So, let me gt this straight; people are okay paying $60 for Sony's interactive movies with less than 10 hours of game play and almost ZERO replay-ability, but somehow can't understand why a 2-D game in a revered franchise deserves the same price? Someone help me understand how that makes any conceivable sense.
You know what's funny? If it weren't for the morons willing to spend so much money on these items, scalpers wouldn't even exist. It's the people who are buying them that are the problem. Stop giving in to scalpers and they will stop doing what they do. Until then, they have every right to take advantage of those that are low IQ and desperate.
It's crazy because, as Nintendo is both publishing and paying for the development of this game, it's entirely up to Nintendo to give the green light for him to speak about the game. He is basically between a rock and a hard place. People need to stop taking video games so damn seriously, already. Get a damn life! Maybe if you had one, you wouldn't be sitting around waiting for a damn game to come out.
I have Xenoblade X, still in its original plastic, and I refuse to play it until I'm certain that Nintendo won't bring it over to Switch. I am still convinced that it will be a Super Switch launch title. Fingers crossed
I REALLY hope that true Metroid fans show up for this game. If we can get this game selling upwards of 5 million copies, we can ensure that Nintendo keeps developing the games on a timely basis.
I LOVED what Mercurystream did with Samus Returns, and I know that Dread is going to be a continuation of that work. I really hope that Nintendo finally makes the team a second party once Dread sells well on the Switch.
The only reason it has a "perfect" meta score is that it's not a game. It literally has ZERO gameplay elements. Comparing it to, say, LoZ is an insult to it and any other REAL game.
I have zero interest in visual novels aside from Ace Attorney, but I've heard nothing but good things about how weird, tripy and deranged this game can get. I'm in!
Why doesn't he use his money o back a few games, make them successful and go from there? This back alley, back of a van gaming ***** is not working out for him.
They can still make those games for Switch. But since the console is selling without much effort on Nintendo's part, why would they? This is complacent Nintendo we are currently experiencing. We won't see these types of games until Switch either suffers a massive setback or a serious competitor enters the ring.
I went in already trying to dismiss it but then I saw; 1. Better monster and character designs than Pokemon 2. Use of guns and fir fights 3. Monster Slave labor 4. Using a sheep as a shield while you shoot at your enemies.
Already looking better than Sword and Shield in all aspects.
Nintendo is at its absolute worst right now, creatively speaking. When their consoles are selling well and their profit is skyrocketing, they become complacent and simply do not produce the content we expect from them. This happens every single time, without fail. This E3 will be no different. Nintendo will show the bare minimum and blame Covid like everyone else. Don't set yourself up for disappointment, people. Successful Nintendo is worst Nintendo.
These companies love to blame their laziness on Covid, when their games development schedule and release dates are known for months (even years) ahead. Nintendo, like very other company, will blame Covid, even though most companies have complete games they are sitting on just so that they can pad out their schedule when things start to wane. Arrogant Nintendo is worst Nintendo.
The only games I never replay are Sony games. They are always one and done experiences, especially their interactive movies like TLOU. There really is zero incentive to play those games more than once. Games like Super Metroid, however? I've replayed that more times than I can count.
So the character art is great but teh actual game is Chibi nonsense where you can KNOCK THEIR CLOTHES OFF? Exactly what I expected from this. Appealing only to degenerate man-children.
I just don't understand teh appeal of GO; it's not a real Pokemon game, it's severely limited, it doesn't even have every Pokemon. Who still plays it and why? Why do they spend so much money on it? It's no wonder GF releases such piss-poor mainline games these days. Why should they make any effort when their mobile trash makes all teh profit?
I think the best possible choice would be "SWITCH PRO". It's not a successor to Switch, so Switch 2 wouldn't make any sense. They don't want a "WiiU" debacle again, but knowing Nintendo, they will ***** it up one way or the other. Ultimately, NEW Nintendo Switch will probably be the final name. It's exactly the type of goofy move that the dinosaur executives at NCL will make.
I recently played it and the only thing I liked about it was the battle system. It reminded me a bit of one of Undertale's battles. I couldn't get past the hideous, dated graphics, though. I like retro gaming, but it has to be at least 16-bit and up.
You cannot compare a visual novel to an actual game, you just can't. How can anyone in their right mind say that a visual novel is better than any game, let alone one that is as critically adored as BoTW? It's freaking asinine and borderline insulting. A visual novel barely qualifies as a game as it is; it's an interactive book. IMHO. comparing it to a REAL game makes absolutely zero sense, period.
Dammit, Sega. Why is it so hard for you to make a single decent 3D Sonic game and why do you keep trying? Sonic belongs in 2D, and games like Ori prove that there is still a lot of life in high quality 2D games.
Good for him. Video game fans are toxic and I'm sure he has grown tired of it. I know I would have. I hope he gets to rest and not have to deal with any more entitled monsters complaining about, "ANOTHER SWORD FIGHTER IN SMASH!!!"
This is wrong in every conceivable way. Amiibo are toys with added incentive/functionality. You get a neat-looking statue of your favorite character, and an added bonus by having so useless, arbitrary functionality in certain games. They are not integral to the enjoyment of the game, and they are not required to play the full experience. They are bonuses, plain and simple. Stop acting as if you don't still get the same experience without them, because you do.
No. I have no interest in playing red and black games in 2021. Every Virtual Boy should be remade from the ground up for Switch, period. It's the one console that most Nintendo fans have zero experience with, and the games themselves would just need a modern coat of paint, perfect for modern, lazy Nintendo.

Re: 'Castlevania Advance Collection' Possibly Revealed By Rating In Australia
It should be a REMADE collection, not the same ugly-ass games re-released.

They announced Metroid Dread and it comes out in less than 6 months. That more than makes up for the lack of Metroid Prime news.
