@AG_Awesome You have a sprint button that lets you go faster and a separate button for a little spin hop when you're in the air that gives you a little extra air during a jump. It's definitely similar to New Super Mario then SMB3 or World. Honestly it feels better then the New Mario series in my opinion.

Really cool to see the original MvsDK remade but I feel the GBA title still holds up even today.

I upgraded from my launch day Switch to the Splatoon 3 OLED Switch last year but I wouldn't mind selling my launch Switch to help pay for the Switch successor, as long as it can run Switch games.

@Clammy I personally prefer the challenges more but that's just me.

The battles aren't even hard either, you just have to have good dandori.

Easily a solid 9/10 for me, and I really love Pikmin 1 and 2.

Honestly the dandori battle is the only negative for me but that's it.

Thing is, there's really no need to blow into the slot in the first place. There's already a cover on the console to cover it and protect it from any sort of dust or debris.

There is nothing wrong with good ol' emulation.

As someone that loves Splatoon, it definitely takes inspiration from it. It looks like a fun time for people that may not have any interest in Splatoon.

If Square puts out a demo or an open stress test, I'll give it a shot just to try it.

For ease of convenience, NSO is the best option and the easiest to access.

Overall? Emulation.

Definitely deserving of the success. I love the IP to death.

I don't believe that Nintendo lost "millions" due to some piracy. Sounds like a bunch of fluff to strengthen their case in court.

I'd rather have the game take longer to release and have the characters be unlockable than the drip feed of content that takes forever between updates.

@ModdedInkling I doubt Nintendo would do anything. Her contract with Nintendo likely expired years ago, so if she wants to lend her voice to fan made mods in non-Nintendo IPs, then go for it. They can't do anything.

The fact that they got the original VA is pretty impressive.

I get what they're going for with the Japan box art, but it feels like "photographers first day with a camera".
NA's is really cluttered and I don't like the white soft outline around the logo.

I was apart of the r/helltaker community. Was able to place two characters. It was a lot of fun banding together.

Need an extra year to make sure the game's framerate stays above 12 fps when running in an open field.

Jokes aside though I'm pretty excited. Shame we have to wait a year but there's a lot of other great games releasing in between.

From what I've seen, the jokes in this cartoon are hilarious so it's pretty neat-o to see a KH reference.

I really loved Fenyx Rising. The art direction, combat and the "climb anywhere" mechanics were so good. Went into the game with virtually zero expectations and I had a blast.

Emulation is a big selling point for the Steam Deck for me. If Nintendo won't give us Gamecube games on the Switch than by god I'll do it myself.
Besides, I'm pretty sure Breath of the Wild can run at a more stable fps on the Deck running the Wii U version than the Switch version on it's native console lmao.
