You know, for something that was really pooh-poohed from the start, and going up against Steamdeck and all (surely Steamdeck will squash Nintendo, right? RIGHT?!?), it sure feels like this thing is selling out on a pretty consistent basis. Glad mine's all paid for.

This may have also factored into Nintendo's decision to stick with the current chipset for OLED model. There may have been more of these chipsets in the pipeline.

These will be among the best first person shooters on the Switch, so I will be buying physical copies of each.

It's been #1 in the overall hardware sales chart for the last 32 months here in America, too (also a GINORMOUS record). I think this system could be going places lol.

If social media would have been around back in the olden days, I'm sure Benjamin Button would have felt the same way. Just let the man age gracefully to his infancy in peace.

What I find fascinating, moving forward, is how much big 3rd parties have let indies shine on Nintendo's console, and not necessarily for their benefit. I cannot fathom how Activision and EA have not put at least ONE Call of Duty or Madden on this system. This will not tarnish their brand so much as it will diminish it; the Switch could end up at the top of the heap, looking down on the PS2 and DS when it's all over. What would those (potential) 155+ million Switch owners think of those big 3rd party names that did not grace the system?

That's just poorly worded, and clarified in other articles. Here's one,“It wasn't that unusual during the early 1990s for the Top 30 to be a combination of Famicom, Super Famicom and Game Boy games, but never just one,” Game Data Library tweeted. “This is unprecedented, it’s the first time all 30 games are from the same system after the Top 30 tracked all platforms.”

I don't think the Steam Deck is going to impede the Switch much, but it can carve out it's own space to a specific niche (Steam gamers looking for a decent portable PC gaming rig solution). Granted, "Steam gamers" are a HUGE niche, but how many of them yearn to game on the go playing compromised versions of their games?

In boxing, I always have enjoyed watching the puncher versus the boxer. A puncher is George Foreman; no matter how much you wear him down (ala the boxer), he can always end the fight with one swing. Nintendo is a puncher.

Not to sound British, but this sounds positively cheeky. If the reviews are good, I'll bite for the lulz.

I only paid $100 for mine at a pawn shop, so, yeah, $100. Watch them bundle it with Mari Kart and sel it for $199 this Christmas season. It would probably beat last year's Lite total after that.

Yeah...that reporter really had to stretch to say something negative about it. I cannot wait for mine! I mostly play indoors, anyway. Tabletop might be a more viable option now with that kickstand and bigger screen.

Best 3rd party on Switch. I've bought one of Rise, MHS 2, and The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, and they're all great. Cannot wait for a built-from-the-ground-up RE to play under the blankets on my OLED Switch!

It seems like a 16 GB game card should do the trick. I'm not too concerned, but I was ticked THPS 1&2 required a download.

It all sounds very impressive, but my eyes started glossing over halfway through the read. This list feels incomplete. How could it not include The House in Fata Morgana; a game that, as of typing this, is the ONLY game one 100 score more away from toppling Ocarina of Time as the highest scoring game on Metacritic? Technically, being 6 for 6, one could argue it laready has.

I am down with VNs in general. These days, I want to take Aaron Rogers' advice (in regards to playing video games) and R E L A X when I fire up my Switch. DOOM and Fortnite always stressed me out. I'm going the opposite direction.

It's got some slowdown here and there, but nothing has ever crashed on me (knock on wood). The fact that it's turn-based really blunts the need for exceptional 60 fps glory, and it's the COMPLETE game.

The operative word was DEDICATED.

It's still a dedicated handheld exclusive, which is the best way to power through a good JRPG.

The 360 and PS3 had GTA V. How have stockholders not howled in protest over ignoring approximately 80 million consoles?

I was going to get Immortals for my 8 year old for fiddy bones at Wal-Mart. THRILLED to snap it up for 39.00. My 8 year old poured 150 hours into BOTW. He's gonna eat this up.

I have an Xbox One X version, but I'll put more time into this one BECAUSE of its portability. Chew on that, haters.

I must be off...because I think the screenshots look just fine? I'm definitely jumping in.

I, for one, will not be parting with my money for what is essentially a fart in the wind, no matter how epic that fart might be.

Why is this still a surprise? And where is our 360 port of GTA V? These questions will never get a satisfactory answer.

I'm just not going to entertain the notion it's ever going to happen unless it's in my hands. Still, it's pretty cool to see 'Xbox Game Studios' pop up every time I play Will O' the Wisps.
