Rather have a port of the arcade Ridge Racer games *Rave Racer would be ace!*or a brand new/or remakes of the Pac-Man World games

Only reason people want digital is due to lazyness going to a store to buy the game, or carrying the small cards

Physical will always be better, It's your game, you can share it/sell it, and not worry about the online stuff like if you delete the game by mistake and have to redownload it you only need the server to go down, and it will make your digital games unplayable since it needs to make sure your the owner I seen it happen with the PS3 before.

@Trajan It works with all Switch games.

It depends on how well it will work. * example if the game needs a analog like Smash you can't move*
This is great for Arcade games, or games that can be played with a NES button layout plus shoulder buttons only problem is how much there asking for these.

What is it with Nintendo selling controllers the same price as new games?

@gcunit Would rather have the arcade versions then the NES port it's pretty good for a early famicom release, but the arcade version has more graphics/effects,high score table plus it's never been re-released intill now

also prefer owning the games, then having them tied to a subscription, feels like I'm renting NES games.. XD

and yeah Sonic would be more fitting to a full CGI like the Sonic Unleashed intro/mini films or Anime like Sonic OVA/Sonic Mania

What I don't get is.. who are they making this for? the recent games don't even had real world/human stuff anymore last game that did was Unleashed 10 years ago, even then it was Pixar like

It bad enough when Sonic 06 tired to use real life settings/graphics which starting to look good after this train wreak but whats the point of making a film about Sonic, where it barely even looks like him or his games...

Unless there going out of their way to purposely make the movie like Mario's live action one at least back you could argue this sort of thing has never been done and CGI wasn't there yet, but in 2018 you would expect something better... not worse.

Main problem with this and other compilations like the Namco one there's too many games from their early years like late 70's or early 80s

While it's hard to get some of the better Atari 2600 games, there's a ton of better aged atari games from the late 80's "or say 84 to 90" alot of them haven't been seen in a compilation which would make it more valuable

I would love a compilation of Atari's 7800 which is more like a NES Atari Lynx and their 3D arcade games then more Atari 2600 stuff, same with SEGA I want to see more of their SEGA Model 1,2,3 games Virtua Racing,Daytona,Scud Racer from the 90's

Thing people seem to forget Mario Kart 64 was a launch game for the N64, and while it's awesome for 4 Player matches and some classic tracks.

Crash Team Racing came out 3 years later near the end of the PS1 era and was the last project Naughty Dog did on that system before moving to the PS2/Jak and Dexter

It has more modes/unlockable characters who are actually 3D models rather then sprites like MK64 used and a whole story/adventure mode for 1 single player to me it's kind like the real Crash 4

So honestly your getting alot with Crash only bad thing I could say the PS1 original needs a modern update, and here it is. the closest Mario Kart has come to this game is Mario Kart DS thanks to all those Missions/boss battles

I got a feeling why it's only NES and they can't be brought is due to selling the Mini SNES and NES..

Want SNES games buy the mini. Hopefully Nintendo change their minds and start giving us N64 games would say Game Cube but that seems like asking too much..

@Agramonte Well like I said, NO ONE is asking you to buy it, besides it's clearly not targeted for you, but rather people who didn't have a Wii U which is alot if we being honest here that's why alot of it's games are getting a 2nd chance on the Switch you only got to look at Mario Kart 8 deluxe which is still selling like hot cakes despite being a old Wii U and even Switch game now.

ZBOTW was made for the Wii U rather then being built for the new hardware in mind before it got moved to the Switch due to the Wii U being dead by this point it's nothing like the FIFA port case same with Twilight Princess, it's why it's kinda the last big Nintendo game for the Wii U/Game Cube. and yet both games still have a high price even being rather old games

Unlike Zelda I'm sure this will go down in price, never said I was going to get this day one, atm I'm busy with Smash Bros ultimate, And if I can pull myself away from that, I got mega drive ultimate collection and Pokemon let's go to finish, should be enough intill Animal Crossing/Luigi's Mansion 3/Pokemon 2019 come out, not to mention the third party stuff like Doom 2 and Wolf 2

@Agramonte No one is asking you to buy this, and it's not like it's even a new thing, the PS4/Xbox one had a ton of PS3 games ported being like this, just the game and all the dlc that came out when it was new seeing how many skipped on the Wii U, it's nice to have these games on the Switch running better and made portable

as for the pricing, you could argue the same with the Zelda breath of the wild and twilight princess it was a launch game ported from the last gen and still costs more then the new games say Smash Bros ultimate.

lastly there isn't much point Nintendo making a new Super Mario Bros game, when it's going to be much like the ones before it, plus it already has a bit of new content so that's enough.

@NIN10DOXD Because Sonic Mania happen, Disney got Sonic right in the Wreak it Ralph movies and the Sonic Boom cartoon was alright.

and the new Sonic Racing game looks decent.. It's not much but SEGA's doing more with Sonic then Namco is doing with Pac-Man.

Well on the bright side... this makes Sonic 06 look good.

But really what is the point of making a film of a well known series and giving the character a hyper realistic look to the point he looks nothing like Sonic from his games and Consoles have come a long way, it's the 2D era or early 3D era anymore

You also seem to forget we gotten Snake in the Wii Smash but never saw a Metal Gear game on the Wii not counting the 3DS remake of MGS3 or how cloud was in Smash Wii U but never got a port of final fantasy 7.

Just found with the Phantasy star on the Japanese eshop.. the whole release has a full english setting guess it depends whatever your system is set to so really there is NOTHING to translate or hold up the western release...

Would rather have the Sega Model 3 version of SEGA Rally 2, the Dreamcast port was awful

I really don't get this, what is there to translate? they already released it on the 3DS in all regions and it's a racing game so there isn't much work here..

plus it's a download release, it should be able to release worldwide.

I don't see the issue with this, when you buy this and wanna smash online, you want to play as your favorite character, not grinding the game intill you do.

It's not like the dark age of gaming where you could only fully enjoy a game unless your really into gaming, we have options there's stuff for new players and stuff for people who want a challenge.

as for PS4 Remote Play it's not very portable hardly works outside

@Agramonte Animal Crossing, Luigi's mansion, More Pokemon, More Smash, all that in portable and home format, one system, yeah 2019 is going to be good year for Nintendo, specially since these are the sort of games that only come once a console's life cus there that big and important.

So for your Pre-orders for 2019... guess your be playing them on your PS Vita? oh wait there's isn't a portable option with Sony, anymore. I forgot. X3 and I'm sure the games keep you busy intill next year when they release the next version.

@Cobalt Ya do realize Switch games are alot bigger then PS1 games right? PS1's Crash 1 to 3 is "just" about 1gb... the Switch's remasters is 5.2GB See the problem?

Sony have really gone cheap with this,game list and emulation as well.. it's worse then Pal PSN Store's PS1 Classics your better off just getting a NES mini and mod that to play PS1 games... or buying a PS Vita/PSP or PS TV ^^

With the Wiis and Wii Us yeah there were simple they were aimed for causal gamers and families afterall bur the red Mario 25th anniversary editions did have Donkey Kong with the missing pie level was neat for retro gamers didn't cost much more either at the time
