really tho this makes little sense, if sakurai is really "over worked" and such then hire more staff to work on the game, it's not like Smash doesn't print money

@spirit_flame Cus Nintendo released arcade versions of their NES games which often have changes making them different from the console versions, Super Mario Bros was changed into Vs Super Mario Bros with new level layouts, some from Lost World, a high score table, VS Wrecking Crew was a Co-op using two screens, VS Golf had actual music and a female version, Vs Duck Hunt had more graphics and a bonus round where you could shoot the dog tho for this one and a few others I think it's mostly the same as the NES version, just with arcade settings, needs coins/high score table

@Bunkerneath Dunno Aladdin on Genesis was a solid game
Lion King was a bit hard tho

@NotTelevision it better be the Genesis version there remaking, otherwise there won't be much point
tho Virgin made all the versions of The Lion King and the Genesis version Aladdin, so I gotta feeling it will that version, seeing I don't see any mention of Capcom on this

@Varkster remember seeing Rusty Pup in early Wii U days too, thought it was cancelled or something, unless it comes to the Switch I aren't going to play it

SEGA needs him to talk to them, start releasing some great NEW games! most of his stuff were masterpieces, SEGA could really use a few modern classics

@Moroboshi876 Well I played the remake of Puzzle & Action: Tant-R that was on the PS2 SEGA AGES classics, along with the game gear port, it's kinda like Wariowere but mix in with more puzzle style mini games but there aren't much to write home about

@YANDMAN Shouldn't be surprised it's SEGA's orders, and yea most of the games you mention, haven't been official ported or nothing outside of Mame and SuperModel 3 emulators, would great to see these games that are popular on SEGA AGES rather then odd Spin offs of bonanza bros there's enough bleeding Sega puzzle games on the Switch and yea I would like to see a proper home port of Enduro Racer tho the master system/mark 3 ports were good in their own right I thought M2 hinted at doing it during the 3DS 3D Classics

@JRJalapeno More then likely only thing stopping them from releasing it on the West Eshop is translating the e-manual, the game should be in full English

Don't think I bother with this, out of all the games under SEGA's name M2 keep choosing rubbish ones, why not Virtua Fighter? make some of the unused fighters playable? https://tcrf.net/Virtua_Fighter_(Arcade) or bring over the other outrun games like Turbo/Out Runners, or bring some of the Saturn/Dreamcast games they said they were going to do

at this rate I'm sticking with Mame

As long the online mode is back, along with the pre-order dlc skins from the 2009 release then this is going to be awesome

Well the way I see it, the less it looks like SEGA's Sonic, less I'm going to treat this as a real Sonic movie other then the names and really off model designs, it just looks like a bootleg film which I could care less about

@JohnnyC Problem is that's all traveller's tales makes anymore, they used to be really good with license games the two Toy Story games, Mickey Mania now it's the same Lego game since the PS2 days samely gameplay, just with different licences/skins

by now most people would of already gotten a 3DS or a few I have 4

there's still software to buy and dlc, and playing the system.

like for one, the Switch doesn't have a proper VC, unless your happy with NES games, your going to need a New 3DS to play SNES,Game Boy and Game Gear games

and two most kids/adults who can't afford a Switch yet, are still using their 3DS

how come the 360 and PS3 get better versions with actual online co-op/death matches... and nearly into 2020 all we get is DRM and local modes

@StarFoxRunner Doom 3 seems to be fine even it's missing a online battle mode this is the first version of Doom 1 and 2 to have this sort of rubbish

even the 360 ports which work on XBONE too don't have all this nonsense, and they have actual online battle/co-op modes

@sandman89 kinda, but the version is based on the PC original, so you have more levels the GBA version is missing a few, runs and looks better too

SEGA has alot of amazing original games under it's name, where the heck is Daytona? SEGA Rally?

Streaming is just a plain bad idea. basically shows the hardware can't run the game, so it has to rely on a more power console/pc hardware else where.

If your having internet problems then you can't play game intill ya back online not to mention the lag, Mario Maker already has a ton of that ruining it's vs/co-op online mode

and top it all off, when the severs go down/close down, you won't be able to use it anymore even hacking won't help unless they set up another powerful pc to run the game for the Switch

I mean if Steaming is the future, then you might as well get a PC/portable PC to play your games

As the Switch has proper games, people know what it is a home/portable console unlike when People couldn't tell what the Wii U was and it's gotten good third parties since the Wii U era
Overall it's a great system so it will have a long life, only improvements it needs is a better battery and keep the games coming

It WAS a disservice to now have released a real Animal Crossing game during the Wii U era, instead giving us that rubbish Mario Party knock off

Harvest Moon 64 looks more impressive then this
