"Mortal Kombat Krossplay will put PlayStation and Xbox players into the same matchmaking pool for Online modes... PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S will also be supported in conjunction with the Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate release on Nov. 17"
It is everyone in the same pool (in FAQ). Something must be preventing PC/Switch from joining.
@rjejr That picture made me laugh in the middle of a Zoom work call... π€£π π
I think we been that for a few years now... not sure they can laugh any harder at this point. If they can burn the PowerPlants and Cheetos factories last, that would be great. I really want to finish Miles Morales.
@rjejr I have, I think there could be a DLC I not played yet. Great game. And yeah 3hrs in W3 is chipping away (barely π)
Well hopefully the white supremacist dictatorship (or the Liberal anarchist Socialist State) will still let me play PS5/Miles Morales come next week π π
@JaxonH Yeah, same here. Back in 2019 I was one saying how streaming would never work. 10 months with Shadow and GeforceNOW changed my opinion completely.
Glad you think you can consolidate even your home PC. But I am not there yet. I have a 2560X1600 in the Office and a 4K TV... and on both screens streaming I find a worst experience than playing Native on my PCs.
"Ya, itβs only good for playing at home"
I also use it when away for the weekend at my Girls parent house. And in some Hotels and ACELA to Boston. It is hit and miss, but some have worked fine.
I am sure you will find other places outside your home that Streaming is a viable solution. At 720p it is very forgiving.
Anyway - Hope you enjoy Control. I loved it myself. The "headphone" level is AMAZING!!!!!!!!! (She will put hers on, that means go get yours π)
@SilentHunter382 You do not buy any games on GeforceNOW or Shadow. It is whatever you have in your PC Steam, UPlay or Epic Store library (you get games there)
If they ever close them down you have all your games and saves on your PC anyway.
I had SteamLink and RainWay out of my home, but when the Mrs Started working from home (covid) the quality went down hill. And I can not tell you how many times I had an issue with my PC and had to call home for someone to restart my PC. Now (after 9 months with it) I rather just use the service than go back to that.
Nvidia is giving 12 months Free if you get a 3070 or 3080. A Switch client would be amazing.
Played all the DLC on the GO or at a hotel when traveling - even had RayTracing. Streaming is 10X better than butchering a game to get it running on Switch (or not playing it at all)
This is good news. Put GeforceNOW and Shadow on Switch.
@JimmySpades Codemasters racing games are tons of fun so are hot wheel race tracks.... sounds like you need to broaden your ("fun") horizons. I guess this "We" you speak of still do not understand how comment sections work.
If I had this much time at home, I would just turn on my PC and play a game. $100 can get you a Hot Wheels racetrack "for the kids" and DIRT5 on PC easy.
Use the cash to bribe CodeMasters for a good Switch racing game I can play on the Bus.
Can not complain, I've gotten a few Free games at EGS this year. I bought the Amazon DLC for TROY Total war Saga because I was starting to feel guilty when I got the main game for Free π
@SwitchForce It is a handheld with a stand in the box. And for tons of people who have a LITE, it is not even that. As a home console the Switch can not compete. Why Nintendo did their own thing on the side.
StarWars Squadrons in VR on Friday is s childhood dream.
"progress" "innovation" call it whatever you want. If it becomes a WOW moment, I will remember for years to come. Gaming is where it needs to be. But an innovative way to provide an experience is not always tied to hardware.
Great little game, lots of fun on PC. Mobile has no controller support, so that was a instant delete.
At 4K/60fps on my home PC it looks (and plays) amazing.
Rather play this than the 100th Indie that looks (and plays) like it was made in a basement because of βinspirationβ from a game in the 80s. At least ZBOTW has some modern ideas.
Have a full squad just from playing the Story at this point. But gave them their $4.99 month thing just for the effort they put into the Art and music.

Re: MiHoYo Accused Of 'Carelessly Putting Players At Risk' In Genshin ο»ΏImpact Data Breach
There is no linked Mobile Number by default on PC or Console
Re: "Wide Variety" Of Third-Party Titles Planned For Switch Going Forward, Says Nintendo President
They said that back in 2017... they had a slide with logos also.
Still waiting.
Re: The First Review For Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity Is Now In
The Demo killed it for me.
Would love to know the story, but gameplay is just painfully repetitive.
Re: Poll: Which Will Be Your Second Console - PS5 Or Xbox Series X?
Switch + PS5
Already have a 3080. So no need for an Xbox.
Re: Japanese Charts: Animal Crossing Has To Settle For Second As FIFA 21 Tops The Table
@rjejr No anarchist outside my door and I have power. I think Looking good so far (No update on the Cheetos factories, they could be in flames)
The 12?... as you already noticed, my attention span is not that great. I already moved all my alerts to Black Friday deals.
Well they can always keep the dumpster fire going with all those MAGA hats π
One of the Mrs favorite bands.

Re: Review: Control: Ultimate Edition - A Highly Convincing Proof-Of-Concept For Cloud Gaming On Switch
Reason why I was playing AAA games on the GO with Shadow or GeforceNOW the last 9 months and not 6 year old ports and no name games on Switch.
Enjoy.

Re: The Company Behind Control's Cloud Version Is Bringing More "Major" Titles To Switch
Great news. This is the best solution for AAA games on Switch.
10X better than just getting a sea of 6 year old ports, butchered games or Nothing at all.
Just like some spend their time with RingFit, LABO, RaceTracks when at home... others can Stream a game or 2. You play something else when away.

Re: Review: Oceanhorn 2: Knights Of The Lost Realm - A Likeable But Ultimately Shallow Zelda Clone
It was "meh" on Apple Arcade it is "meh" on Switch. Different hardware was never going to make this game any better.
Genshin Impact is 100X better than this.
Re: Control: Ultimate Edition Is Available Now On Switch, But There's A Catch
@sanderev Yeah, I have the lowest level Shadow. It can't do RayTracing in Control or Metro Exodus. So ended up dropping the $5 for GeforceNOW Founder
I have a PC for 4K. So I only use streaming for on the GO.
But yeah, you cant do PC Game Pass on GeforceNOW. And publishers have pulled tons of games from the service. If only 1, Shadow is the way.
I am just trying all the streaming services before settling on one
Re: Control: Ultimate Edition Is Available Now On Switch, But There's A Catch
@SilentHunter382 yeah, Stadia is a trap. Not only are your games stuck there - but also all your saves, DLC and progression.
Stadia is awful.

Re: Nintendo Is Permanently Reducing The Price Of Switch Joy-Con
$40 is still insane... Got my Hori Split Pad PRO for $49 after my Drift issue. Never looked back.
Find I Use the back triggers more than motion control anyway. They will be perfect for Age of Calamity
Re: "Nintendo Isn't That Smart": Pachter Says Nintendo Should Scrap ο»ΏSwitch And 'Only Have Switch ο»ΏLite'
If they had a LITE back in March 2017, I would have gotten that and saved $100.
If have time to play on my TV, my PC/PS always wins out right now
They should expand cross save with PC like Witcher 3. Let people keep a true Home experience but still play on the GO with cloud saves
Re: Hands On: Immortals: Fenyx Rising Could Be The Switch Adventure You Need This Holiday
The Stadia Demo is 100% free and out now (free account/download). It has full controller support, try it out there.
It is a bit "meh" so far. Art style for the faces is not great.
Re: Video: Watch The Grand Opening Of Super Nintendo World's Mario CafΓ© And Store
Every holiday the nephews come from Spain I take them to the Nintendo Store on the way to see the Tree at Rockefeller Center.
They have a blast (and that is just a store) I can only imagine how much more fun this would be for them.
Re: Poll: Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit Is Out Today On Switch, Are You Getting It?
@WiltonRoots Little kiddies would have a 67 GT500 Hot Wheels and a Seasonal HESS Truck under the Christmas (Just like I did)
And still have enough left for my stick of Ram. Everyone happy π
But yeah, any Switch game that can only be played at home - is not really aimed at me.
Re: Poll: Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit Is Out Today On Switch, Are You Getting It?
$100 can get me 10 months of PC Game Pass, or 8 more Gigs of DDr4 3600, or a PS5 Pulse headset, or a 500 Gig 5,000MB/s NVMe
If to play at home, this is not winning the $100 hardware battle.
I have a bunch of Hot Wheels race tracks in the closet for when the little ones come over. More of a tradition in my fam.
Re: Japanese Charts: Animal Crossing Has To Settle For Second As FIFA 21 Tops The Table
@rjejr Remember you still also need a Season Pass for Pokemon... I mean "expansion" Pass π
Hopefully you still chipping away at Witcher 3
Re: Japanese Charts: Animal Crossing Has To Settle For Second As FIFA 21 Tops The Table
I need to start selling something people claim to "hate"... I can retire in a week π
Can't wait for the $100 money grab race track to hit #1.

Re: JRPG Cris Tales Has Been Delayed To 2021
Loved the Demo.
But this was going to get lost in November. Better to move it out of there anyway.
Re: Zelda-Esque Oceanhorn 2 Brings Its "Epic" Open-World Adventure To Switch This Month
Not worth it at $30.
Played it on Apple Arcade and it deserves the 66 Metacritic It got. Did not care to finish it.
Genshin Impact runs circles around this.
Re: Switch Predicted To Be Best-Selling Console This Holiday Season In The US
You cant find a $500 PS5 or XSX... You cant find a $700 RTX3080... Hell, even the $1400 3090s are gone.
The high end is sold out, not like anyone has an actual choice at this point.
The RTX 3070 will be the hottest gaming hardware nobody can buy this holiday.
Re: Review In Progress: Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit

Managed to get the CE.
Super excited for this. Capcom did a great job supporting MH:World. Hopefully this will be the same.
Re: UK Charts: FIFA 21 Goes Straight To Number One, But Only 2% Of Sales Were On Switch
The 2% that did not realize FIFA 21 is not on Switch.
Loving SW Squadrons with friends online.
Re: Review: FIFA 21 - EA Insults Switch Owners Yet Again With This Half-Baked Effort
Stop paying $60 for old Nintendo games already played 3 times and use the cash to buy an actual Home Console.
When publishers release crap on Switch you can play the better version elsewhere. Basically what the other 98% of sales did.
Re: Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair Celebrates Its First Birthday With A Tasty 60% Discount
@Antraxx777 Yeah I did not mean it that way. There is a good amount of game in there.
Re: Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair Celebrates Its First Birthday With A Tasty 60% Discount
@Agent069 Oh wow, I guess I missed it on EPIC.
Can not complain, I've gotten a few Free games at EGS this year. I bought the Amazon DLC for TROY Total war Saga because I was starting to feel guilty when I got the main game for Free π
Re: Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair Celebrates Its First Birthday With A Tasty 60% Discount
Cool little guy and game. I thought it fit the Switch well.
Re: Switch Pre-Orders Are Now Live For Cloudpunk, A Futuristic Open World Adventure
It is ok. Basically a stripped down Death Stranding.
It really needed different types of missions. Or some racing side quests. It gets super repetitive after a bit
Point A to Point B... read text. Repeat.
Re: Does Nintendo Have A Handheld Future Beyond The Switch? Yes, Say The Experts
@SwitchForce It is a handheld with a stand in the box. And for tons of people who have a LITE, it is not even that. As a home console the Switch can not compete. Why Nintendo did their own thing on the side.
Re: Does Nintendo Have A Handheld Future Beyond The Switch? Yes, Say The Experts
Sony abandoned the handheld market. Nintendo abandoned the home console market.
So yes, a maker can just carve a section of the market.
Re: Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity Pre-Order Bonuses Begin With Exclusive Guardian Keychain
Very cool.
But not my type of game, only slugging it out (on easy) for the Story. So a quick GameFly rental for me.
Re: John Wick Hex Brings Fast-Paced Strategy To Switch This December
Loved John Wick. Got it on EGS on day 1.
They should also bring Phoenix Point and Troubleshooter to Switch. It has been great times if you like these games.
Re: Video: 17 Exciting New Games Coming To Nintendo Switch In October
@JimmySpades It is to me... That is how I do not end up bored and $60 in the hole.
Re: Video: 17 Exciting New Games Coming To Nintendo Switch In October
That is one sad list. This is why I really can not just have a Switch.
Re: Guide: Upcoming Nintendo Switch Games And Accessories For October And November 2020
Basically Switch stays collecting dust till Age of Calamity.
Better things to play elsewhere for the cash.
Re: Talking Point: There's Never Been A Better Time For Gaming Consumers, Nor A Worse Time For Gaming Innovation

Re: Review: Vampire: The Masquerade - Shadows of New York - One For The Bookworms Out There
Have Bloodline 2 on Pre-order for PC. Just need that one to be good, these are an easy pass.
Re: Genshin Impact Dev Responds To Breath Of The Wild Clone Comments, Insists It's A "Very Different" Experience
Played the beta on PS4, and it has different play mechanics. It was lots of fun.
It did not run well at all on PS4, so have little faith for Switch version. Going PC on this one.
Funny, tons of Indies are basically clones of games from the 80s and nobody seems to care π
Anyway, Pre-Install is available on PC. It is 12GB if you want to get a head star.
Re: Random: Amazon's Luna Controller Sure Does Look Familiar
If it has Analog triggers it is a much better deal at $49
Waiting to see if I get my Invitation. Right now Shadow PC is the streaming service to beat for me.
See how this one works out.
Re: Nintendo Recruits Love Island's Laura Whitmore As Ring Fit Adventure Ambassador
I bet more people know what RingFit is, than who she is.
Never a good sign.
Re: Nintendo Is Getting Sued Yet Again Over Switch Joy-Con Drift
After I got my Hori Split Pad Pro I do not care about the awful Joycons.
Nintendo has fixed them twice since launch 2017. For 2 different issues - This cant be cost effective.
Leave them in the closet for if I ever trade-in my Switch.
