Right after the GCN lifespan finished, I made a conscious decision to not sell my Nintendo stuff anymore (for any reason!) because it either retains its value or increases substantially... which is great in principle, but I'm running out of space in my house now.

If it's any consolation though I still lament my lost N64 and extensive library, which I sold simply because I'm an idiot.

@Stnkygrngo ah man, that sucks. I'm lucky that my entire GCN collection is intact from when I bought it. You're right though, they're sat on a goldmine that needs busting out of mothballs.

@Grandiajet I was a beta user. I do recall something about having to diddle with permissions... it usually gives you a prompt in red at the top of the screen when you boot the game... something about the tracking being on constant as opposed to only when the app is launched.

@Grandiajet I had this (android user). Installing Google Fit fixed it (this logs and transfers your steps for you to Bloom)

@RupeeClock agreed on all counts. I love the Returns box set. The SE of Three Houses, Xenoblade 1, and Xenoblade 2 collectively take up a ridiculous amount of space. With this one now as well, I feel like I'll need to build another room soon.

Can confirm; does work. After watching this I did four of mine this morning. One of which was REALLY bad... but now they're all working like new, and the fix literally took minutes.

Admittedly mine are all outside of warranty, but if you want to get involved the fix certainly gets Ahab's vote.

I love the game, but the combination of apathy, depression and COVID related misery have also stopped me from being a daily visitor. I missed Halloween, Bonfire night, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years on there too.

We all have games like these. I've tried (and failed) to get into FF7. I own it on PS3, PS4, Switch, and I bought the remake. Ain't finished any of them. And it isn't for lack of trying (or funds).

Just looked like a well fed face hugger to me. Didn't necessarily have any sexual connotations personally.

Tis the game that keeps on giving. Happy camper over here.

2008. Wii Music at E3 <shudder...>

I'm normally someone who is happy to wait and see whats around the corner, but the complete radio silence from Nintendo over what's lined lined up for this year and afterwards is pretty annoying now. Tell us something, anything, for goodness sake.

I'm guessing Jesse Jacobs is affiliated with Adventure Time in some design capacity. Very pleasing to look at.

Much excite. I smashed this game on N64 over a weekend with a bestie, when I was a wee lad. It was also powered by THE BREAKNECK SPEEDS OF THE N64 4MB EXPANSION PAK. 8MB was never milked so hard...

@Ogbert Exactly what I thought. Perlman got a credit at the start and was expecting Mignola's name to pop up in some capacity through the whole thing... really surprised he's not involved given how heavy the aesthetics borrow from him.

Truly impressed. I've been a UK Nintendo fan since the 80s and I haven't seen a top 10 like this in I don't know how long. In the immortal words of Field of Dreams "if you build it, they will come..."

@Anguspuss Retro Gamers (the desginers) are great. I've kickstarted their N64 pad (which came on time) and my Dreamcast pad is on route as we speak. Point is, they're a really good company and this isn't their first rodeo. I'd be confident in their release estimation.
