronus Arc on 3DS to date.
Never heard of these games
Any suggestions?
Haven't heard of a single one of these before. Weird.
I'm so proud to never have bought a Kemco game ever.
Another week, another Kemco sale. Nothing new, move along.
Anyone know what a 3DS is? I don’t 😉
@gloom They are little doritos that are puffed up and are very good. They are not that common anymore but were great while they lasted.🔺️🔻🔺️
Wow, what a surprise: kemko games on sale 😆😆😆
@Geobros could be hit or miss but I just finished Ruinverse and I got that on sale. Sale price or not. It is the best game I've played from them. I really got into it. I recommend that one. Asdivibe Hearts is really good but not as graphically as impressive as Ruinverse and I didn't like that there is no "teleport to a previous town" feature. But the game is good.
I also liked Legend of Tetrach. I did not like Monster Viator. In fact I didn't even bother trying, and if Dragon Sinker is a Kemco game, that kinda stunk..
@Erigen Your loss. Ruinverse is a great old school rpg. They're are some really good ones.
Did everyone just come here to rag on kemco games? Lemme try...kemco, more like kem-NO. OH YEAH! Dad zingers!
Hmmm, Kemco you say..... How about no?
Always find it bizarre that we seem to get an article about a Kemco sale approximately every six hours (give or take) but only one of the Switch games has even been reviewed on here.
Wake me up when they revive at least one of the following: Lufia, Golden Sun, Skies of Arcadia & Grandia.
Edit: Not Kemco of course, but their respective licence holders / developers.
@sikthvash Uhhhhhh wasn't Grandia re-released last year?
@Daniel36 Yes! No harm in wanting more though right?! ^_^ I'm talking about a new entry. One can dream...
@sikthvash Oh right. Don't think a new entry will ever happen. Shame, some games really deserve more.
@Daniel36 yeh, sad times =0(
Kind of weird they only ever post articles about Kemco 3ds sales. There are still sales on the 3ds eshop from time to time. I mean, all the ace attorney games are on sale in the 3ds eshop right now. If you’re looking for good 3ds sales, check those out.
As a guy who loves RPGS they look ok. 🤔
Kemco guys, just permanently decrease the prices of the games. Lol
Kemco, NIS & pQube are 3 publishers/developers that i know immediately are involved when looking at a game in the eShop (switch & 3ds), & also know immediately to back out & keep looking, cuz there's never been a game their name is on that i haven't regretted buying, or would ever play again (even for free).
@gloom it's an ancient handheld console that was amazing for actual gamers, especially ones who appreciate 3D, but since casual gamers didn't like it, it was abandoned & lost to history forever, so only legends of it remain.
