I personally avoid spoilers where I can. I don’t watch trailers of games nor movies only teasers.

And the part of having a game before release... that happened to me a lot.

@Doktor-Mandrake lol what? Have you seen the bugs in sonic games lately, the cringey storyline, the random crazy redesigns of characters. Ever read reviews of sonic games? The fact that the series sold low does also not suprise me.

Last good sonic game was mania. And that was made by a fan who loves the series.

@Teksetter buying a company that struggles to survive is most of the times not a good investment, however with how SEGA messes up their games it COULD be a good call.

Persona should have gone multiplatform by now, Sonic should have their games made by another studio.

@Bunkerneath I disagree, yeah having digital or physical games ensure that you can play your games forever, especially physical games.

It could be that the servers shut down in 10 years or maybe even in 1 years but them seems unlikely. However if you had your fun with the game was that not worth the money to begin with.

@teo_o that could be true (about the cost) the good thing on the market that’s happening right now is that OLED panels are starting to become smaller. See 48 inch OLED TV’s and more laptops with an OLED panel. That alongside a few brands like LG that starts to mass producing them even more and Samsung and the like focusing on MicroLed etc.

Hopefully this means cheaper displays, monitors, TV’s etc.

This or an OLED panel or a IGZO will atleast suffice for me. I don’t need 4K in handheld mode but FULL HD with a different type of panel would be very nice.

@DTfeartheBEARD yeah but kinda makes it useless in certain situations like when I was at the cinema’s lobby. Waiting an hour for movie and just popping up your switches to smash would be nice but lagg ruined that moment. Of course you can have better experiences if you are in a remote place with no wireless interference.

Out of all games I disagree with Smash, one screen is just perfect for that game. With 2 Switches I always had lagg issues with that game.

@Kimyonaakuma In my humble opinion, the only Nintendo published games that look very sharp are Smash Bros. Ultimate, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Mario Odyssey, Super Mario Party, Mario Tennis Aces, Animal Crossing, Clubhouse’s 51 Worldwide Games, Splatoon 2, Paper Mario and that brain game training. (Huh they are almost all 60fps! Poor horizon...)

No idea about ARMS but looks also top tier.
Zelda looks great but not as great as the above. Draw distance is pretty bad on that game.
Astral looks good but that’s it.
Xenoblade games,both, look okay-ish.
Luigi’s Mansion looks also good. Could have been way sharper.
Pokken Tournament plays at a low around HD res. Not full HD but simple HD.
FE: 3 Houses could also been way better.
The Warrior games also could have been better.

Playing mostly on a 55 inch OLED screen by the way.

@impurekind you are right but people here just outright hate Apple and Epic but since Epic does more on the gaming market they hate them even more.

@Eel Walmart has competitors. If you don’t like that go to Home Depot or Amazon or Costco or Lowe’s etcetera.
Now on PC where do you game if you want to play a game? Steam, EA Play, GoG, Ubisoft play store, Green man Gaming, Amazon etc.

Now on consoles where do you go for digita games? Digital codes on a giftcard are gone in Europe. So you can’t buy them in (game) stores anymore. You are only left with the eshop and it’s prices.

I don’t see a problem with platform holder lowering the % they take from a digital sale. Or even better a store being opened from a competitor on their online platform.

1. Apple/Sony/Microsoft/Nintendo/do have a monopoly on the iOS/Playstation/Xbox/Switch platform, the AppStore/PS store/Xbox game Store/eShop is the only allowed store.
2. With their own games/services they have a huge advantage over other game publishers.

Yeah I like Nintendo and Apple and other brands and stuff but that does not mean that everything they do is good for the consumer.

Heck even Microsoft along with Spotify made up a coalition to fight against Apple!

But here is kicker Microsoft did that but they have not done it for Xbox!! That’s how hypocrite this is.

@Switcheroot the same case can be made against Sony, Xbox store, Nintendo’s online gamestore etc because they have a monopoly over there. Physical? Yeah you can buy them at many different stores (whether it’s online or in the shop itself).

They are right tho. The same stuff happened with Microsoft and Internet Explorer.

I don’t care about Epic’s Fornite or their other games but for the sake of online stores I hope they win. 30% tax going to Google, Sony, Nintendo, Steam, Apple etc. is too high.

I’m not saying that he IS broken but he LOOKS like he can be broken. His edgeguarding skills look through the roof. Down tilt looking very good. Just need to see other killing moves. But yeah he could be a very nice char.

He still is subjected to changes but as with all other characters the only one who got a visible change was Banjo & Kazooie’s down tilt attack.

@TimboSlice Earth at this moment is top tier, it does the most dmg and if have the orange/legendary quality you 4 hit people... combine it with shock and you can attack in the air and CQC. If you stun someone with the shock thing then throw the boulder, and slam the earth twice you OHKO almost all people with no counterplay.
Atleast that’s my experience.

Game is still fun for a free multiplayer game. I have seen way worse.

@Zequio I just pref the SNES version, no hate for the NES version. It’s still 60 bucks might as well leave it for someone else.

@Entrr_username actually they can but it would seem petty and 60 fps does not make a bad game good. It would just be more fluid while still sucking.

All I want is Nintendo saying that a stable 60 fps is required for all games. Even their own and in multiplayer.

Just make a new DK or Rayman game.

Toei is really upping their quality with Persona 5: Scamble and this game.

More a focused story instead of 30 chars that joined each other for a stupid reason.
