I'll extend the olive branch and say both versions look great, but I'll only be playing one of them.

When you can sell 152 million (and counting) Switches without a single Madden or Call of Duty, that's gonna turn some heads.

I probably played GE on the N64 more than any other game. Multi-player extended it's shelf life for years. No fight from me.

Bravely Default is sounding like a purchase to me. It was utterly charming on the DS.

I think Switch 2 ports will become commonplace this generation. Any AA(A) game seems like a likely candidate.

I get they might be distributing key cards that aren't numbered, and I'm okay with that. I'll definitely be checking out the games they put on card.

It sucks, but it isn't any different than a game that has part of the game on the card and a required download on the Switch, the way you had to do it for several 3rd party titles on the Switch.

Japan might consider just renaming their island Nintendo. It would save a lot of kanji.

Only PC handhelds have put up a fight in this space; there's no need for Nintendo to leave these blue oceans. Sony and Microsoft have given Nintendo a gift by not following.

This is just 7 million or so diehards worldwide. Sales of this overpriced garbage will drop off a cliff and Nintendo will have more returns than sales by Christmas. Everyone knows Nintendo underperforms during the holidays. I predict sales of NEGATIVE 28,000 consoles by Black Friday. God help you if you can't read sarcasm this thick.

At LEAST Steam has sales that makes digital palatable. I'm a physical junkie...that owns a Steam Deck OLED.

I hope this means good sales for Cyberpunk.

I'm still going to probably buy physical here; if it's downloaded, there's no need for being online after that.

Nintendo was wise giving the competition next to ZERO time to respond. They've got at least a two year head start on the competition (including Valve).

From one rabid IV-VI fan to another...I might give this a go.

March of 2026 they will delay it to December, but to appease investors they will announce a Switch 2 version and the internet will melt.

Stood in line at Gamestop this morning. It felt like old times! Nabbed MKW bunderuu, Cyberpunk, a 512GB card, and a Pro Controller. GET READY TO ROCK!!!

The Steam Deck is legit (especially the OLED), but discerning gamers know Switch 2 is a better gaming rig.
