The last scene from the movie "Tár" actually presented something in the line of a Monster Hunter symphonic gig.

I do love the series as an arcade head. But for this price they could include some more content: cabinets' pics, posters, leaflets, etc. Also, their frontend layout is very basic. Would like to see something more easy on the eye.

I only want Shining Force. But man, I want it so badly!

Definitely! The graphics are not bad but the way they mix their colour palettes seems random and makes my eyes sore. Still interested in the game, though.

A good point. OT2 is a bigger game in terms of budget and personnel employed, so may be it's not a fair comparison. Actually I got all 3 of them, played a little bit of each not finishing any yet. To me OT2 is the best when it comes to the characters and story-telling. SoS got those super nice visuals and CE is a very solid RPG too. Not easy to pick one. I would recommend all 3 to the fans of the genre.

This is really awesome. This port was already outstanding in its previous version and was critically acclaimed. Despite that, they put their time and effort to make it even better. It should be an example for all the developers.

There will be a Direct, I guess. And full of 1st party stuff but nothing on NS2. This will be a Direct meant to squeeze as much as possible from the current-gen console.

Got Blashpemous 2 yesterday and it will be my game of the weekend. And maybe some Sea of Stars on the PS5.

How is this game now? Has it been patched? I like the overall idea and the graphics but I'm put off by the hearsay it doesn't run well on Switch. Anyone knows if it is any better in 2023?

I already have 4 their controllers, and an arcade stick (custom modded), so I don't really need it. But how exciting it would be to grab one!

I wonder what happens to NSO when Switch becomes obsolete. Will the games disappear? Or will they let us keep them forever on our systems?

Updated. Don't need glitches anyway and want to play the game as intended by the creators. It's great enough to trust them.

I don't like it when they mix old-school pixel graphics with hi-res graphics in the menus and stats. These styles just don't match and when they come together the screen looks like a mess. This was the reason I could not play Dragon's Quest remakes and the Tactics Ogre remaster.

Now this looks ugly!

I don't need these games to be original if they stay playable, well-designed and meaty!

I have both a Switch and a PS5 but I would say that the Switch is my primary console. I spend much more time playing it than the PS5 and buy more games for it.

Management games are not my cup of tea, but that review was nice to read.

Anybody here played this game? Is it fun and, if so, in what way? Never played it but I used to like Advance Wars and (before that) Cannon Fodder for Amiga.

How lucky we are to live in the Switch era and look at things like this as just some curios. Imagine the mainstream games looking this way.

Actually, I don't like this one coming out so close to XC3. It effectively provides people like us from kicking off both games on the release day which is always a pleasure.

My Switch runs ver. 1.7.1 and claims this is the latest. And it's July already.

Technically speaking it was probably Pong but the first game I really dived into was Jet Set Willy for the ol' Speccy. It gave that incredible sense of exploration despite the limited resources.

Same here! Metroidvanias are one of my favorite genres and I've read it's a good one, but after a couple of hours I've lost any incentive to play it. At least it performs well on the PS5 so maybe I'll give it another go one day.

It may lure you with the earthboundish vibes and then turn out to be an underdeveloped crap. Actually, I don't have time and patience to play RPGs short of top tier ones. On the other hand, there is still a chance that it'll be a unexpected gem.

Well, on Switch it may be Shredder's Revenge or Triangle Strategy so far. But my REAL game of the year is Elden Ring (it may well be my game of the decade).

Same here! Love them classics but Atari 2600 level is kinda too much. That's why I'm more hyped on that AtariMania collection as it features the modern remakes of those classics. It drops on Switch this Summer. It's actually kinda weird that they do two similar releases just one after another.

Don't mean to hurt or disrespect anyone, it's just me. Just wanted to express my own deeply rooted and honest aesthetic impression.

Smurfs were always my most disliked cartoon franchise. I just couldn't stand how visually ugly they were, even as a kid.

I'm a fan of Fire Emblem and SRPGs, but I could never get into Warriors as these games seem all too generic, mindless and boring to me. It's a waste that they do a second FE game like this instead of making a proper one.

This looks cool but I don't really need the console. I wish it worked with my Switch!
