Why doesn't Sega own the right to the damn music they use in their own damn games? I just don't understand. If you ask someone to compose music for your damn game, make sure that the music he composes belongs to your company, period.

Art style and direction is weak, but the combo sounds promising. Let's hope this actually releases in playable form, first.

Why should Nintendo do either when MK8 is the single best selling game on the console, and shows no sign of stopping? The game continues to sell even 4 years later, at full price, and you want Nintendo to release more DLC or MK9? Are you new to Nintendo? Preposterous.

Meh. I've been replaying some GB games and none of them have really stood the test of time. They're relics that belong in the past. GBA, however, is a treasure trove of great games that definitely deserve to be revisited.

At this point, Nintendo should be remaking all of the games, from Beginnings to Mother 3, all in the LttP remake style. They owe it to their fans, to make up for years of Nintendo's *****.

I absolutely despise anything relating to Fortnite, but this is exactly what Nintendo needs to do to break Smaus into the mainstream. Put her in that garbage game, release Trilogy HD for Switch, a 2D Metroid to tied us over, and then Metroid Prime 4 for Xmas. Multi-million sold, guaranteed.

Gaming has really gone to ***** if garbage like CoD takes precedence over games with actual creative merit. It's sad; modern gamers have some horrible taste.

If I were Crews, I'd put up my own money to Nintendo and head up the localization process. He has the funds, why doesn't he do it? There is an incredible localization already completed by some talented fans, I've played it, and it is easily comparable to anything Nintendo could do. Crews needs to put his money and star power on this.

People really overestimate just how successful those consoles were, how much money Nintendo spent on making them, and what their ROI was. If they didn't continue the line, it's obviously because it wasn't making them as much money and they anticipated. Trust and believe, if the things were selling like Animal Crossing, we would be at the NGC classic right now.

Six million. On ONE console. I wonder how that compares to World, which was on 2 consoles and PC, during the same period.

This is exactly why Nintendo has been coasting for the last 2 years. Why make any games or listen to what their fans want when they can release the bare minimum amount of games and still print money? I can't wait until another company releases a similar product and puts the fear of God into Nintendo. Maybe then they can get off their asses and make games again.

The art style alone makes this an eventual purchase for me. I much prefer a striking, stylized art direction than realism, any day of the week.

What the hell is up with Japan and these weird-ass words they come up with? I'm sure it looks just as cool as random Kanji does to people who can't read kanji, but it comes off really awkward and strange. Do they not have ANY native English speakers in any of their development teams?

Sony already holds stake in the company, but if they manage to buy the company I will be absolutely pissed. Every game from then on will be some SJW/Woke garbage dude to Cali Sony's putrid influence and that will destroy every franchise we hold dear. Let's hope that never happens.

When I say that I love pixel art, I really mean pixel art done like this. This is what all those "retro" inspired games should aim to look like, as a minimum requirement.

So, we're back to arrogant Nintendo, aren't we? Every time Nintendo is doing good financially, they start making the worst possible decisions. This has been proven time and time again. It's actually unexpected.

Digital artbook instead of physical? Nope.

I really don't understand 2 things about people who undertake these types of projects;
1. You will be stopped by Nintendo. Period. Keep your mouths shut about it until you complete the game entirely.
2. Why not devote those resources to creating an actual original game with original characters?

I'm playing the game now, and as someone who absolutely DESPISES mobile gaming of any kind, I am actually enjoying it a lot. The art direction is gorgeous, the controls are serviceable, and the action is fast and fluid. I really hope that the game comes to the Switch at some point, though. That's when it will truly shine.

I have a lot of respect for Naka-san and his work, but i just can't get over how utterly HIDEOUS the art direction for this game is. Did they focus test the designs at all, because if they did, I'm sure more than one gamer would have objected to such fuggly ass designs. It's like Lisa Frank levels of hideous.

This is the worst take a developer could possibly have. The Last Story is a game that DESERVES to be remastered, remade, or just plain released on Switch. It's ridiculous that a whole team of people can devote years of their life to a project just to later say, "We're not interested in revisiting that again". This is exactly why Sakaguchi has had such a difficult time finding a hit since.

It's a property now owned by Microfot. What's there to be surprised about? If Sony would ever be so lucky as to have a character in Smash (LOL), its amiibo would say sony under it.
