Re: Soapbox: Confounded By The Animal Crossing: New Horizons Cloud Save Situation? You're Not Alone

BrintaPap

@Jayvir I really think this is worth talking about and not blown up.

What if you get a replacement Switch for your older one? What if its gets stolen?
Then atleast you could download it from the cloud, the reason Nintendo introduced could saves to us right.
Why is it so hard for Nintendo just to let people transfer you save files for a singleplayer (yes there is multiplayer) game. Is is not a game where you profit so well of it from cheating even if you did it.

If there is a new Switch coming out (Pro or normal variant) I could see myself buying it.

Re: Nintendo Was "Fine" With Platinum Releasing The Wonderful 101 Remaster On Other Platforms

BrintaPap

@Nintyfan speak for yourself.

As a gamer you should speak out against exclusives. I am glad more people want (former) exclusives on more platforms.
I really don’t know why people feel like some games should stay exclusive as if its hurting them.
Some guys would rather have a game gather dust on a old console rather then have it available for millions of people on other platforms just because “it does not feel right”

Let the fanboying be gone for once and always.
Let the big 3 have a battle for consumer by focusing on hardware, software, special features (PS Now, Xbox Gamepass, kinect etc.
Why can other company’s be called out for exclusive things but Sony, Microsoft & Nintendo can’t.

You say that a unique library is what drives a console. Is that why the gamecube and the wii u were not so succesful consoles?

But I guess we are on a Nintendo fan site so asking for Astral Chain on a other platform gets you downvoted, asking for Persona 5 is not going to that though.

Re: Wonderful 101 Confirmed For Switch, But There's A Catch

BrintaPap

@westman98 ~15.000 times 60 is 900.000 Slightly less then a million.
Also Nintendo does NOT earn 60 dollars/euro from a game, you have tax that also comes in. Further you have shipping, the store also wanting a cut, packing/pressing the game. And stores gets 30% so nah your calculation is more then a bit off.

Re: Rumour: Wonderful 101 On Switch Teased (Again) By PlatinumGames

BrintaPap

@Zach there is some truth to that.
If I had a company who made a product that commercially failed and there seems to be a bit demand for it (and lets be honest... the people in comment sections are just a few in total game sales) I would not risk losing money again, no I would gauge intrest in through Kickstarter. Saves losing money and you hurt no one.

Also it seems that Nintendo does not have intrest in publishing this game themselves on Switch.

Also sorry for not sorting my text I’m on mobile.

Re: Talking Point: How Much Is Your Video Game Collection Really Worth To You?

BrintaPap

My gamecube games and the console itself were stolen by someone. It was my favo console and I have very nice memories about those games. Mario sports games, sunshine, zelda...

Then I started getting a physical collection on PS4. That got stolen again by the same person. (sounds unbelievable but with the gamecube, I was a child so I just thought I was being sloppy with my stuff.)

Now I moved out of the house and finnaly started to get myself a nice switch-games collection. Have bought some games that I won't even play now, I may make up my mind later however I still have very nice games with a story to them.

I now have bought a few stupid limited run games that I dont even wanna play but I wanted to first. Looking to sell them now.

@nessisonett chill out man, the girl may look like 12 but she is 10 billion years old ackually. Also just because she had a swimsuit to battle in and now it its gone, they opress the creator and his vision.

I cannot enjoy a game with 10 billion year old girls looking like 18 because they are dressed properly. They need their underw... I MEAN swimsuits to let people enjoy the game properly.

Re: Nintendo's President Explains Embarrassing Lack Of Financial Support For Smash Bros. eSports

BrintaPap

@Caryslan I am not really against Nintendo giving more mulah for esport but why would you want them to do that.

They could, yes could,(we do not have a way to know that but it is most likely) invest that money elsewhere like advertising or to develop games. You think Nintendo will profit from a few guys going to their tournaments. The meta and the kinda game Smash is makes it less popular than other games like LoL.

Re: Nintendo's President Explains "Embarrassing" Lack Of Financial Support For Smash Bros. eSports

BrintaPap

I think for one that it is great that Nintendo does not pump millions in this game’s esports.

It supports the vision of Sakurai and if player want more money from play tourneys they should start looking for other games.

Most of the other esports game have or more players or many in-game transactions that can “fund” the pool. It is all up to the company what they want to do.

Smash unlike other games do not get any frequent patches nor is made with esports in mind and not every popular game is meant for esports.
