I actually wouldn’t mind a 3D Donkey Kong game with Mario. I think Odyssey gave us a hint this would eventually come with the Metro Kingdom, or maybe it was planned to have a modern Donkey Kong but it was scrapped for whatever reason, but I can see Mario being part of this supposed game. Still curious though to what happened to Isle Defino being removed from the Super Mario Odyssey poster before it was released which I assumed was going to be for dlc or a sequel.
I was excited to hear about the acquisition of Next Level and looking forward to what they have in development, I still think Luigi’s Mansion 3 had some of the nicest looking effects on the switch. Loved every minute of it.
@Duncanballs I dunno, Nintendo may surprise us all at e3. I’m pretty hopeful we will hear something about the next Mario kart this year. I thinks it’s been in development a long while. I’m hopeful anyway
@Duncanballs no rush to make it? I suspect it’s been in the works for sometime now, Nintendo are always preparing for the next instalment and I believe Mario Kart 9 will be more grand then it’s predecessor.
@nessisonett that maybe, I’m sure those small booklets were made from recycle paper. But let’s be honest, it was never about paper waste. They continued with their advertising pamphlets in the game cases after they removed the booklets, and what Nintendo might have achieved with taking away the paper, they have certainly made that up with plastic like that of amiibo which will eventually all end up in landfill.
@nessisonett Then along came Nintendo Labo. It was never about reducing paper waste. It was cost cutting on Nintendo’s part. Much like how apple have people believing not including chargers on their phones are better for the planet..
@Andymad I’m learning to thinking that maybe they are gearing the big hitters up for a more powerful system, but also still being able to play on the normal switch. A possibility maybe
If breath of the wild 2 should release in 2022 then I hope we have a completely new map or maybe a new setting. Given that it takes roughly five years to make a Zelda, I know they are using the same engine but for the time it could make breath of the wild 2, they could initially of started from scratch again on a whole new game. I also have a hunch that the trailer we saw for it back in 2019 might be very different from what we might get. And the possibility of it being cross platform for the next switch system, and I say the next switch system because I’m sure Nintendo will keep with that kind of set up now. Just my humble opinion though
@nessisonett To be honest, Nintendo themselves have gone very corporate since the massive success of the switch, technically I know they have to be, but the president is nothing like Iwata, then again he was a lovely man and a gamer to begin with. I get the feeling that Nintendo see themselves as apple in some ways. They have an arrogance about them. It sounds bad but I like Nintendo more when they are struggling.
Is that not the usual 3D Mario team that have made this?
I assumed it was using the same aesthetic‘s and graphics from 3D World as Mario has that same plastic shimmer look like the characters did from 3D World, you notice it more in the rain.
Not sure what the fuss is about in regards to people that want a Switch Pro or Super Switch, yet most people update their phones each year and have no problem spending over a grand after their contract is finished, It’s about having choices, which is always a great thing.
A switch that plays usual switch games and can handle more powerful games running on the system would be a great welcome. It’s coming up to four years since the switch release now so I’d imagine Nintendo will have something on the way, especially if the rumours are to be believed in regards that they have told devs to have their games 4K-ready, and by 4K I do not mean native 4K, but support in docked mode and not in portable.

Re: Nintendo's Ready For Acquisitions, When The Time Is Right
@Scrubicius good idea actually. I’m hoping the old fox hasn’t been retired yet.

Re: Zelda: Skyward Sword HD Hits Switch This July Alongside Themed Joy-Con
Good for those that never got to play this, but it really is the most linear Zelda. Not my favourite in the series but it has its own charm

Re: Unseen E3 2006 Demo Footage Showcases Early Gameplay For Super Mario Galaxy And More
There’s a few of these videos that have been on YouTube since that e3, a few people playing Galaxy and showed the missing star egg demo.
