i use the Switch as both. Sometimes I want to play Zelda or Mario Kart with my surround sound and TV and others I just want to play it for a short time in handheld.
To be honest, I really don't care much for life-size busts anymore. I much rather buy a statue of the character so it shows off the whole character, but that's just me. I do have the MKX Sub-Zero on order.
Lol at everyone freaking out over the price. The statue is hand painted, made out of resin and stands roughly around 16 inches. Also, companies like F4F always let you do payment plans on their statues, allowing you to pay it off over time.
$270 is a very reasonable price, especially for the exclusive with it's light-up features.
Thing is, buying these statues are always an investment. Seriously, I bought a life-size bust a few years ago for $600, and now it's worth around $1,000. Amiibos are nothing compared to premium statues. I love 'em.
Living in the U.S., this is very, VERY tempting. Be nice to get the console stand alone and buy Breath of the Wild separate and cancel my pre-order with Gamestop that includes Zelda and two other games that I have no interest in.
It would also save me some change in the mean time.
You just don't see pre-orders coming with neat physical items anymore. Props to Nintendo UK for shaking things up by offering neat items instead of posters like other retail stores.
I love Paper Mario, and I even gave Sticker Star the benefit of the doubt even though I didn't like how the combat was handled with stickers. I'll probably get Color Splash on release because I love me some Paper Mario. Should really play the other games again.
Their E3 wasn't bad. The only game they showed that I'm hyped for is Breath of the Wild. Everything else I passed by, which usually doesn't happen with Nintendo's E3. They usually have more games that I really want; but that wasn't the case this year. Maybe next E3.

Re: New Splatoon 2 Squid Sisters Stories Chapter Reveals Drifting Relationship
@YouSeemFRAZZLED Your comment is the first time I've heard of it.
Re: New Splatoon 2 Squid Sisters Stories Chapter Reveals Drifting Relationship
Who knew a game like Splatoon would have such an interesting story.
I missed out on the first game, but I'm glad I plan on getting the sequel.
Re: Random: Switch Actress 'Karen' Embraces her Nintendo Meme
Ehh. I guess anything can be a meme in 2016-17.
Re: Random: This Nintendo Switch Case Looks Like It Could Withstand Pretty Much Anything
Tempting, but I'm going to order a case from the same company that I bought my New 3DS case from.
Re: Nintendo Has Discontinued The NES Classic Edition in North America
Shame. Nintendo could've kept this going. Ah well, I'll just keep playing the games with emulators.
If they release a SNES classic edition, I would make ABSOLUTE sure I would get one.
Re: Splatoon 2 Splats on Switch on 21st July
I figured this game would release in July.
I can't wait, I never played the first game.
Re: That Bayonetta Countdown, Unsurprisingly, Was for a PC Port
Eh, I have Bayonetta 1 on both the PS3 and Wii U, I don't need a PC port.
Re: Fighter Kirby Announced for First 4 Figures Range
@Priceless_Spork MK9 Scorpion.

Re: Random: Japanese Kid Crafts Cardboard Nintendo Switch After Mother Refuses To Buy Him One
That's impressive.
Re: Sonic Mania Has Been Delayed Until Summer
I'm going to take a guess and say it'll probably release early July.
I'll say July 11th.
Re: Protect Your Nintendo Switch's Screen With These Fetching Dock Covers
I might get one because they look nice and will add some color to the otherwise very bland-to-look-at dock.
Re: Review: Mario Sports Superstars (3DS)
Kind of disappointing, I was hoping it would be good.
Ah well, I always have the previous Mario sports games to play.
Re: Video: Digital Foundry Pits Nintendo Switch vs. PS4 in Dragon Quest Heroes II Comparison
Of course the PS4 is going to look and run better than the Switch, but It's kind of surprising to see the Switch not match the Vita.
I won't be buying this sequel anyways, I lost interest pretty early in the first game, which is a shame because I did like it.
Re: Shantae: Half-Genie Hero Version 1.01 Goes Live in North America on Thursday
I love Shantae, so I welcome a Hard Core mode with open arms.
I would also welcome a Switch version of Half-Genie Hero for on the go.
Re: Site News: Nintendo Life is Red, Nintendo Life was Blue
I have no problem with the change.
Now PushSquare is blue and you guys are red. It all works out.
Re: Random: Would You Trade Your Brand New Nintendo Switch For A Fully-Boxed SNES?
Sure a fully boxed SNES has good resale value, but I already have a SNES and I would much rather have a Switch.
Besides, a person can always emulate the games on PC.
Re: Weirdness: Nintendo Switch Game Cards Taste Absolutely Horrible, So Don't Try To Eat Them
I'm tempted to lick the cartridge, but at the same time will be filled with regret once I do it.
Re: Poll: Nintendo Switch Countdown - Less Than a Week to Go, Is the Hype Building?
I'm looking forward to it, but not spending every waking moment thinking about it.
Re: Preview: Immersing Ourselves in the World of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
@LetsGoRetro Haha, yea i enjoy it. Always makes me laugh. I know a lot of people hate it, but differing opinions is part of life.
Re: Preview: Immersing Ourselves in the World of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Can't wait. I always get excited for a new Zelda being released, and I love how this game looks to really mix up the formula. Only a week to go!
Re: USPS Recovers Lost Package Containing $10,000 in Rare SNES Cartridges
Well, at least this story has a happy ending.
Re: Matching Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons Sure Look Pretty
@PotatoTheG Nintendo will take the gamepads out of the unsold Wii U's and cut the sides off and resell them as joy-cons.
That's what I call recycle-reduce-reuse!
Re: Matching Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons Sure Look Pretty
Maybe we should get purple joy-cons for a throwback to the Gamecube.
Re: Wonder What Zelda: Breath Of The Wild's New amiibo Do? Wonder No Longer
What's nice is the BoTW amiibos' content can be unlocked within the game.
Re: Gallery: Here's How Nintendo Switch Game Cards Compare To Practically Everything Else
Am I the only one that likes the PAL cover of Breath of the Wild just a tad more than the NTSC version?
Also those cartridges are pretty small. Soon we'll have games the size of a micro SD card.
Re: Gallery: Go On, Feast Your Eyes On The Nintendo Switch Packaging
But will it blend?
Re: Video: Ultra Street Fighter II's First Person Mode Looks Like A Throwback To Wonky Motion Controls
I feel Capcom could make this better, but they probably won't.
Star Fox Zero's motion controls were responsive and controlled well.
This has a really bad delay and some of the motions don't register right.
Re: Don't Worry, Nintendo Says It Hasn't Stopped NES Mini Production
I wanted buy one when they were released, now I really don't have any interest in the Mini anymore.
Re: Nintendo Confirms Expansion Pass DLC for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Why not, everything else has DLC and season passes now days.
Re: It's Still Quite Easy to Secure a Launch Day Nintendo Switch in the UK
Living in the U.S., this is very, VERY tempting. Be nice to get the console stand alone and buy Breath of the Wild separate and cancel my pre-order with Gamestop that includes Zelda and two other games that I have no interest in.
It would also save me some change in the mean time.
Re: Snake Pass is Slithering Its Way To Switch
Can't wait for this game. Feels so N64ish and I love it.
Re: Gallery: Here's What The Nintendo Switch Looks Like From (Almost) Every Angle
Looks great. Can't wait to get my hands on it on release day.
Re: Ultra Street Fighter II Introduces Evil Ryu And Violent Ken
Does this mean we're going to get another version of Street Fighter 4 on the Switch? Since that has multiple versions as well?
Re: Video: Ladies And Gentlemen, We Might Have Found The Worst Game On Wii U
This looks like something that would've been on Newgrounds in the early 2000s.
Re: The Soul Calibur Series Has Turned 20, And All We're Getting Is A Pachinko Machine
That's kind of disappointing. At least we have classic Soul Calibur games to return to.
Re: Official Nintendo UK Store Offers 'Choose Your Gift' Super Mario Maker for 3DS Pre-Orders
You just don't see pre-orders coming with neat physical items anymore. Props to Nintendo UK for shaking things up by offering neat items instead of posters like other retail stores.
Re: Random: Big the Cat Will Appear in the Sonic the Hedgehog LEGO Dimensions Stage
Is he going to look for Lego Froggy?
Re: Random: Paper Mario: Color Splash Has an Iffy Issue in its Battle System
I didn't care for the card system in Sticker Star but I might give it a second chance with Color Splash since I love Paper Mario.
I'll be honest, this is something that would be aggravating if it happened frequently.
Re: Review: Super Hero Math (Wii U eShop)
So many games on the eShop look like they belong on pre-2006 Newgrounds.
It's hilarious.
Re: Video: A Modder Has Made Super Mario Run 64
I'd play this. I'd play this over Super Mario Run.
Re: Metroid is 30 Years Old Today
I came here for fun, not for feels NintendoLife.
Anyways, happy birthday Metroid. Love the franchise.
Re: Video: Nintendo Wants You to Bask in Some Splatfest Nostalgia
I'm somewhat disappointed I missed out by not purchasing Splatoon last year when it was released so I could've partaken in the splatfests.
Ah well, maybe I'll get Splatoon just to experience the multiplayer aspect or wait for the potential sequel on the NX.
Re: Hands On: Painting a Clearer Picture of Paper Mario: Color Splash
I love Paper Mario, and I even gave Sticker Star the benefit of the doubt even though I didn't like how the combat was handled with stickers. I'll probably get Color Splash on release because I love me some Paper Mario. Should really play the other games again.
Re: Video: The Play Nintendo Show Focuses on Animal Crossing for Its Second Episode
Going to be honest, that was terrible. I think I felt brain cells die a slow, painful death while watching this.
Re: Review: Emojikara: A Clever Emoji Match Game (Wii U eShop)
This game looks like a free time wasting mobile game that uses retries as a microtransaction scheme.
Re: Poll: What Did You Think of Nintendo's E3 2016?

Re: Japan Has Voted For Its Favourite Pokémon, And It's Not Pikachu
I'm actually not surprised by this.
Re: Callie and Marie Join a New Splatoon amiibo Range on 8th July
I'm somewhat surprised that Nintendo didn't release the Squid Sisters as amiibos first before releasing the Inklings.
