Re: One Of Pokémon's Largest Fan Communities Bans Dynamaxing In Competitive Matches

BrintaPap

@KoekiieWoekiie Also some abilties are lifted when you Dynamax (Gorrilla Tactics and more,) and some moves like weight based moves won't have a good effect like Grass Knot and Body Press. You really have a good edge when you Dynamax/Gigantamax.
Also the low frequency of Gigantamax Pokemon, that are also version exclusive, with exclusive G-Max moves does not help this.

Re: Switch Recognised As One Of The "Most Important And Influential Gadgets" Of The Decade

@ItsOKToBeOK and Nintendo still does not have something like the Adaptive Xbox Controller. Also most Nintendo games do not allow you to change controls/ all controls which is a pity for disabled gamers.

Atleast Sony has a more wild variety of controllers/ and allows you to change controls system wide. However it is still not enough.

Sony and Nintendo both need something like the adaptive controller!

Re: Review: Mario & Sonic At The Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 - Great Multiplayer, But A Step Backwards For Solo Athletes

@scully1888 It is not a key point for a review hence the quote marks, however it is stated in most game reviews of any game how said game perfoms or looks. Screenshots do not really do (all) games justice because of the quality degrading what happens when you download or upload a video. Let alone in docked or handheld mode.

Since this is a relative big game for Sega and a Switch exclusive a simple short word about visual quality would be very nice to add to your review. Like framerate or resolution output.

Luigi's mansion got a whole paragraph devoted to it's graphics for instance.

However since not every reviewer needs to talk about like every aspect of every game and has his or her preference or writing reviews it is okay that you left it out.

Just my two cents & thanks for responding.

Re: Atlus Is Releasing Persona 5 Scramble In Japan Next February

BrintaPap

@GameOtaku Both have or had upcoming releases or has history with Nintendo.

Same with Joker.

And yeah it was almost obvious for many people that P5 S means that a Switch version was inbound. However Atlus has stated before that Persona 5 is PS exclusive. Kotaku’s Jason Schreier (good track record) has also said this. And yeah after all these years it still is like that. Hope for Switch only players/ who prefer to play heavy rpg’s on it that it will still come. However with Persona 4G as popular as that is chances are slim, even if Atlus know that they would be swimming in cash.

Re: Atlus Is Releasing Persona 5 Scramble In Japan Next February

@GameOtaku I still believe that it is Sakurai who has the final say. Like this: Nintendo gives him a list and he chooses who goes into Smash. I pretty much know what Sakurai knows what he is doing.

Snake is at this moment not even playable in other Switch games outside of Smash. I could argue that Joker “deserves” a spot on Ultimate’s roster just as much as Joker.

I have never played SMT but I did play Persona 5 and that game is a multi-million game seller and loaded with critical appraise. It can be ”weird” that he is in Ultimate but I think he is more popular then Jack Frost.

Fans/players of Ultimate make rules that characters need to be in a game on a Nintendo console. Well I can do it too and “ use” it against you/them with Joker, he appeared on 1 game on the 3ds and will be getting another more prominent role on the Switch now. Cloud had a cameo in some Final Fantasy spin offs. Now Final Fantasy 7 is on the Switch. So people can now say that it feels “right” that Cloud is in Smash. Remember his reveal in Smash 4?

We should all accept the fact that it does not really matter what character is from what publisher. First party or third party, spin-offs or not? Ever appeared on a Nintendo console? You can all be in Smash Ultimate.

I am not against you in this discussion, just wanted to say the reason why Joker is in Smash Ultimate. I get that you want a more recognizable character from the SMT/Persona series but I do not think Jack would have cut it or be more preferred as opposed to Joker.

As I said before it would be nice to have Persona 5 on Switch and it would be very nice to say that the game would be coming when they announced Joker. However they did not and since then people hate Joker for no good reason.

Re: Atlus Is Releasing Persona 5 Scramble In Japan Next February

BrintaPap

@GameOtaku I agree with you on that it would be nice to see the game ported to other platforms, having more options is always better and this does not affect the sales of Persona 5 but most likely increase them.

However I disgree with the second part of your comment. Sakurai made the game and it seems that he has the final say and not Nintendo itself. Also it is his work so why can't he say who is going to get in and who not? That is a really weird point to be honest.

Re: Pre-Purchase New Super Lucky's Tale On Switch eShop And Receive A Bonus Space Suit Costume

BrintaPap

@CurryPowderKeg79 I think, looking at previous ports of Microsofts games like Cuphead and Ori that this game will run flawless on the Switch. The studio that ported them did an excellent job and both games are Full HD docked and run at 60fps.

However the past does not mean the future will be the same. There also is really no good reason to pre-order this game anyway. But I do not think you will be burned if you did anyway.

Re: Atlus Is Releasing Persona 5 Scramble In Japan Next February

BrintaPap

@gloom Persona 5 Scramble will be on PS4 and Switch so no, it is not an exclusive.

Also whyo do you feel Joker is a wasted slot on Smash Ultimate. He is a great character from a great game (my opinion ofc) and I think he “deserved” his spot on the list, well maybe I’m baised, because I like him. Also Sakurai (no I do not worship him) was/ is a fan of the Persona series so it does seem THAT rare that Joker made it in Smash Ultimate.

Remember that Smash is a video game celebration with over hundreds of game franchises in it.

Maybe I am overthinking it but it is starting to annoy me that people call some characters in Smash as a stupid pick even after all the other 82+ characters.

Re: Fight Off Mutated Fruit Monsters In Juicy Realm, A Twin-Stick Shooter Coming To Switch

BrintaPap

I really wanted to play this because it looks great with the art style and looked fun play.
So I bought this on Steam because the devs took ages to release it on the Switch.

After I played it (note I got over 130 hours on Enter the Gungeon) I did not really like it, not so many enemies, easy and it really plays slow in my opinion. I have not played this a long time but maybe they made updates for it on Steam about it, idk. It all comes down to preference.

Wish the developers good luck though on releasing this on Switch. Unlike so many devs releasing shovelware on the eShop this one does not.

Re: Feature: Best Nintendo Switch Action-RPGs

BrintaPap

@Bosstoneman Even though I do not play many RPG’s it is really nice to have a Switch as a console/handheld/whatever that really can also be your only console (if you only want one but, also want good third party games as opposed to the earlier days where you were almost “forced” to buy a pc/xbox or ps for most third party games and a nintendo console for the first party games.

Re: CD Projekt Red "Probably" Won't Port Cyberpunk 2077 To Nintendo Switch

BrintaPap

@NotTelevision who’s to say?
I’d say the developers and the hardware the game will be on.

I understand people want this game on Switch, but this game is not the Witcher 3.

Trust me I want this and other fps-style games on Switch, I made topics about it on Reddit and tweeted several developers about ports for older fps games.

Re: CD Projekt Red "Probably" Won't Port Cyberpunk 2077 To Nintendo Switch

BrintaPap

@NotTelevision what do mean with run “well”, the devs also has said that The Outer Run is not that big of a game, only time will tell what they did with the Switch conversion of it.

Cyberpunk is pushing the twins at their limits (especially the base platforms) and is a way bigger, more beautiful, and heavier game.

People need to learn to accept that the Switch can not run every game or otherwise it will melt down or look really unplayable like the ‘playable’ DOOM on Switch that is always used as an excuse to say that everything can run on the Switch.
