@John_Deacon I just bought some. I got £4.21 back, and will get another £2.50 back for getting Link's Awakening as because of the x2 points offer, I will get the extra only. So I am getting it for £37.50. Wiite a good deal as I was not paying 50 for it. It is still on so I am hoping to get more vouchers

@John_Deacon If you buy the voucher, you get more than £4 back in e-Shop credit, plus because if the double points you get £2.50 back, so you can get the game for 37.50 which is a bit easier to stomach for a remake. Nintendo are renowned for being RIP off merchants.

I played it in its day and enjoyed it, but it really needed puzzles or something to make it more interesting. It also needed a decent sequel.

Forsaken HD would be better for me if we are looking at older Acclaim games.

What pissess me off about this buy now play later, scenario, is how it will probably lessen the value of physical copies. This is a new trend in gaming, so those copies will be worth s*** if they ever shut servers down supplying the updates

I do not find most Sega Megadrive games to have aged well so I never spend my money on them but keep remaking the games post Megadrive. The Panzer Dragoon remake looks amazing. And some the games they released or developed during the Dreancast/Gamecube/PS2/X-Box era were fantastic and are screaming out for remakes. Skies of Arcadia/Panzer Dragoon Orta/Space Channel 5/Jet Set Radio Future/Billy Hatcher/F-Zero GX/Otogi 2

@GrailUK The price is a disgrace. Gamers should be aware that all 4 game chapters released the same day on PS4, for the same price as the first chapter only on Switch. It is disgusting, but raging fanboys will constantly stick up for the pricing structure on Switch.

@CoastersPaul Square are renowned for bad graphic updates. But then companies like Sony do it amazingly well. I love these old retro graphics too; however, A bare bones re-release of one GB game and 2 SNES games is not worth £37.99. I will continue to not allow myself to be ripped off on Switch by companies such as Nintendo, Capcom and Square, as no other gaming platform has such ridiculous pricing and lack of sales, as only the raging Nintendo fanboy allows it, and it makes me hate being a Nintendo fan. Look at the amazing Days if Play Ssle on Sony just now.

Deponia on Switch released for £39.99, only the first part, the same price the full collection released for on the first day on Sony. The Resident Evil games were almost double the price they released for on other consoles, and now this Mana Collection price, and everyone still sticks up for it. I hope Nintendo are fined again like they were for n 2002 for their price fixing as it feels like this all over again.

Maybe Nintendo should do sonethingvnice like this for its fans instead if allowing us to be charged £37.99 for a collection of 3 retro games: one GB and 2 SNES games. I love Nintendo's games the most but Sony is much kinder to its fans with regular sales, better priced and graphically UPDATED collections for cheaper than that Mana Collection.

Hmmm. I am not entirely convinced by the trailer. I do not like the look of the way it controls. And the platforming looks kind of basic, compared to the excellent level designs of say, DKC Returns. However I will try to stay optimistic, even after being greatly let down by Yooka Laylee.

And that price is the reason I emulate. There has been an English translation Rom for years

@Sinton Final Fantasy 5 was translated years ago. It has been released on PSone, GBA, PC, Wii Ware, PC, Mobile phone, PSN and more.

At that price I will wait for the 3D remake. I am a Nintendo fanboy but gullible Switch owners are being ripped off again.

I would rather a game perfect t than rushed. But a few images even would be nice. Platinum are incredible developers and I do not doubt them one bit

I have been playing Pokemon for 20years. If my favourite are culled then I give up on the game. The amount if events I have attended to capture lehenderies and rate Pokemon, the years I have battled with them and trained them. I liked Mega Evolutuons and how they made useless Pokemon useful again. This is sad.

All they need to do is add more larger dungeons, and make the shrines and dungeons harder and it will be the best game ever. The template is incredible and I could not be more excited

@zool Well your home has not, but sales figures of the most recent 3DS games state otherwise, as sad as that is. You can't compare the World to your own home. You need to look at the macro picture.

@zool The 3DS was superseded by the Switch and people lost interest in sterescopic 3D, although I so love the glasses-less 3D if the 3DS.

@zool This is the opinion of one person, and 3D televisions never really took off, hence the reason Sony ditched it for PS4, and Nintendo from 3DS to Switch. So this is one article from 2010, and the terminology has stayed the same. Wearing 3D glasses only adds more depth; depth which can also be added to 2D games. This is called stereoscopic 3D. Playing a game in a 3 dimensional space is still 3D gaming, with or without a telescopic effect.

@zool I would love to read an article in which it is referred to as 2 5D? Never have I ever read anything referring to a game with full 360° degree movement and full camera control as 2.5D and I have been reading gaming media for years. But please feel free to prove me wrong.

@zool It was the first 3D platformer with fully analogue controls, and a fully controllable camera.

@zool CupidStunt is a very well known character from a comedy sketch show. And I have the intellect to understand what is meant by a 3d game, and what is meant by 2.5d. Mario 64 was actually hailed as the first true 3d game as you had full analogue controls, and the most advanced 3d camera controls of any game at that time. Judging by your lack of knowledge and intellect on this matter, I would like to assume maybe you were not around in those days; however, the fact your avatar is Zool would indicate you most likely were which is a bit concerning.

Many retailers have the physical edition for £39.85 which negates this offer

@zool What a lot of nonsense. Mario64 you could move around on a 3D plane with 360° movement, so it is classed as a 3D game. I believe you understand what they mean by 3D and 2.5D gaming and you are just being pedantic.
