I’m only my first world In and I have to say I’m finding parts in this game very frustrating, to the point I’m not enjoying it and I really wanted to, especially the part of turning into the paper plane mechanic, I’m not sure where I’m going wrong
@Kidfunkadelic83 Your local town sounds a lot like mine here in Kent. It must be widespread now in the UK. I used to love killing a few hours wondering around in HMV, Woolworths and Game.
@Deviant-Dork Id be happy to have a cup of tea and share my biscuits with Chris Pratt, I’m pretty sure he is a good person even if he does support a rather conservative religion, that doesn’t bother me, as a gay chap it doesn’t bother me in the least.
What does bother me is that there are some places in the world where people like me can be locked up and hurt or even worse, and it’s not in countries where it’s mostly Christian! Places where humans rights do not exist for LGB people and Women
I wish I could rate it. Was hoping to play the weekend gone. I ordered through Currys with the deal on here and yet to receive the game. Never doing that again with that company. Awful service
@Coalescence Horses for courses my friend, and I’d say that the references in the show aren’t always pointless, at times it touches on subjects that nobody would dare touch in any other cartoon or tv show, but it is a comedy, it’s not meant to be taken seriously, the beauty of the show is that it parodies everyone because nobody is perfect
I’m near the end of finishing Mameda no Bakeru which has been a wonderful surprise of a gem and I’m really enjoying Good-feel games so I’ll be happy to play Peach Showtime.
They will probably be used in a sequel I’d imagine
It is a great game indeed, but it just needed to push the envelope a bit further and the bosses and lack of was disappointing for a game that had no deadline
@MarioBrickLayer I believe there are two different teams for 3D and 2D Mario titles, the 3D team usually has additional assistance from 1-Up Studios
But this is the longest we have had to wait for a 3D Mario title since Odyssey, with the exception of Bowser’s Fury, but that was collaborated team with EAD and Nintendo NST
@shred5 Wouldn’t it not be too late to change hardwarechips at this stage if they are aiming for an early 2025 release? I can’t see it being for any technical reasons
@_fatto_katto_ I’d imagine Aonuma and the Zelda team are probably already busy working on the next big Zelda for Nintendo’s next system. That’s a good thing. Tears of the Kingdom didn’t need any DLC and it would have taken up more resources which will no doubt be needed for their next game which will probably take 6+ years to develop
@OldGamer999 I don’t think you can hurt switch sales, not with the behemoth sales of 139 million sold so far, it has been a monumental success for Nintendo. I’d say most people who wanted a switch probably have one now
Ive never known Nintendo to shadow drop a console reveal, in the least they usually tell the world that they plan to release a new system before it’s shown/ revealed, the Switch was first announced in March 2015, two years before it came out.
@nin10doom I don’t think we will get anymore strong titles for the switch now since we had most, with the exception of Metroid 4 and remakes I think all devisions at Nintendo are probably busy on the next system.
@HotGoomba I can’t see Nintendo having any (big gimmick) for their next system. I think they will just improve on what they already have, I suppose it’s too much of a risk for them now to make something so different. I can see it staying in handheld form, more powerful innards, better haptics perhaps? Improved sound improvement, maybe a camera perhaps
@darkswabber I’ve always known it to be merry Christmas, same with my parents and their parents and theirs, nobody I know uses the term “happy holidays” I’d say that’s more of an American term of greeting at Christmas
Its not a big deal though, what is a big deal is some of the vile people on here that seem to have taken aim for me because I simply expressed that’s there’s nothing wrong in just saying “Merry Christmas”
@UltimateOtaku91 You’re right, sorry I don’t mean to sound a Scrooge. I’m working all over Christmas and there’s no holiday, there’s no choice for me as I work in care. It’s hard at Christmas time
I’m a bit of a traditionalist I suppose that’s why I love the old type of just saying “Merry Christmas”
I’m thankful for your kind reply. That does mean a lot to me. Thank you.
@contractcooker No I’m not upset, but it would appear you are in regards to your nasty reply, do not wish me a happy holiday when you have no intention of good will, it’s false, you don’t wish me a happy holiday in the least.
We don’t call Hanukkah holiday, the same with Ramadan or Diwali
As this is a British site I’d like to keep the tradition of Christmas, maybe that’s a bit lost on you being that you’re from the states
It’s a good thing, the only thing that worries me a little going forward is if they continue with the shrine concept, I enjoyed them in both games but I’d worry that would become a little stagnant and too much the same.
I absolutely loved the journey towards the wind temple in ToTK, they should implement more on those ideas
@NintendoByNature I mean we could have Leonardo DiCaprio playing Link, supposedly Nintendo designed Link’s face based on a famous Hollywood actor at the time Ocarina of Time was in development. I always assumed it was him.
But honestly it’s good to see new faces in films and shows.
Completed the game. I enjoyed it a lot and it’s up there with the best of 2D Mario games but the game was lacking good bosses which is odd really considering the devs were given as much time as they needed to develop it and there’s nothing at all for beating the game.
@larryisaman You’re right actually, as it was so long ago now I wasn’t sure if I first heard about that either on here or with the Official Nintendo magazine back in the day. I must have been on this site for years before I joined. Might have been Gonintendo
@Grumblevolcano That wouldn’t cripple sales, not with Super Mario Wonder releasing, and most people have a switch now so I’d expect sales to be a lot lower this Christmas period regardless
@alexw It’s not known why he isn’t voicing Mario anymore, Charles had always maintained he would love to voice Mario until the day he died, my guess is that there has been some changes at Nintendo and that they wanted someone less known to voice Mario, Nintendo have offered him a lesser role as an ambassador which means he will still be busy traveling at special events and meeting fans.
@OrtadragoonX Has he actually said that? For a man that is going to travel the globe and greet thousands of fans and do his voices for fan service, I can’t see how is giving up voice acting in any capacity and age is just a number, he is still fantastic at doing voices
@OldManHermit I very agree, I’d love to see a Ganondorf with a much more humble beginnings, even a sorrowful Ganondorf. The typical just evil for evil sake just gets a bit bland and uninspiring, I mean once evil has corrupted the world what else is there to achieve when everyone is dead and the world is desolate?
@Serpenterror I can’t see there being a Super Mario Odyssey 2, I think the time has long since past for a sequel to that, it will be something completely new from the 3D Mario team, something groundbreaking for a system seller at the start of a new console release but definitely yes to the other big hitters for the next console, it’s on the cards now. I’d say late 2024
@RobynAlecksys He said it himself that he is not retired
If Charles is able to fly around the world and meet thousands of fans and talk in all those characters voices for hours on end then I’m more than certain that he is still great at doing voice acting in any capacity
They have retired him in a gentle way. Its bittersweet but this is Nintendo
@Spider-Kev Nintendo releasing a new console will have no hinderance on Mario Wonder selling less than expected, most people have a switch now, the games sell themselves, not the system. A 2D Mario game being released on the latter end of a consoles life is actually pretty clever, it will have phenomenal sales

Re: Gallery: The Legend Of Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom Is A Glorious Mix Of Old And New
I’m loving how they gave the title a Breath of the Wild type intro, Zelda looking onto the horizon as Link did.
I’m also hoping, there might be scenes (playable parts) with Link in the dark world or whatever place he has been enchanted to

Re: Review: South Park: Snow Day! (Switch) - Glitchy, Clunky Co-op That Should've Stayed Indoors
I had hoped South Park Rally would have been remade by now. The laughs I had playing that with my brothers back in 2000, great times
I will still give Snow Day a chance though
Re: Poll: So, Will You Be Getting Princess Peach: Showtime! For Switch?
@TotalHenshin Have you played it yet? I got it the other week, absolutely love it, I was worried with it being in Japanese but had no issues at all

Well I hope it’s not too early in 2025 as generally people tend to be rather skint just after the Christmas period so that would be a mistake

Re: Talking Point: Who Could Play Link, Zelda, Ganondorf In The Zelda Movie? - 25 Actors Who Could Fit The Bill
@Astral-Grain Here’s me thinking Street Fighter the movie was great back in the day but I was only 11😂
Re: Talking Point: So, Who Could Play Link, Zelda, Ganondorf In The Upcoming Zelda Movie?
@Astral-Grain Very good point.
I’ve never seen the Assassin's Creed movie, I’d probably give it a wide birth now even though I’d agree that Michael Fassbender is a very good actor
Re: Talking Point: So, Who Could Play Link, Zelda, Ganondorf In The Upcoming Zelda Movie?
I’d prefer actors unknown, let’s give some new talent a chance
