Re: Furukawa's Defence Of Game-Key Cards Ain't All That Convincing

@fabiop You can have a main Switch system and one more Switch system to trade Virtual Game Cards between. You need to set it up in your account settings which one is the main device (likely your Switch 2), and then make sure the other Switch is Pass Enabled

However you have to stick to those two chosen consoles for at least a year, because the Pass Enabled console can only be changed once annually.

@blindsquirrel The in between areas are to give you a place to practice moves and riskier driving before a real ranked match happens again. Besides you can still vie to win the in between races too— stick it to the second place rival that’s constantly on your tail from the real races.

More importantly, the in between areas really serve Knockout mode and give the whole thing an Outrun feel, and, like that series, it helps to gradually blend in new environments as you near new biomes and vistas

@SillyG That’s kinda what Lightning Bolt already accomplishes. Everyone else’s game becomes less fun for several seconds.

@Dinglehopper You can still probably race those back to back in VS / Quick Play mode

@GinMiguel What? Goombas have been a mainstay of the series since Super Mario Bros., and you don’t think they deserve to be playable? How can you not love that little Oscar-the-Grouch face?

@Ulysses Yeah, I’d rather have localized damage to limbs and weak spots; like if you could use a cool down power to specifically aim your weapon or magic to stun or stagger or topple (and of course enemies can try to do this to you too), but they can also fake you out and make you miss. Let’s bring back Bushido Blade mechanics

@gsilver I guess the new inventory system will help you then.

@Jam777 I collect a ton of Amiibo too but I also own the third party (bootleg) Amiibo mini cards; that way I can enjoy scanning for items but leave the Amiibo in their display boxes.

@Wisestfool The SF6 figures are very detailed: take a look at the complexity of their worn ‘fabric’

@Scarmucci How did the Sages abilities suck? You could have them all active in your party, and one of them essentially gives you infinitely replaceable weapons.
