Erm...Is there much point of releasing a Xmas game after Xmas?
Wow, that's a lot of garbage games. Switch gets tons of new games each week, but usually one or two are actually worth playing.
Nothing for me since I got some games during Christmas. Still patiently waiting for Cyber Shadow to be available on the eShop to pre-purchase.
@Dman10 Not gonna get much good releasing between Christmas and New Years so it's not too surprising. There is at least one quality title in Deemo -Reborn- though.
Still waiting on that Turrican collection that never came
That’s really the only game I would buy right now despite the backlog taking in massive proportions again over these last few weeks. At least until Ghosts & Goblins comes out
It's definitely a meh week and that's actually a good thing. I can breathe a sigh of relief there's no temptation to add to my as good as a decade long's worth of a backlog. n.n;
If people get gift cards for the E shop for X-Mas. You'd think it would be a good idea to keep your games discounted longer. Giving them time to spend them.
Definitely nothing for me this week. Though I tried the CTR trial. It’s not a patch on MK8D. Nowhere near. Deleted.
@Faucet On the flip side, there'll be a lot of new Switch owners that might be tempted to buy games that grab their interest at full price. Having a heavy sale pre-Christmas, to get onto the eShop charts and then reverting back to full price is probably a good strategy.
@Dman10 Sadly, the pandemic is completely causing that!
To anyone who is a fan of the old 8-bit Dizzy games. FUZE has Fast Food Dizzy as one of the games
FUZE Player sounds perfect. I always thought Petit Computer would benefit from selling a player for those that just wanted to play the games, but had no interest in coding their own game.
Even Super Mario Maker 2 could sell a $20-30 player with the Maker tools as DLC.
Nothing for me outside of that free trial of the Crash Bandicoot racing game.
@The_Pixel_King It's not even a patch on Team Sonic Racing... You don't even race in teams?! And the drifting is just awful.
Why is CTR so blehhhhhhh
I've never been so happy there's nothing that interest me lol. More time to pick up these backlogged games I want that are on sale.
@Dman10 So Gradius III is garbage? : (
I seriously tried to like Crash racing.
But i deleted it 30 minutes after.
Speed Truck Racing (the sequel to Speedway Racing) and DEEMO ain't bad. They're good budget titles for those who couldn't afford the Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered or Kingdom Hearts rhythm spinoff. Heck the Crash Team Racing remake ain't bad either for those that still couldn't afford Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and wanted a decent kart racing experience on the go.
Why doesn't the CTR Grand prix's go on a loop every month? How do you unlock the Champion cart skins? I hate games with limited time unlockables.
part of me wants to grab gradius, but between crimson clover and ikaruga, i got plenty of shmups...
not to mention, vertical shooters are so good with the flipgrip that it's hard to care about g3
Gradius5 on the other hand...just port it already!!!
I do have alot to play this week, should have not on this list on the poll.
@UmbrageHill Ya same for me here the AI sucks And once you fall back its so hard to get back in 1st, this is coming from somewon that played lots of mario kart 2 years of 7 and 1 of 8.
Should I get Immortals while it’s still on sale or plump for Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit and Spiritfarer instead? 🤔
Don't sleep on Gradius III. A stone-cold classic!
What is the difference between this deemo and the one that is already on the switch?
@NTELLIGENTMAN I did say one or two games are actually worth playing. By the way, Gradius 3 was a great game for it's time and I could never get far with the insane difficulty, not sure I want to play it again, now that my reflexes have slowed more with age.
Sooo this site has stopped with European lists altogether? I thought this was a European site?!
Anyway: If you want a European list, one that is actually complete, alphabetic, with prices and new discounts easily recognized (and you can read Dutch), visit Budgetgaming.nl
That's the place I always get my discount-information. It sometimes takes a few days, but they are always accurate. This site (Nintendolife) has just become a epic fail on this matter!!
