There is something very special of every 3D Mario release on a new Nintendo system.

Mario really is Nintendo's magic box of experimentation and wonder. Ever since Mario 64 I’ve always wondered what they could think of next

I believe the next instalment is going to be pretty marvellous when it comes to us

This game is an absolute delight and addictive just going around smashing the layers up, I can’t get enough. My only negative is Hilltop, I found that place to be underwhelming, there were a few Kingdoms in Odyssey that I also found underwhelming also, Lost Kingdom and Cap Kingdom.

@GinMiguel To be fair, Mario is Nintendo’s bread and butter, he built the house, there has to be more Mario than any other title, he sells more systems than those titles

It’s heavily rumoured that this is a new team formed for Donkey Kong Bananza with some members from the 3D Mario team EPD8, I’d imagine Yoshiaki Koizumi is overseeing this project, I’d pretty certain the next 3D Mario has been in development for some years but Nintendo needs Donkey Kong to shine before they release Mario, I also believe it’s going to be an Open-world Mario title

I would like to see unknown actors, new talent, I’m sick of the obsession in the gaming community to having already well known and rich actors taking these parts. The obsession for Tom Holland playing Link was getting ridiculously cringe

The problem with Nintendo and having big gimmicks is that it can create a problem with games years later and now they can be played on newer systems. Trying to be different can have it’s own drawbacks

Nintendo knows it’s success is with handhelds

Ideally Donkey Kong Bananza should be a launch game with Mario Kart World, as fantastic as Mario Kart is, and how it appeals to so many millions, not everyone is into racing games and I believe a brand new adventure game is needed on launch day with it

He’s hoping to buy the GameCube controller which is only available through the Nintendo Store at the moment I think

@MischiefMaker I never got anything from Argos saying it was cancelled, only an email through PayPal saying Argos had refunded me even though I didn’t think they take anything until it’s shipped? So that’s why I checked my order with Argos and saw that it was cancelled when I clicked on my order

Got my invite and at first there was no option to pre-order any Switch 2 or Bundle at Nintendo Store and eventually I was able to.

Hopefully it won’t be cancelled like my Argos order was

There were rumours of a new team being put together at EPD to make a new Donkey Kong game, but nobody was sure if it was a new 2D game or 3D, I assume some members from the 3D Mario team are part of this game

The games look great but underwhelming there was no first party adventure game shown for launch day, was expecting the new 3D Mario game by now at least. I feel Mario Kart should be the Christmas game

@LadyCharlie One last thing I’d like to add to your comment in regards to supporting trans women and girls, young trans girls shouldn’t be a thing, not at least anyone under 18, because that in my eyes would be criminal abuse to a child, having transition surgery before adulthood is child cruelty

We are seeing more court cases now of adults that were transitioned as children who are now taking their parents and doctors to court.

@Polvasti Well the beautiful thing of a democracy is having differing views and opinions, it’s only when people try and silence others and have them cancelled that it becomes dangerous and that’s what’s happening now and some of the grotesque comments that have been made to women in regard to all this have been abhorrent and sickening, death threats and calling on violence from people in the trans community has been sickening.

I’ve heard rumours that apparently it’s going to have Smell-O-Vision, you place these fragranced cartridges in a slot similar to fragrant plug ins, they pump out lovely smells and stenches depending on the level or scene in a game.

It has been a long wait for another Donkey Kong, though I’m hoping for a 3D Donkey Kong game next, I think it’s gone as far as it could go with side scrolling games, considering some of the best Doneky Kong games came out in the 90’s, it needs to evolve, even if the game had 2D sections in a 3D setting.

So I’m assuming Echoes of Wisdom was this rumoured game?

@OldGamer999 Odyssey is 7 years old this October, but this has been the longest we have been without a 3D Mario game, even knowing about one, actually that’s got to be a record, being it’s the main series for Nintendo. Something huge must be coming for 3D Mario

I know others count Bowser’s Fury as a stopgap 3D Mario game but it was only a short game

I bought this game from Japan earlier in the year, a jolly good platform adventure game.

Highly recommend, some levels reminded me a little of Mario Odyssey, especially Bowsers Kingdom with one that stood out.
