Re: Japanese Charts: Momotaro Dentetsu Beats Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity To Number One

@Parmandur
As I started off I agreed with them, and understood what they meant. It may be a silly attitude, however in that long winded post, I was simply pointing out great sales = games for us = happy gamer. That's all. Microsoft/Sony fans never really worried about that aside from console exclusives. As far as G9 goes, it's the beginning of their life cycles. Of course most of the games aren't stunning exclusive material as the transition period happens, but I will be getting a ps5 once things settle down, and you can see one on the shelf in a store consistently.

I understand what you're saying. I just think overall, if you're a fan of Nintendo, you feel very underdog when it's usually a xbox/playstation world out there already. On forums unrelated to Nintendo you rarely see anyone chime up about Nintendo, so it's still nice, even with the Switch showing that it's chugging well along, to see that. It's kind of an, I'm very proud of my child, moment to railway on after being completely bottom tier for so long. It's success can only mean more games for us to continue to enjoy, unlike the games shortages of the wii U cycle. Not really a dismissal of the stock shortages the other consoles are having. Those consoles are bound to get games no matter the sales they have in the long run because they are definitely the more popular, more powerful brands developers are gunning for. Whereas for Nintendo, we are always hearing it has to sale well before we even get xyz. Plus, Switch had shortages in its first year and then again this year thanks to the virus putting a damper on things, so shortages are just par for the course for everyone really.

Re: What's Up With The Frame Rate In The Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity Demo?

Sad part is, this probably shot them in the foot instead of building up hype ala Daemon x Machina. I'm still going to pick it up. A bad game is...usually better at some point in this patch on patch gaming world we live in, and I still want to experience this game for myself. I don't think dropping framerates is the end of the world anyway.

Re: Retro's Hiring Spree Continues As It Recruits Veteran GTA Producer

Gosh dang it people. I'm sure Nintendo realizes what kind of mess they brew when they show us a title screen to sate our gaming appetite, buuut then low and behold the project gets scrapped to be restarted again. Things happen, but the most important thing is health and quality. Health of the team and the ability for them to be in a space where they can deliver a quality game. Two years down the line, five years down the line. Yeah, sure now we know about it, can't wait to get our hands on it, but at this point it's probably best to just pretend we don't. It's pretty much the same concept of any game we wouldn't know anything about until closer to release especially since in this case, development had restarted.

I'm still okay with this. Plenty okay with this. I never played Sunshine and all summer long I was thinking of purchasing a Gamecube copy which, by itself in this present time, sits a little over 60 dollars alone used. 20 dollars each for the games in this collection, emulated or not, is fine for one such as me who can't wait to finally get the chance to play Sunshine on what is becoming my favorite system ever.

Re: Animal Crossing Glitch Prevents Players From Walking Across Their Zen Bridges

@Northwind
As far as how I personally feel in regards to both, I have to say that at least what makes the bugs in animal crossing easier to deal with over any that comes into Swsh is simply that, as of currently, every update coming to Animal Crossing is free and it's an obvious upgrade to the last game we had on 3ds. The base game for Swsh felt lacking, then paying for additional content and Home is...sigh, so when you consider all the charges to fully enjoy SwSh you'd think they would make sure this game stays up to snuff at a higher rate. It should be more expected than a developer giving updates for free.

Re: Animal Crossing Appears To Have Nerfed Tarantula And Scorpion Spawn Rates

Point of my original post is that basically the ONLY people this affects is nontimetravelers. Everyone else is already rolling in riches and basically completed up to all the invisible gates nintendo put in place in a game that kind of feels a step behind New Leaf already just because they want to control how far people progress for some reason beyond my knowledge. When my friends come to my Horizons island thats...about it. No more visiting Tortimer and playing fun little minigames. Its like being punished which takes away the fun only. And i really was enjoying this game and having so many peacock butterflies flying around.

Re: Video: Animal Crossing amiibo Are Selling For More Than The Game Itself

Desa

These prices will only go down if Nintendo release more of them. I've been on Animal Crossing forums since the beginning of New Leaf and popular villagers used to sell for a pretty penny of bells which have since turned into bartering them for NMT, and of course these Amiibo cards. So yeah, they will only get higher not lower. Should have bought more before the game released.

Re: You Can't Access Seasonal Events In Animal Crossing: New Horizons By Time Travelling

Desa

I'm not sure I fully understand how it would play out. Like is this just a one time only check after the events occur the first time and then we can view them as we wish or is this something that has to be checked every year? Because if its an every year update this game has less longevity in the event department than the other animal crossing games if they just stop doing this sometime down the line.
