So, a small studio makes a successful game that will likely skyrocket them to new heights, and former employees are coming forward to allege misconduct and a poor working environment? Would these people have even bothered doing this if Metroid had flopped? Opportunists always show their true colors whenever someone or something achieves success.
Good thing I'm taking my sweet time with this game, not rushing it AT ALL. Hopefully, they'll get this fixed before I have to get to that particular part.
This game is everything I wanted and more. I more absolutely in love with everything it does, since it does it so damn well. I haven't had this much fun with a game since BOTW!
The games are decades old and most of them don't hold up anymore. If we were talking NGC/Wii games, then it's a different story. N64 games are relics that look and play horribly today.
Games ARE art. What do you call something that is the culmination of artwork, writing, design, composition, and creative vision? Why is this still an argument?
I have a launch Switch that I dropped in Osaka and the controller keeps popping off when I play. I really NEED a new Switch, just due to that reason alone, but imma wait for the Super Switch. At this point, the 2022 release is pretty much a lock.
Anyone else annoyed that it took these companies 5 years and 100 million consoles sold to realize that it's worth releasing games on Switch? It's like they purposefully ignore Nintendo and then rush to dump whatever garbage they can when the console succeeds.
For those with a launch Switch that might be a bit worn out from years of use, this upgrade seems like a nice alternative. I have a launch day Switch that is a bit beat up, and I'd love to get this, but knowing Nintendo, the Super Switch will probably release next year.
I despise anything Disney touches and this is no exception. Has Square even released KH on Switch other than that lame ass rhythm game? What a lame choice. LMAO
At this point, just reveal who he is already and move on. I love Smash, but I'm ready for the next thing. One game being dragged on for years is not good for the industry.
You want to be happy about Konami making games again (as monkey paw as it might seem), but then you remind yourself that this is only being done as a response to Covid. Had Covid not decimated Konami's pachinko and health club business, they would still be the horrible company we've grown to despise.
You know, I would have called bullcrap on this before Covid, but Konami got hit super hard last year since their Pachinko parlours and fitness clubs were closed. I guess they need to have a steadier revenue stream than just those two. It's sounding like we might finally have game-making Konami back.
@Itachi2099 Exactly. At this point, Bayonetta is as much a Nintendo character as Zelda. Two exclusive games out of three in the franchise pretty much cements that.
@Spagetti69 It's not a damn spoiler. You people are so obsessed with being "spoiled" that you don't realize that companies do this to create anticipation. Don't want to be "spoiled"? Get off the internet.
Sometimes I think that SE has no native English speakers employed. I mean, some of the names they choose for their games make no damn sense and aren't even cute in the way some Engrish titles are.
I loved how people were so sure we weren't gonna get another direct until March. Goes to show that Nintendo fans know nothing about how Nintendo operates. Let's hope we see some real surprises and not just games we already know are coming.

Re: Talking Point: Do You Have A 'Way' You Play Certain Switch Games?
Nope. Metroid Dread is a "biggest TV in your house+ volume up+ dark blue lights" game.
Re: Feature: We Finally Finished The Game With An Almost-Perfect Metascore
Visual novels are NOT games.

ALso, EMMI encounters are the best part of the game. PERIOD.

Free.

Re: Here's Your First Look At The Switch Box Art For Kirby And The Forgotten Land
Looks bland and pretty uninspiring. I wouldn't look twice at it in a shop, TBH.

Re: Pokémon Legends: Arceus Won't Actually Be An Open-World Game
They can't do anything right, can they? Gotdamn, it's like the company refuses to enter modern gaming.
Re: Review: Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl - A Strong Platform Fighter With Polish Problems
No other company can make a Smash-like game because no other company makes games like Nintendo. That being said, I'm glad this game is at least good.
Re: Poll: Metroid Dread Is Out Today On Switch, Are You Getting It?
I'm waiting for the damn delivery guy to give me my damn game. It says he's 10 stops away. I want my damn game!!!!

Re: Random: Ever Wonder What Metroid's Samus Aran Would Look Like In Marvel vs. Capcom 2?
Give me a traditional Nintendo fighting game. 2D pixel art, Smash roster, and combo's/supers like Arc Systems games.

Who in their ever-loving right mind removes a preinstalled screen protector?

Re: Feature: So, Who Will Be The Final Fighter In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate?
@SwitchVogel I'd laugh my ass off.
Re: Feature: So, Who Will Be The Final Fighter In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate?
For the last time, Goku CANNOT be in Smash because he did not originate as a video game character.
Re: Random: Smash Bros. Twitter Encourages Fans To Let Their Imaginations "Run Wild" Before The Final Fighter Reveal
@ValZ They can only be games characters. Meaning, characters that began their life in games, not animated shows.

They should have used this voice instead of the teenage boy they used for the commercial. She sounds so much better than he did.
