@Dirty0814 Actually there is somehing wrong with the d-pad. Google it and read the many, many articles, and watch the many videos on it. You press up or down and it also registers right and left and vice versa. I know how to play games, and I have been using a d-pad since the NES, and no other d-pad in any console does this happen. Please take your patronising comments elsewhere to people such as yourself who are unable to look at evidence and facts to form opinions.
I notice someone is going down the list disliking every comment that points out how bad the d-pad is on the Pro Controller, which has been proven many times in numerous YouTube videos and articles. I am a huge Nintendo fan, but these raging fanboys that can't deal with anyone pointing out the not so good things Nintendo do too really need to get a life.
I am looking forward to the open area. It will still be the same game but with better, more seamless exploration. I want to wait until it releases before I hold judgement as BotW was sensational. Even though it was massive I never felt lost once
I just think this game looks gorgeous. I love the art style and it is a huge improvement over Let's Go. I know not all Pokemon are available, but I do hope that all the event and legendary Pokemon are.
Fans were asked who they wanted in the game. I would now like to see some Nintendo characters in the game as DLC. I do not feel Overeatch characters would fit well and prefer the Japanese feel of all the fighters (apart from the welcome edition of Banjo Kazooie
@Snakesglowcaps I definitely do notice these things. I think about 3 or 4 times in the whole game it happened when I was leaving a building. Literally nothing really game altering at all. The physical game I read is worse than the digital copy. I also have the newer model if that could make a difference as Polygon states it has some performance gains as well as a better battery life from the new SKU.
I do not do games with micro-transactions so mobile gaming is mostly a no from me. I lived playing Gorogoa on my mobile that I bought for around £1. What a beautiful game.
I honestly experienced no issues with the game whatsoever. I did play the game digitally so I don't know if that makes a difference but I honestly had no issues at all.
@GAMER1984dude That was a long time ago and Nintendo would never stop one of the best sell9ng franchises from coming to Switch. We had GTA on DS, and now Switch has Saints Row and loads of pervy games. It depends on of Rockstar want to develop and release it.
@Tao No game in which you constantly die by anything other than your own gaming skill faults is good game design. For years prior companies made games without this. The open world was amazing, but getting killed 100s of times over in a game mission through faults in the games design is bad game design. How many times in; for example, a Nintendo game, have you ever got killed through no fault other than that of your own. GTA 3 had some great world design but gameplay outside of the car was abysmal and some missions were nigh on impossible to complete because of it.
I thought this game was amazing for around the first 6hrs but when you had to get out the car and shoot you would get killed through no fault of your own and that is not fun and awful game design. If someone ever completed this game 100% they must have had the patience of a saint.
@Prof_Yoshtonics The mobile market is largest on the planet. 6 billion people with a mobile or 40 million with a Switch. If I ran a gaming business for sure I would release mobile games. £5 a month is not that bad if those that pay it are free from micro transactions.
I rarely ever mobile game as I like my games more complex and free from Micro-transactions. It is the same reason I do not game on X-Box.
@Gasarakii Xenoblade 2 had a similar blurriness in handheld mode but didn't stop me enjoying it, but other graphically intensive games like Astral Chain, Smash Bros, Skyrim, etc looked absolutely amazing in handheld. I am probably just being picky. I never played on PS4, just seen my friend playing it and wow it is gorgeous. I prefer JRPGs on portable consoles though.
@theseventensplit Cell shading normally translates very well to Switch e.g. BotW. I was a bit surprised by the blurriness. I will still be buying it I am sure.
@Gasarakii I just expected a but more I suppose. The PS4 game was exceptionally beautiful and I didn't expect so much blurriness in handheld mode. I will probably still buy it though.
@theseventensplit DQ looks so blocky in handheld, even more so than Xenoblade 2 did. I was very surprised considering how amazing Zelda BotW looked in handheld.
As long as there is no Microtransactions, then I do not mind paid DLC for a finished game. Nintendo games usually always has unlocks/extras for your gaming skill, so extra paid DLC can be healthy at keeping people playing games. NINTENDO PLEASE NO MICROTRANSACTIONS EVER ON CONSOLE GAMES.
@Joe-b You can put your profile on a friends console and when you are not playing they can. I remember when PS3 first came out you could share digital games with 5 different people, but they eventually reduced it to 3.
@farmer_humpf I know it is totally amazing. They are £25.99 at the moment which is still a decent enough saving if you are buying £90 worth for £78 to buy those vouchers. I doubt I will ever buy physical again.
@beazlen1 No problem buddy. Check every day as I got 3 for £72. Cdkeys prices change constantly. I bought 4 x £90 worth lol. For each £72, I got £90 of credit. £84 voucher I got £4.20 back and £2.50 each eventually for Zelda and LM3 plus £6 left over. Absolute bargains this way and I prefer digital gaming especially when this cheap.
@mcpedwards You get half the points if you use a voucher. I buy my e-Shop credit cheap of CD Keys (Got £90 for £72) buy the vouchers and het the coins and have money left over.
Great! It means the digital editions will be hugely overpriced. Games like this should be released as Limited Run games later so the physical obsessives can get what they want without those happy to be digital gamers being penalised.
@John_Deacon I just bought some. I got £4.21 back, and will get another £2.50 back for getting Link's Awakening as because of the x2 points offer, I will get the extra only. So I am getting it for £37.50. Wiite a good deal as I was not paying 50 for it. It is still on so I am hoping to get more vouchers
@John_Deacon If you buy the voucher, you get more than £4 back in e-Shop credit, plus because if the double points you get £2.50 back, so you can get the game for 37.50 which is a bit easier to stomach for a remake. Nintendo are renowned for being RIP off merchants.
They can keep to other consoles. I never but their games. They make games for the masses, not for gamers, and try to milk as much money out of people with unethical practices.
Raging fanboys going off their head about the score. Whether you like the multiplayer game or not, the point Nintendolife are making is that we are being charged full price again for an incomplete game.

@FarkyValentine The first level is great in the first game, but the level design gradually gets worse as the game goes on.

@Indielink Beat it before you collect everything then. I read it is still challenging even when you have completed everything

I must say I am disappointed in the graphics in handheld mode. It looks almost like a 3DS game. I have not tried it in docked mode.

I played it in its day and enjoyed it, but it really needed puzzles or something to make it more interesting. It also needed a decent sequel.
Forsaken HD would be better for me if we are looking at older Acclaim games.
