Epic Mickey had some cool concept art and a really cool concept but delivery wasn't there. The story and game promised early on was a lot darker and more open then the game delivered.

Another vote for Arms been the Switch's best game, bought it this week and it is simply awesome! Though, I still love Mario Kart

That's actually phenomenal, I'm guessing we'll see a whole heap of 3rd party announcements at e3, because those sales make the Switch a big enough platform to justify individual development teams for switch specific versions of big multi-plat games.

Picked up Arms which might now be my favourite switch game, its simply brilliant, best fighting game I've ever played. How is Arms not a bigger thing?

I can remember x-2 been a lot more fun then x, which was very heavy going.

Kingdom hearts came out at a similar time if I remember correctly, and x-2 seems to pull a lot in tone from that. I wish we could get Kingdom Hearts

I liked X but not enough to double dip at full price, vii and ix are better stories in my view. Though, the one I really want is the one we aren't getting viii

I'll pick it up if there's multiplayer, because dooms the only fps multiplayer game of any note switch has, but otherwise meh.

This is funny I was looking to do a build at the weekend but couldn't find a kit I liked, this looks really good.

I don't think the labo vr points to anything but an attempt to save labo.

I'd like a switch pro, but I'm a fanboy and want all my gaming on a Nintendo device.

Not sure how they could do it at a competitive price point though? Particularly, as for newer chips Nintendo's competing with flagship phones, and a $1000 switch probably wouldn't sell.

I'm ready for an upgrade so long as there's additional 3rd party software. Really want some more fps on the go, Doom's good but I could use a CoD or Battlefield game.

Love the series, really looking forward to this, my favourite is still brotherhood. Though, Black Flag's good its side quests that make it, the actual stories meh. I enjoyed 3 first time round, its best in the winter section though.

Razer released basically the same thing around that time, though not on android but a windows device.

Hellblade (which I haven't played yet waiting for a port), assassins creed (which looked shaky but is a few months from release still and ubi have been doing the Switch well), ow and the Zelda game I've literally been waiting years for!!! Yep, i'm happy. If I hadn't replayed ffix a month ago I'd of bought it today, but will 100% be buying ffvii in march, 100 hours of the funniest RPG ever, yep please!

Direct couldn't have been better for me, 3 of my favourite franchises coming in 3 of the best games (OK ac3 not so much, but its better then people say it is). At least 4 games I'll 100% buy, and a couple I might buy.

Mario maker wasn't something I was into after seeing an interview on the line up of music, art, level design and gameplay in the first super Mario bros with its creative team, which makes have a go attempts seem wrong.

I'm trying to think what else there was but it was just tons of great stuff. Best year for switch yet is clearly going to be this year, hopefully we also get madden this year now frostbite runs on switch, and I can't wait for a proper pokemon game with actual battles to capture pokemon, not to mention the digimon game that's coming, which I think is supposed to be q1.

A bit disappointed that cool looking baseball game isn't coming westward, might have to import it, but that was the only bum note for me.

Rain world sounds like my jam, its on my steam list and I haven't gotten round to it but will 100% pick it up on switch.

Any word on squadron 633? I like these sorts of games but this looks like a poor mobile port at best.

So 4 years more to wait then.

I love the yarn games, though im not so keen on the look of Crafted World, I wish this was coming to switch.

Fez would be a nice fit. Other then that, meh.

With all the final fantasy games coming, and resident evil 4/onimusha, i'm feeling pretty good about my next raft of switch purchases, along with all my gaming up until the next metroid.

I thought it was really slow at first, but I've actually bought a ton of games. Feel like Nintendo's been a bit better on the pricing during deals, particularly on Indy games, but even on some bigger titles.

Hyped for the next direct!

I'd love to see galaxy released that'd make me very happy.

SNES as number 1 and Wii above Wii u and end easy top 5. Switch maybe 7'ish its not proved itself yet, still needs that core Pokemon game, metroid and a better infrastructure, software is now as important as hardware.

This game needed a story. That's what it is missing.

As game file sizes get larger, 2 disc red dead redemption 2 for example, cloud gaming is going to make more and more sense both for consumers and producers. 2 discs cost more to box then 1, prices of physical games go up, or file storage and access becomes centralized.

Better screen, the power to run it. Everything else, meh.

@Razer Not 'some cases' but at least a 5th of SOE in field operatives were women. Tanks aren't that fast, but I don't think its the individual gameplay mechanics, but the depiction of the women that's the issue here.

None of the people complaining about Battlefield 5 complained that Battlefield 1 wasn't Arma, or that half the soldiers depicted in the field didn't have dysentery, or that a single bullet wound wouldn't kill off the character in an instant. Because you know its still a game.

This is about people not wanting female avatars in games because of their politics, it has nothing to do with the politics of the devs, or accuracy, but is about the misogynist politics of those who don't want women involved in the industry and have created a banner around that.

@Razer How is it historically inaccurate? The SOE (Special Operations Executive) had a large number of female agents, its best ranking sniper was a women, and they deployed behind enemy lines in a number of theatres of WW2.

That British films from the 1950's (Carve Her Name with Pride, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carve_Her_Name_with_Pride, a great film worth watching) could depict the real world heroism of female combatants, without controversy, makes it a little depressing to see the reaction at the simple depiction of these women today.

Might pick this up, the gameplay looks like something I'd enjoy. But, a game from 2095 even with updated visuals will need to be priced right.

Just want an Ezio collection from them, that would be icing on the already fantastic recent Switch line-up cake.

I kinda like the look of this, if they'd thrown the original cutscenes in as fmv's I think it would have been better, then it would have just looked like one of the early 3d final fantasy games.

Will concur with others though, in that, i'd also like to see them port 7-9 over to the console. They're on steam can we just get them now?

One of the best games i've ever played, can't wait for the 6th! Its difficult but not unfair about it.

Transistor, Bastion and this just went to the top of my must have list. But, Hyperlight drifter is a game I could literally play forever! Challenging, serene and just boss in every way, away working but the first thing I'm doing when I pick up my switch next is buying this!

Well that sounds grim.

Looking at it more holistically as part of a cord cutting bill makes sense, so instead of getting a cable package its buying an entertainment package including video games. For that to work there needs to be cross industry collaboration, if I could get Nintendo game streaming/netflix/Spotify all for a fixed price and an easy package, then that could be a good move for me as a consumer.

That's where the streaming is heading like Amazon prime which gives you music, video games, TV ect all at one price.

That's Nintendo caring about families and consumers,.taking its responsibilities seriously. It's one of the reason's I'm a Nintendo gamer, the company might mess up occasionally but a first party Nintendo game is going to be good value for money.

I'm glad a mantra of squeeze cents out of gamers to make money, and create a situation of whale chasing, won't be Nintendo's future.

We've had so many really great and exciting announcements the past 2/3 weeks what on earth were Nintendo playing at at e3.

Bring me Fez and some slugcat based announcements, along with a Hyperlight Drifter release date. As its a nindies direct I won't hope for too much, but I'm glad its coming.

@Jimgamer8 100% this, I want to see ports of previous gen games we've already had it with Skyrim ect and Bethesda seem happy. We could also get anything that will natively run on the Nvidia shield as its the same hardware so that's Tomb Raider, Half life 2 and Mad Max at least.
