Exactly the one that @Entrr_username mentioned above on this forum: to install the DLC from the eShop before launching the game.

This is exactly what happened to me! I was just playing BL2 while the game updated itself and became unplayable: it crashes on the title screen after pressing the A button. I have contacted 2K tech support but they only said that they are investigating the issue and ask me to wait. Any ideas what to do?

EDIT: I have downloaded the DLC from the Eshop and the game works just fine. It's a shame though that the 2K tech support was unable to give me this solution and I only learned about it here (thank you @Entrr_username!).

EDIT2: The 2K tech support just gave me the solution today. It took almost 3 days for them to solve this issue, but I appreciate they solved the problem anyway.

Thank you for your detailed answer! It's very helpful because your analysis confirms me in my initial feeling that I don't need this game at the moment. Maybe I'll get it on a sale if the price drop is significant. Happy gaming!

Sniper Elite 3 is a very good tactical shooter. Also, it runs very good on Switch. Haven't played SE4 yet but I think it's at least equally good. So, if you ask me, it's both.

The only ones I got this October were Horace and ScourgeBringer. I'm very happy with both. Horace is a real gem because of its unpredictability: you never know what the game will throw at you.

Is it made in Flash?

This is nonsense. Being hybrid constitutes the magic of the Switch. I was never interested in Switch Lite.

Got myself ScourgeBringer and Horace. Both games are excellent. SB is fast, chaotic and frenetic plus it has super tight controls. They rightly say it's Celeste mixed with Dead Cells. Crazy fun, quite difficult though.

Horace is way different: a truly innovative story-based platformer, packed with funny references. With its hero stylized after Miner Willy it's a true gem for somebody like me who started gaming on a ZX Spectrum.

It certainly has: look at the way Horace's eyes are stylized. Don't they remind you the eyes of the Spectrum character? Also, there is a minigame that looks totally like "Horace Goes Skiing" (check the previous "feature" art in NL).

This is a fantastic horizontal shooter. Way better than Scramble which was the original game based on that hardware.

It caught my attention because I still remember the Beam Software's trilogy of Horace games for ZX Spectrum published in the early eighties. And the devs actually draw from these old games. The main protagonist is clearly stylized after the old Horace, and on top of that one of the Spectrum games, Horace Goes Skiing, appears here as one of the arcade minigames.

I hate that big-headed artstyle. Same that AC.

One of the analog sticks of my DS4 started drifting heavily after a year and a half. And I did handle it with care.

I've just finished SE3 on Switch and really loved it. A very good port of a great game that gives you amazing level of freedom and lots of tactical action.

Happy to see that. I bought it on day one after reading some reviews and play it everyday since then. This game is awesome and really stands out in the crowd of pixelated metroidvanias.

Exactly my guess. The Messenger was so good that now the expectations are high for these type of games.

How is this game in comparison to Enter the Gungeon, gameplay-wise?

I wonder why the Sky Gamblers series is not being mentioned here, neither in the article nor in the comments. Not an outstanding game but still a quite decent arcade sim, especially the WW2-based ones.

Probably I sprayed too much cleaner under the analog rubber and the alcohol from the cleaner melted something inside. That's my guess, at least.

I have completely broken my joycon trying to fix the drift by spraying it w/ contact cleaner. The L1 button ceased to function and I had to replace the whole pair.

No Alwa's Legacy here? It was the only new game I got this month and it plays fantastic.

The Western one is just too dark for me.

Well, not quite since there's a whole lot of 2d metroidvanias that employ a combat system inspired by Souls games. Salt&Sanctuary or Blasphemous are good examples.

This looks kind of like the old Gauntlet games.

Breath of Fire on the 19th place?! That's one of the best classic rpgs, way better than FF games of that time!

Comix Zone for Genesis. But it was much less polished, however not a bad game.

That would be a day one purchase for me. Hope it comes out in Europe!

I use Big Ben's "Go Play" grip for a year or so and it's very satisfying. I just cannot imagine how could I play on a bare switch before.

My left analogue stick started drifting after some year and a half. I've tried to clean it with compressed air to very meagre effect. Then I used the contact cleaner. Drifting stopped but the L stick ceased to work, so I needed to buy a new pair of joycons.
