I used to love the stories,but post Majora's Mask they have not been great.

It seems like all Nintendo games are made for beggibers now. Metroid Prime 4, TotK, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Echoes of Wisdom, Donkey Kong Bananza..... I wished Nintendo would make sane games for their experienced fans also.

As a fan of the Galaxy games I loved the film so much more than the 1st. The critics said it was full of fun service. Well I am a fan amd really felt well serviced by the movie

@Pillowpants Yes, it is but not wholly. Nintendo owns 1 third of Pokemon, Game Freak the other third, and the other is owned by Creatures Inc. Nintendo also holds the trademark and has publishing rights to the games, and owns part of Creatures Inc. These 3 companies make up The Pokemon Company, and Nintendo then most likely has the controlling shares do to owning part of Creatures Inc

If I need microtransactions just to battle my pokemon online I am not interested. Nintendo making the lowest budget games for the maximum cost is starting to get old now. I love Pokemon and battling online but tbis is becoming a joke.

@jsty3105 It was being developed for Switch 1 but they moved it 2. This and MKW, the 2 flagship games, are hardly graphical showcases when you see a PS4 had GoW, TLoU2, Horizon, Ratchet and Clank and other games a Switch 2 is capable if running. Nintendo should not ne leaving it to third party developers to showcase the capabilities of their system.

MP4 is the best looking Nintendo game but you can see its Switch 1 origins and, well, it was not half as good as it should have been.

@stephen_stig Yes and many 3rd party developers are showing the power of the console. But all we are getting from Nintendo are high priced low budget games from them just now

No love for Mega Emboar with its ability compared to the other 2.

It his been a real piss poor console launch from Nintendo. Not 1 single 1st party game that shows off the true power of the console. Usually it is the 1st party owner that has the hardware showcasing games. Metroid Prime 4 which should have been genre defining after 7 years in development was a real disappointment. People are losing faith with all these super cheaply made games selling for a premium price on PS4 Pro quality hardware. Nintendo really need to showcase sonething spectacular.

Quite possibly the best soundtracks ever for its time. That opening screen was the best mood setter for any game.

So excited for Fatal Frame 2 remake. It is apparently just as terrifying.

We always get ***** gifts in Europe compared to our friends over the pond.

If there are some gripes with combat maybe they can be fixed with a patch. The original on X-Box was the very first game I played with in game Dolby Digital surround and I found the game scarier than any other game I had played, and also scarier than any movie I had ever seen. This version is apparently gorgeous on PS5 and even scarier than the original.

I was hoping it was because people are boycotting game key cards

I really love how it looks on my 4K OLED at 4k 60fps. It was jarring at first how smooth it is. However I have not tried it in handheld. Nintendo really are all about minimum effort and maximum profit at the moment. The parent company has still kt released a single game to show off the power of the cobsole, which is unheard of, and are leaving it to 3rd parties to do so.

How could you miss SNES from the list!!

I literally just started playing this again after getting inpatient waiting on the upgrade (that was already there apparently) I am very happy about this as this game is phenomenal. I hope to get 1st impressions soon.

This is great news. I would so love a Switch 2 update for the Ori games also.

Symphony of the Night on Switch!!

European Nintendo fans really draw the shorts straw when it comes to items from My Nintendo Rewards. It has been like that since the beginning.

@cedarhyped It is opinion buddy. I preferred the first. There were some very bad design decisions in the 2nd game in places in my opinion.

@Novuscourvous The open ended puzzles were insanely easy, especially after the expertly crafted developer led puzzles of BotW. The dungeons were the worst designed ever on Zelda history too in my opinion. The Depths were so boring and such a chore to explore.

Minimal effort again.

Please nothing as basic for the next mainline Zelda. A different graphical style would be nice too. TotK in all it's ideas became bloated and very, very, very easy. And these Mushou games are super simplistic in design

The Switch 2 is similar in power to PS4 Pro. Games like The Last of us 2, Horizon and God of War 2 looked phenomenal. Zelda is the Nintendo flagship title that really needs to be the 1st party game showing what Nintendo can do with the extra power of their machine, rather than leaving it to 3rd parties to do that.

Phantom Ganon should have been at the top imo. In it's day there had never been anything like. The transition from childhood to adulthood also brought in a different atmosphere and this boss at the end of the most incredible 1st dungeon after the transition was epic.

Also Majora's Mask was an epic fight and I think very atmospheric.

Fans have already translated these games on emulation so there is no reason why Konami can't. The minimal amount of work it woukd take. This is such a shame.

Switch 2 releases of all 4 other games please

Wow! Such a system seller for Nintendo's powrful new hardware. This is such a poor first party launch for a system Nintendo. You are going to need to give people sonething more to Justify the high cost of Switch 2

Super Mario Bros Wonder would have been fine with a free upgrade and aid DLC. It is hardly an upgrade pushing the hardware

Nintendo needs games. Metroid Prime 4 was a mis step and not the 7 years in development game. The OG Switch had BotW and for Christmas had Mario Odyssey. There has been nothing new of quite the same quality for Switch 2. It seems like Switch 2 games have been an afterthought for Nintendo.

@Misima I played it for 10 minutes at the Nintendo Museum in Japan and felt physically sick. It really was not a great system. It was not comfortable to wear and that red screen really did affect people's vision and cause headaches.

Why are Nintendo taking away such incentives? They are making more than enough money.

Platform exclusives also creat competition. With no competition, publishers can get lazy and there is no trying to make the next best game.

I am sure if it was the revolutionary 7 year in development game it should have been then it would have done better.

Not really newsworthy that a hsme with these kinds of graphics runs at 120fps

I hope this is just the start of the game and he gets killed by some gruesome alien so I can go solo. 7 years in the making and apparentky the most expensive game Nintendo has made. This game should be Nintendo's magnum opus. Nintendo should not do NPCs in a Metroid game unless the can have some Sony first party quality script writing.

This is the largest file size of any Nintendo game ever, and apparently the most expensive they have ever made and they are doing nothing to build hype

@Willo567 This game has been super cheap to make. A budget of 13 million. It's only just out and the DLC is coming already.

This was held back as paid content. There is literally no doubt about that.

@Willo567 Defensive much? In the past Nibtendo stated these kinds of practices were agaibst their ethos, but now sadly this is no longer the case.

So it was already finished and omitted from the main game. Most mainline zpokemon games are now without any worthwhile postgame content.

I wished they would get rid of all the other characters. Metroud is at its best when it is a lonely Samus vs the Planet, and the story is told via the graphics and setting only.

I want a 1st party game made for switch 2 from the ground up. This is supposed to be as powerful as PS4 Pro which was producing hanes like The Last of Us 2 and God of War.

How is this only running at 30fps on Switch 2 at 4K? Is the consolevreally that underpowered?

How an earth can a game like animal crossing still only run at 30fps at 4k, when Metroid Prime 4 will do 60fps at 4k?
