Super metroid!

Sn30 pro is my second favourite controller ever, its not a 360 controller, but its damn good. OK, maybe 3rd, I can't help but love a pal SNES controller for aesthetics alone. But, the sn30 pro is also the best made Switch controller out there, absolutely zero problems with drift.

I probably won't get a plus because the extra grip space isn't something I necessarily want, the sn30 pro is a reasonable size, and muscle memory makes it work for me, but I get why others might want it.

Or, they could give us SNES games, a year of nes has not been enough.

@GrailUK Thanks, the US version just pops more for me. I find the Japanese one a bit flat. But, as you point out its decidedly a personal aesthetic choice. I think this is going to be a great series though, looking forward to Zelda.

The north american one. Not even nostalgia, I just love that image, it screams gaming to me, and more often then not it is the background I use on a desktop.

It's also my favourite image for one of my favourite games, so has a lot going for it for me.

Any word on Doom 3 online multiplayer?

They must have worked out a cost effective fix.

Just pre ordered this yesterday, been of 2 minds on it, but switch really lacks a fun fps with satisfying gun play, other then doom. That Panic Button are doing the port clinched it for me, there's something in that for other companies looking to port games.

Any news on a European release?

The 8bitdo controllers seem to be the best built of the switch controllers I've used, my left joy con is a Mario kart nightmare!

I like the way it looks but like others have said this clearly hasn't taken the same resources as BoTW and its a bit of a cheek to charge like it has. Will play on my SNES mini for top down Zelda, which was only £20 more then retailers are listing this for!

I like this idea with the new consoles coming, in home streaming for my TV via my switch for multiplats and unique switch experiences on the go. Though, having tried both nvidia and Sony's current streaming platforms the latency was appalling, and I'm on a decent fibre line.

My left joy-con drifts, does anyone know if hori's is better?

They look a little like a first person pokemon game using the movement of mirrors edge.

Really would of liked it as pixel art, but that aside, thinking of picking this up having skipped Let's Go. Though if digimon reviews well I might get that instead, only have room for 1 time swamp monster game at a time.

I'd buy both a pro for in the house and maybe a cheaper mini for travelling, I hate travelling with my switch even with cloud back up I always worry about damaging the console I use on my TV. Gah, as it is I'm waiting for a handheld announcement from retropi or one of the other manufacturers for today's biggest manufacture hardware announcement the pi4!

@Chunkboi79 simple really, although all great games, none of those games really pushed something new, but arms is a completely new gameplay mechanic in the spirit of Nintendo. Its accessible, anyone can pick it up and play, but really deep.

It brings something new to the fighting genre, a genre which is defined by a few staple games, and does it in a sphere, the 3d fighter, which has been lackluster for some time.

Smash is the refinement of its genre, BOTW takes the Zelda series into a new genre but one that's popular and Odyssey isn't as good as Galaxy (in my opinion), but arms is this whole new very Nintendo thing. So it's my favourite game so far of this generation, and I think the best for what the Switch is.

Best game on Switch by an absolute mile! It is unbelievably deep but so simple. It will be a future Nintendo classic, it's my favourite game on the system, though I've sunk more hours into splatoon.

I don't get the 60fps thing, my main issue with framerate is smooth, so no jarring drops and I'm happy. Maybe its the anime fan in me, as it often presents at sub 15fps, but, how it looks and if it plays smoothly that's the important part.

I think I'd find 60fps regularly shifting down to 50fps much worse then something that was always unchanged at 30fps. It's fluctuations I find hard.

Though, is this as good as Mario kart is the only thing I want to know? And, as a Mario Kart fan, and owner, are the gameplay differences enough to warrant a purchase?

I'm thinking September announcement of a pokemon bundle for the mini and witcher 3 bundle of the pro, so about 10 weeks time.

I just want a switch pro already, I hope if they do announce they do both at the sane time. It's got to be pushing on for it if they are going to grab the holiday season, though a launch with a pokemon bundle seems like the smartest move.

Fifa had made the list but we still don't have madden, ea seems to hate money as much as Nintendo.

'Buzzlightyear to the rescue' was a great little platformer. One of the best licensed games I can remember.

Hoping power pros gets a western release when it comes later in summer, pretty sure we won't get a doraemon one anytime soon.

Mini switch, no detachable joy cons, no dock, no HD rumble. Yer, it'll be cheaper.

This seems legitimate these companies get the specs from the manufacturing centres, so someone's making a handheld with these specs.

@60frames-please Yep, unless Nintendo are pitching a proper switch 2, next holiday season will crowd them out.

So much of this now it's clearly happening and gaming press have been give behind closed door sight, I imagine more broadly run through the full plan at e3.

So question is now do Nintendo release this financial year, or wait for next holiday season and go up against 2 next gen consoles? Smart moves this year in that context.

Edit: the nvidia contract could mean having to wait for the nvidia reveal of the new chip.

Quake Champions or Brink would be nice, complete lack of multiplayer fps is a clear opportunity.

If this is true an e3 where Sony didn't turn up and the entire gaming press was looking for big news to splash on front pages might have been the opportunity to announce.

If its true and Nintendo didn't use e3 it would be the most Nintendo marketing decision ever! Swear the company hates making money, or been valued well.

I preferred squares presentation, this e3 felt lacking compared to last years.

Might be because I was hoping for hardware or a game streaming announcement.

But, Nintendo didn't talk about any switch quality of life improvements like expansion of back catalogue via Nintendo online beyond the New, and although we're getting a Netflix game we still don't have Netflix!

I was also hoping for some sports franchises, even confirmation of Ubi's new game would have been good, or more importantly a classic style fps with local multiplayer, GoldenEye or timesplitters in nature, the switch is crying out for one. Though, happy to see super lucky tale will certainly pick that up. My highlight switch announcement was from square and is ffviii remaster, that's a day and date buy from me.

Play tons of Wii, still love the motion controls, and let's face it resident evil 4 is 1000% better with the Wii's aiming! Wish GoldenEye had bots though.

This is the one I have the softest spot for, I can't wait for this, or the Nintendo conference!

In home streaming through their new app from Xbox to switch?

This seems just odd, the switch has higher lifetime sales then the xone, the lack of investment isn't a good long term strategy.

Its guttingna lot of their best games are tied to franchises they don't own, bikini bottom, wwe all stars ect.

I'm really excited for this years e3 can't wait to see the new xbox, and hoping for some great switch stuff.

I really, really, want Madden on the go and an fps. Just imagining a golden eye remake with local multiplayer hook up is enough to make me jump up and down.

Also want a story driven 3d platformer. It bugs me that Sony has the 3 big franchises covering that off; sly, ratchet and j&d, Epic Mickey could totally have morphed into that.

And, a new Mario Galaxy game.

My list might be very much a fantasy.

I guess if you're looking to build a cornerstone sports franchise as a gaming company most stuff's locked up tight already. Roller Derby's having a popular moment, though roller hockey is probably an easier gameplay mechanic.

Wow! I can remember these games been ace, I'm really interested in this.

I think the way this has been packaged up is important to any review, value is a core element of a purchase, indie games aren't expected to have AAA production values because they are often priced differently and that comes into the score for example. £30 for all 4 games in the series would be fair, just for the first one not so much.

All Stars style with hulk hogan! Though with 2k sports ongoing rules on streaming not sure I care that much, which stick to the THQ games.

Going to wait for 3 and the Africa campaign.
