Make a Kid Icarus that is an evolution of the NES original and not the painful 3DS action game.

This is a game to look back in with rise-tinted glasses. Ir is nowhere near as good as we remember.

@Desrever Contact them and register the complaint so if they refuse, and are give a timescale they have before they dont have to repair them e.g. 3yes, then at least you can say you reported it in that time scale.

I bought cheap on PS4 and it is awful. I thought it would be a throwback to the old Tomb Raider games but the puzzles are rubbish, controls are worse and it is full of bugs. No doubt as there is a physical release it will be way, way overpriced on Switch also.

The e-Shop is a nightmare at the moment. So much shovel ware, but the switch has bad sone of the best Nintendo games in years

@SortingHat Kind of like a New Game+. It would be good in the next game to have a hard mode from the start too without dlc, or to have options for no food during boss fights.

I thought Breath of the wild was a decent challenge, especially without cooking and in Master Mode.

Massive feat but the single player games are stupidly easy now. Online battling is the only way to play until they release a hard mode.

Animal Crossing is a lovely little game to play. It is funny and mild, but if there is any game ever in history that does not get me excited via screenshots its Animal Crossing. The screenshots just can't sell the game well at all

Squeenix and Capcom should take note of those release prices....

@Entrr_username Did you delete your absolutely dusgusting and pathetic reply to me? I still got the e-mail. Clearly so obsessed with your hobby that no one should have a different opinion than you. The bad reviews for Pokemon were just in my opinion, and that of others. A game is only review bombed when it dies not deserve the bad reviews. Pokemon did deserve the less than stellar reviews in my opinion.

The latest Pokemon games deserved to be review bombed as the game were bare bones and the post game is hidden behind a paywall. I have just recently returned to ultra sun and can't believe the difference in quality.

At least they were not bought by one of the usual big companies like EA or Activision. That would be worse.

@mariomaster96 Me too. I think Animal Crossing is Animal Crossing and like every iteration there will be very little added to the core experience. A Direct worth more new games would be nicer.

Nintendo need to pull out the stops and release a load of their big guns around the same time as the PS5 release date. A new Mario, Metroid and Zelda would keep people interested, as well as mor Pokemon related DLC.

@Kienda I agree. Everyone makes mistakes, even the ones replying who think they do not. If you make a pre-order, and you do not have the thing you purchased, you should be able to cancel. It is just greedy and obstructive. Other companies offer a cancellation so why cant Nintendo

@sanderev But other companies have a policy for digital preorders, you know, games you do not actually own yet. I know it was a mistake, but most companies allow you to return something you do not own. A physical pre-order can be cancelled. What is the difference?

You should not be so blinded by rules. And you are a raging fanboy. There is more to life than gaming.

@sanderev It is about customer care. I accidentally bought Pokemon Shield with money instead of my voucher. It was a mistake and what a hassle, and hours of disgusting service to get a refund so I could use my voucher.

But it us about Customer Care. Valve and Sony have a pre-order refund policy. Nintendo do not. It shows little value to the customer.

@sanderev Of course you can. Half sleeping, child gets your Switch. But a raging fanboy can never see past a console publisher. Everything they do is perfect isnt it. No other company has such restrictive policy.

This is a bad result. Not even being able to refund a mistaken purchase. It is just a prohibitive process. I hope they lose the appeal.

There is currently no game like Breath of the Wild so what is the big deal that a game takes influence from it?

So happy that Dragon Quest XI S made number 1. It was so traditional in every sense, but had some beautiful self contained stories that added to a larger whole. My favourite game on any system this year. I played it for around 200hrs and never got bored. I was sad it never lit up the charts.

Pokemon Sword and Shield was the biggest disappointment for me.

Dragon Quest XI S absolutely should have been in this list. It scored higher than some of these games and is an epic in every sense. It was full of humour and charming stories.

I would not have had Elder Scrolls there, as for me it was barely different than Oblivion.

Game of the year for me. I wonder how much sold in the West? It is amazing and deserves to sell twice as much.

@Baker1000 Yes I hated that repition too, but I felt the main game was more boring in 2nd Layer. I did love in the first the repeat boss fights with 4 at a time, as the strategies involved were great, but it could have been more streamlined.

I enjoyed the first, but I was unable to beat the 2nd as I thought the story was awful.

That does not look like it will fit under my telly.

@blueracer Well there is no point in trying to be objective with a raging fanboy so I am not going to waste my time trying.

These are free and everyone is moaning. I think it is a great collection for Nintendo fans. Looking forward to finally trying Star Fox 2.

@Rohanrocks88 They do, and they are making plenty. Metroid has never been their biggest selling franchise, even though it has influenced more big indie games than any other game.

The music in Swird and Shield is abysmal. The only Nintendo game I have ever played bar Yoshi's Wooly World that I have had to turn the music off.

I would never purchase anything from Amazon again. Jeff Bezos, greedy B that he is. Richest man on the planet and pays no tax whatsoever. He even looks evil.

Wow! A top 10 list not packed with 1st party games.

Maybe we will get a bigger budget for the next one.

@blueracer I made many other points. It is my opinion. This game did not need to be so low budget. I miss the GTS, it is so hard to trade, the ev training method is slow, it is a real regression. I am glad you are loving the games. I think they are okay but shoiuld have been so much better.

Thank God I can turn the god awful midi music off. Pokemon really does have the worst music out of all big Nintendo Franchises.

Actually this game deserves to be review bombed. Half of the Pokemon are missing, and my legenderies would ne transferred over, the GTS has gone making trading more difficult, the battle animations are awful, the music is a god awful midi soundtrack you cant turn off, there are no touch screen controls, gigantimax is nowhere near as competitively interesting as mega evolutions, the story is just plain bad, the lack of voice acting, the pokemon not speaking their names like they do in the anime, and the game is far too low budget for a game that will likely sell 15million plus. I do not think this is review bombing, I think the lowet scores are justified in my opinion. Definitely my least favourite mainline entry since Diamond and Pearl. This is newer more powerful hardware and we deserved so much more.

@BenAV I am the same as you. Gigamtimax is nowhere near as competitively interesting as Mega forms were, the game is so low budget (inexcusable low considering it is the most profitable multifranchise in history at £90biliion), graphics and animations are poor, music is horrendous midi music, pokemon and animations are the same as 3DS pretty much, story is exceptionally weak and more than half of the Pokemon are missing with no National DeX.

One of the very best games I ever played.

They better just shut up and give me an English language collection of all the SNES games right now.
