@NinChocolate In Japan there are many places that you do not take photos. If you travel to another country, you respect the rules, traditions and people of that country.

It is that simple. It is a very entitled outlook to think you don't. If someone came to your property, business or country you would expect them to respect your rules and boundaries.

@NinChocolate Actually not taking photos and respecting rules and other people is part of Japanese culture. I was there 2 years ago. When you go to another country you should respect their rules and culture. It is something well travelled and respectful people should know.

In Japan if you respect their rules and customs, they give so much kindness and respect back.

Maybe for Donkey Kong's birthday next year we will get the Game Boy games and the N64 game added to the Expansion

I just want to know when Donkey King Country is opening in Japan! I fly there on 3 weeks. It is not looking likely that it will open this year now.

@HalBailman I would love the N64 games if they could make them playable in handheld. There are no easy button mapping options and it is infuriating.

I only wante Tomb Raider 4 as it is by far the best of all the older games. It is a shame you can't buy them individiually.

The WiiU, apart from the control pad, was similar to Wii and it confused people.

Hopefully they change the design somewhat. Also, I really hope they have some kind of SSD technology. Long loading times and slow downloads are a thing of the past.

@Bigmanfan No one is asking you to change your opinion. I am entitled to mine too. I personally feel the idea of sand box puzzles are cool, but they are always far too easy. ToTk for me was too easy and repetitive. I am worried Echoes will have far too easy puzzles too. We shall see but I personally hope they go back to developer led puzzles.

@Bigmanfan The caves were so boring and repetitive. The same enemies, the same items... It felt more like a Ubisoft game than a Nintendo game.

@Bigmanfan The puzzles in TotK were insultingly easy. The dungeons for me were the worst in Zelda history with the most boring and uninspired bosses. The Divine Beasts felt new and the puzzles within more challenging.

Sandbox puzzles take away the challenge. As it was the same map as BotW, the since of discovery was gone, and the Depths were so boring to explore, ot felt like an overloaded Ubisoft game as far as exploration waa concerned. It was by far, in my opinion, the most repetitive Zelda game ever made.

@Bonggon5 BotW, Majora's Mask and even Skyward Sword had much better puzzles than TotK.

The description makes it sound like the puzzles are going to be as insultingly easy as those in TotK. For me Zelda games live or die by how good the puzzles are. Sandbox puzzlesvare just far too easy to solve. It seems like we will not have great puzzles in a Zelda game for a while

I just want to know when Donkey Kong Country is opening in Japan. It is supposed to open the 2nd half of 2024 and I booked my trip to Japan in November. Someone needs to tell Universal and Nintendo there is a little over 3 months left in 2024 and there has still not been any announcement

Is the game and online membership at no extra cost?

I want to but I am so crap at fighting games it is pointless lol.

These could have been put on Switch online. It is a shame Nintendo didn't celebrate in this way

@KeeperBvK The Mario Kart ride is not a rollercoaster and more an interactive game so I think he will be fine, and the Yoshi Ride is for smaller kids and the animatronics are cute. The yoshi ride is really for wee kids. I felt quite sad being a 41 year old man in a Luigi costume riding it 🤣🤣🤣

@KeeperBvK just keep checking. Have you been to Japan before? Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios there is actually sensational. Best themed park I was ever in. It was so authentic. It feels alive and the Japanese people make it so special.

On the other hand the one in Hollywood Universal feels unfinished and the staff are just rude and take away from the experience. The merchandise in Japan is awesome too. I highly recommend the Express Pass to guarantee entry and go on a Wednesday or Thursday as there are school trips there on Mondays and Tuesdays. If you dont get the Express Pass you will be queuing very early to get into the Nintendo section

Hopefully they will open Donkey Kong Country by then as it was delayed and no sign of it opening yet.

@KeeperBvK It is si rubbish for you. 3 of my 6 entries won. There will be a lot of cancellations so check back. I think they have to be claimed by 7th and then it is first come first served.

It depends what it is first. Maybe they should have a hone version as powerful as PS5, a portable only, and a hybrid. Steam Deck has shown it is possible to have PC quality games downgraded for a handheld.

I have tried to book tickets for Wednesday 13th November as i booked tickets then as I wanted to go to Donkey Kong Country which does not look like it is happening.

You go into a draw to get the Nintendo Museum tickets. I will literally be broken if I do not get them. What a dream come true this could be. Please I need lots of positive energy and wishes for luck that I get them.

I am in the draw as travelling to Japan in November. I will be heartbroken if I do not get tickets as it looks like Donkey Kong Country will no longer be opening in time for my visit.

I will be in Kyoto in November! I am so excited to go here. Hopefully Donkey Kong Country will be open too.

This. It is insane this is still topping charts after all those years. I don't know if it speaks only of its popularity, or of the lesser quality of current game releases.

@Ralizah The combat was possibly a bit more challenging, but the puzzles were insultingly easy, and the dungeons even more so. The dungeons were devoid of challenge, and the bosses completley uninspired compared to those within the Divine Beasts. The Divine Beasts as dungeons were far more creative and inspired, with nice challenging puzzles.

I find it really not good that Nintendo could not even be bothered to translate the Starfy games when fans have already done this via emulation. For all it would have took them.

BotW is 1million times better than TotK. I think TotK is a bloated, boring and insultingly easy game compared to the first, so I am not surprised it is selling better.

The Switch needs a price drop for momentum if it is to surpass DS and PS2 sales.

The new Zelda model might help a little for it to catch up with PS2. A new mainline zpokemon with a new model could also help. Nintendo should have pulled out all the stops to get it to the top milestone.

How about just releasing them on the Switch online service?

@DwaynesGames I wholeheartedly agree with you. I wonder if we will ever get a Mario Kart 10 considering 9 sells better than most games still year on year. I see Nintendo uprezzing the graphics and keeping it as is. It must be the best selling single console game of all time (Wii Sports not included).

The Emio teaser was not as exciting as I hoped it would be.

I think the story is so bad and nonsensical that it does not matter. Hopefully the new story will be more coherent and be good for Disney fans also.

I just hope that the awful sweary trailer for BG&E 2 which was clearly aimed at appealing to the X-Box 360 generation of gamers (the worst in history), is not what the final product is going to be, and we get a direct sequel that uses the original as its foundation instead.
