It depends. Does Nintendo like money? Did Nintendo just pour massive amounts of money into extending Switch's games output for an additional 3 or 4 years? Has Nintendo held the usual sales-juicing cards closely to their chest, like price cuts, bundles, and pretty colors/limited editions? If you (wisely) answered yes to all those questions, then you have to know the historic positions of the PS2 and DS are in jeopardy.

Well, Game Pass just landed a lunker by the name of Mass Effect: Legendary Edition. I have maybe put two or three hours into Mass Effect. I can feel this game warping my sense of time; 3 hours feels like 30 minutes. So I don't think I'll be playing anything else and POOF the weekend will be gone.

I did the 80% option, because if Pokemon Arceus somehow becomes the next Pokemon of the Wild with Animal Crossing sales numbers, then Nintendo might hold off until March of next year.

Crazy Taxi shouldn't have gone to the N64. It would've looked like $#!+.

I'm not dismissing out of hand a Switch release because of leaked achievements on the Xbox. It would seem to be a clickbait article intended to trigger us, and it seems to have worked.

One can easily conclude Nintendo dominated 2021 by compiling worldwide sales numbers, and these also indicate it. If chip shortages continue this year, then they will do it again.

I think I'm gonna have to dive in to Shin Megami Tensei V. I'm pretty sure the Fall of Man edition is wrapped up under my tree. That, or it's a giant bottle of liquor.

Nintendo is flexing.

Devolver is right up there as one of my favorite publishers. How do they continue to keep cranking such high quality products? Also, they always have the best showing at E3 every year.

I think fate has put Nintendo in a most envious position in the video game sector. Fate has given them time to let portable technologies mature and evolve. They can ride the Switch and the OLED out another three years before revealing their next console. The chip shortage has made the PS5 and the Xbox Series X objects of myth, and while it has also hindered Switch production, Nintendo was not in a position where they were trying to establish a new player base.

I don't know why they don't just put out everything they can. It might have actually justified the price.

I canceled my physical copy so I could take a wait-and-see approach on it. I'm really having quite a bit of fun with it, but not double-dipping fun (so far).

If they implement all the patches into the physical cart, I'm okay with this. R* really shipped the bed on this one.
