Yeah good review and score. Finished the Tsubasa story and it was fun. Also, runs well in handheld.
Only problem for me - is that the "football" game is not something I would play just as a sports game. Once I am done playing the 2nd Story I know I'll be done with it
That is like paying $60 to play FIFA: The Journey. Makes more sense for me as a fun quick rental. But again, depends if you into the game part and not just here for the Anime.
So staying on PS4 like Cold Steel IV this October (also 6 months late)
Delays on Switch have a tendency to fall into the void. Would still be waiting around for Disco Elysium's "Soon"... like "Summer", is more of a range than a release date.
I'll get me "like zelda" fix with Genshin Impact. If not playing the real thing, might as well do it for Free.
SABLE has that exploring with "climb or glide anywhere" mechanic and uncovering an old civilization with puzzle ruins vibe. And love the Ligne Claire-inspired art style.
@TheFullAndy I guess EA slaps a logo on a box and people believe just about anything. Don't tell me, You also believe when EA tells you they have "surprise mechanics" π
@JimmySpades And buy what handheld exactly?... this is what a market dominated by Nintendo looks like π
It is like a WiiU. Played Paper Mario.. wait a bunch of months for Metroid or Bayo3 (or a 3rd party that actually matters comes out on time) Only difference from back during the WiiU days - is that most did not keep pretending the schedule was mostly awful outside a few Gems, and we acknowledged the need to buy another system to pass the time.
Like before, $29 on sale already. And now all those people get a FREE Next Gen Upgrade. But lets keep waiting for a $60 Switch port π
Sony released a PS4 PRO and there was no need to hold games from players for the launch. The theory that now New Switch games are waiting for a $399 pay wall is insane. Sony is not even doing this at year 7. Ps4 still getting tons of games on-time even with a PS5 launch.
@westman98 Anyone who thinks otherwise has an entire poster full of them. They have Indies all the way to next year announced. Can't be an issue for people to ask to see the same done with the type of games they want to play on Switch.
And I hear tons of times "AAA games sux" or "they do not matter". If that group start missing out on every Indie for months they will also get restless - same thing. We need both, it is what happens on every other system. Switch should be no different.
WB didnβt announce anything for the Switch Yesterday. PS5/XSX got 2 more new games, and not sold a single console.
No idea what Nintendo is waiting for. Zelda 2, Metroid... or anything that is not an old game or Some Indie that looks like someone made in their basement π

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (September 5th)
1. Captain Tsubasa (Switch)
2. CONTROL: AWE
3. WastLand 3
4. F12020 (F1 Italy Race weekend ππ)
Re: Even At Β£100, Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit Doesn't Come With A Game Card
People keep saying "no time to play at home" or "no extra cash" for only having a Switch.
But then somehow have - time & money - for random super expensive stuff, that you can only play at home π€·ββοΈ
Anyway, for $200 I can get Dirt5, an actual racetrack for the little ones, Flowers for the Mrs... and still have enough for Pizza and Disney+
Happy home π
Re: Immortals: Fenyx Rising Launches This December, According To Microsoft
Would be amazing if UBI saves the day on Switch. Keeping an eye on this one.
Re: Where To Pre-Order Super Mario 3D All-Stars On Nintendo Switch
@Mamabear Yeah, it showed up this morning on GameFly
Re: Warm Up Your Vocal Cords, Let's Sing 2021 Is Heading To Switch In November
I'll be playing Yakuyza Like a Dragon on that day.
Re: Review: Captain Tsubasa: Rise Of New Champions - Not Your Typical Football Game, But Fun All The Same
@JaxonH Yes. Versus.
Re: Where To Pre-Order Super Mario 3D All-Stars On Nintendo Switch
Wonder if GameFly will be able to get any copies.
Re: Where To Pre-Order Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit On Nintendo Switch
Cool idea, but "A Mere Human" NYC Apartment here - so this is a no GO
I could not even find enough space to not run into stuff playing ALYX VR π

Re: Rumour: Super Mario Remasters To Be Announced This Month, But Won't Launch On Mario's 35th
Crazy is if this is fake. You can dream up anything you want - but come up with "more old rehash are coming to Switch"
Re: Video: Genshin Impact Gets A New Story Trailer Ahead On September Multiformat Debut
Loved the Beta on PS4. The world looks fantastic.
But did my pre-register on PC. Frame rates were all over the place on my PS4. PC seemed like a safer bet for the long run.
Re: Grab Discounts On Bioshock, Borderlands And More In 2K's Switch eShop Sale
$40 for Bioshock or Xcom2 collection are not a deal. You are just being robbed a bit less.
Re: You Can Now Cancel Switch eShop Pre-Orders Up To One Week Before Release
Great. Finally Nintendo falls in line. Never made any sense not being able to cancel a pre-order.
Re: Cyberpunk RPG Gamedec Is Hacking Into Your Nintendo Switch
@Zeldafan79 I think it depends on the game. Isometric view works well on stuff like Wasteland 3.
But yeah. Hard to be excited for this when Cyberpunk 2077 is around the corner.
Re: Paper Mario: The Origami King Almost Had EXP After All
I enjoyed it. Didnβt really need it.
Come expecting a fun game that will make you laugh on your boring commute, and you wonβt be disappointed.

Re: UK Charts: Animal Crossing: New Horizons Stays On Top For Second Week In A Row
So combined sales for Captain Tsubasa did not even break the top 40. Was worth a try I guess. I have it next on GameFly (review, plz NL!)
What happened to the Β£45 JumpForce rehash on Switch? Oh yeah, also did not break the top 40. Shocking π
"There are four other Switch representatives in this week's chart"
Are we really still counting FIFA as being on Switch.
Re: Video: Another Look At The First DLC Expansion Coming To The Outer Worlds
Glad they are fixing it on Switch before trying to sell more DLC.
Played the base on PC Game Pass, it is fine - not sure I would come back to it for more.
Re: 8BitDo Reveals Its New Customisable Arcade Stick For Nintendo Switch, Pre-Orders Now Live
@TYRANACLES Mine is pretty awesome.
I have the SN30 Pro. Use it as my 2nd home controller for the Switch and as my away Controller for my Microsoft Surface GO.
Solid little guy.
Re: Rumour: New Monster Hunter For Switch Will Be Revealed Soon, According To Capcom Insider
Did not care for RE2 or RE3 on PC or PS4. So do not care if not on Switch.
A "NEW" Monster Hunter on Switch would be amazing. MH:World has given me tons of hrs of fun. Capcom is back in shape.
They needs to stop acting like the Switch is a dumping ground for old code, and put some effort. MH is a perfect place to start.
Re: Round Up: Gamescom 2020 - Here Are The Nintendo Switch Highlights
Lego Star Wars is on my list. Lego games are a good fit for the Switch.
The first Little Nightmares I found got more annoying than entertaining. Still not finished it, one of those games I only love it for the art.
As usual with the Switch - a pile of random "meh" stuff and 1 game you need to pin all your hopes on.

Re: Ubisoft Game Rating In Taiwan May Have Revealed God & Monsters' New Name
Oh god please. This would make my day If comes out soon on Switch.
They can call it whatever they want. Just give us a real launch date on Switch.
Re: Round Up: All The Nintendo Switch Titles From The Future Games Show - August 2020
More Indies. Switch is a 1 Pony show at this point.
Gollum presentation was made up of concept Stills and a woman talking - ends with "late 2021".... so 16 months from now.
Cris Tales is the only thing there I care about. But that we knew about for again now.
Re: Guide: Upcoming Nintendo Switch Games And Accessories For September And October 2020
Going from the PushSquare list to this just drives home why my Switch went back on the stand after Paper Mario.
Still no performance reviews for Captain Tsubasa on Switch.
Re: Jet Force Gemini Style Platform Shooter Tamarin Unlikely To Come To Switch Anytime Soon
What the PS4 under my TV is for. A PS4/PC Game skipping the Switch is nothing new.
Re: Review: Raji: An Ancient Epic - A Refreshing Experience That Leaves You Wanting More
Probably end up being dirt cheap on Steam soon after launch.
Not in a rush for this kind of stuff

Re: Nintendo Download: 27th August (Europe)
Wasteland 3 and Project Cars 3 are set for the weekend.
Still waiting on Captain Tsubasa Switch reviews. When I saw the image I thought this was the review
Re: Image & Form's New Game Is "Permanently Exclusive" To Xbox And Windows
Looks interesting. Would look nothing like that on Switch anyway after they downgrade the hell out of it.
PC Game Pass + Shadow PC = Problem solved.
Liked SteamWorld Quest. That is a more Switch friendly type game. Stick with stuff like that for Nintendo.
Re: Round Up: All The Games From The Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase - August 2020
And we need a rumored Switch PRO for this type of stuff?... $400 to play Just Dance @4k π€¦ββοΈ
Awful list - now even "showcasing" F2P World of Tanks Blitz!
If Captain Tsubasa is broken on Switch (like Fairy Tail was) it is basically going back to collecting dust.
Re: CD PROJEKT Takes On PokΓ©mon GO With The Witcher: Monster Slayer
As long as they do not delay Cyberpunk 2077 again, they can release as many Mobile nonsense as they want.
Re: Review: Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition - A Weak RPG Enlivened By Nostalgia
Now that we got another mediocre rehash old port out of the way.
News on the new Bravely Default please
Re: Rumour: New Switch Model Launching Early 2021 Alongside A Strong Game Lineup, According To Reports
@JimmySpades
Well, that is my point... what is the $399 for? To play Pikimin 3, Faeria, Xcom2 at 4K?
That is like getting an RTX-3080 to play Xenoblade Chronicle X on Dolphin and Banner of the Maid off Steam π
Announce all the big games "new hardware" will attract. Because "more power" is irrelevant for stuff like Carrion and Origami King.
Re: Party-Based RPG Battle Hunters Brings Fantasy Adventure To Switch This October
More Mobile $5 iOS ports.
This is what we need a new $399 Switch Pro for π
Re: Rumour: New Switch Model Launching Early 2021, According To Taiwanese Newspaper
Nope, not falling for this again.
If 3rd party actually start releasing new big games on a PRO I'll think about it. Announced, with dates... not publisher logos like in 2017.
$700 in hardware in under 4 years to end up with stuff like Carrion and SpiritFarer (or WiiU/PS3 ports) is not happening.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (August 22nd)
Nothing on Switch for me this week. Waiting for Captain Tsubasa.
Amazon US has Cold Steel 3 for $40 (It has all the DLC)
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08226KDRD/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Amazing game for that price. If looking for something.
Re: Review: Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time - Jack's Back In An Enjoyable, If Unoriginal, Slash 'Em Up
Already in the low 60s on average on reviews. Iβll play it on whatever it goes on sale first.
Re: New Details Revealed About Matchmaking In Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition
Unless $19, really does not matter either way.
Re: Pre-Order Pikmin 3 Deluxe From Nintendo's UK Store To Receive These Charming Extras
Seeing how a WiiU rehash should be about Β£19.99. You paying Β£30 for a plastic cup... brilliant.
All this does is make new games on my other systems even better deals π
Re: Nintendo Download: 20th August (North America)
Nothing for me. Tried Spiritfarer on PC game Pass, and not for me.
Just hoping Captain Tsubasa runs ok on Switch and not another Fairy Tail fiasco.
Re: Indie Puzzle-Platformer Evergate Surprise Drops On Switch Today
@JimmySpades Not sure where you see me saying to go pay $1,000 for a PC
Re: Accessory Maker NEXiLUX Launches Its 'Joy-Con Alternative' Controllers For Nintendo Switch
Interesting. I just broke my right joycon over the weekend.
Have my Split Pad Pro for on the GO but had the joycons as the home controller (for the little ones) so I need to replace them at some point.
Re: Roguelike Dungeon Crawler Hades Hacks 'N Slashes Its Way To Switch This Fall
It is a good game. But tons of people already played this.
Cross save is cool for anyone who never finished it on PC - This should be a trend.
Re: Indie Puzzle-Platformer Evergate Surprise Drops On Switch Today
Basically take Ori - Strip down the abilities and take out the boss fights.
Get Xcloud for 1 month. Spend 30 days playing the real thing "Ori: Will of the Wisp"
Better use of $14
Re: Poll: What Did You Think Of The August 2020 Nintendo Indie World Showcase?
More horrid Directs.
Thought they surprise with Wasteland 3 or Trouble Shooter. Disco Elysium is now in the Switch void with Doom Eternal
And why is Nintendo wasting time getting $25 indies like Raji as "time exclusives" π€¦ββοΈ
