You need to give up on that. Get a PS5 (or a 3080) to play the big games coming (skipping a few $40/$60 ports on Switch pays for it)

Whenever something big (or Indie you want) finally makes it to Switch you play it. But you have a plan B. Make a "balance" of Indies and AAA by owning 2 hardware.

Or hope GeforceNOW, Shadow or Xcloud make it to Switch.

Played Horizon Zero Dawn at home and ZBOTW on the GO back in 2017 Switch launch. The idea that it could happen again with ZBOTW2/Forbidden West in the PS5 launch is Amazing!

Now the Switch is not even guaranteed to get the "new" rehash ports.

yep, Home consoles are not going to do anything to handheld sales.

Just like the Switch did not slow down Home Consoles or PC Graphics cards.

Cloud Punk and CyberPunk 2077 do not compete with each other. 2 Different gamers, looking for different experiences/hardware.

Basically Nintendo keeping the Switch relevant.

Animal Crossing and Paper Mario only new games that matter on Switch. Everything else, you need a 2nd system.

Not surprised about Paper Mario. Trashed by A vocal minority that did not even play it (same as TLOU2)... glad most gamers tune them out.

The game is from 2017, and the last DLC came out 16 months ago. Not sure why they would be ported in stages at this point. Not a secret it has tons of DLC.

Also, you need to be online to play. Doubt it is any different on Switch. I would check on that if an issue.

It was one of the Free games on the Epic store (and could include the full DLC pack for $24). Entertaining game.

I locked Cyberpunk 2077 for $43 digital on PC. That way I'll go Digital. I need a decent discount.

Love my Daemon X version. Larger grip so keeps my hamd from cramping up. And back buttons are great to have.

I use them 100% of the time on hand-held. Lets me keep the Joycons as a 2nd home controller for the littles ones when they visit.

Would be great if Cold Steel IV and Crash 4 also had their October release on Switch. Make it an option for everyone not picking up Pikmin 3.

Valk4 is worth a run. Shining at £11 also - it is better than tons of the ports or Indies out on Switch that cost more than that. Finished both.

@JimmySpades If someone is raving about something like GOT it would be logical they hoping for a big new experience on their handheld "2nd device" also. Not sure why you think their "preference in games" changes when they leave their homes. They are not playing rehashed old ports on their PS4/PC either!

If you been playing Animal crossing at home, you are set - great, good for you - write 200 comments on how great everything is. When that group is stuck in a Hotel in Boston for work (where everything is closed) they can play AC also. For the rest who been playing F12020, Nioh 2, TLOU2, GOT, Control at Home we are just sitting around wishing we were home (and now with another rehash on the horizon). And obvious Nintendo cant do 12 new AAA games a year, so then 3rd party cant release 7 months of rehash also.

@JimmySpades I am not joining in play hating a game because it is not coming to Switch... why I said "I'll check it out on PC Game Pass". You should reply to comments that people actually write.

Yeah only difference is that on PS2 you have Sony, Konami, Square Enix, 2K, Bandai Namco selling multi million copies of games

On the other you have... Nintendo.

Obvious by that list, nobody else is selling 10 million copies of anything on Switch, Let alone 17 million.

As long as AAA 3rd party games keep not being able to run on Switch. It basically stays same as it is now.

Looks like they copy the Xbox trapezoid layout for the buttons (The Switch makes a rectangle - thumbs are directly under the buttons). They also got rid of the iPhone home button cut out.

To me It looks more like what they been making for the past 5 years than a Switch controller.

Even when game designers think I should not have a choice on a single player game - That is what WeMod (PC) and Save Wizard (PS4) are for.

@JaxonH Or Crisis. I do not know. I can understand if Ryza or Dragon Quest have a few slow downs on Switch - but this? Windows are just flat gradients. NPCs are just standing still, they not even walking around town like in the Naruto trilogy - I do not remember that bogging down like this.

@JaxonH That is the battle screen. It is what looks best by far, because character models looks like where they spent most of their time on.

It takes two sec in town to notice all the cuts. And my point was not if it looked "good enough" for a handheld game - but that even with all the low settings looking stuff, it still does not run well. Not sure if resolution would even fix it, this is not pushing the Switch to the limits. Something is just broken.

It runs like crap on Switch. I mean that is with little AA, poor textures and water that is just a blue blob.

Seemed decent to me for what I played. But I have zero need to play a broken game.. This went back to GameFly in a flash. Would have been upset if actually payed $60 for this.

Fairy Tail runs awful on Switch. Decent RPG (if you like the Anime), but decided to return the rental. I'll play it on PC at some point once on sale.

Good Game. Been alternating this and Paper Mario on my commute. Fun if you like these types of games.

Also lets you manual save at any point (even in battles) if you set it in settings (or select "suspend" that saves at any point before closing the game out) So it is very on the GO friendly.

Fairy Tail had to have solid reviews to make it in July on my list. They are a bit all over the place (still get it on Switch, but as a rental later on) So nothing for me.

I have Origami king still. Probably break down and get Othercide on PC

Bought it - playing it. Not liking the battles (yep, they are not great) does not ruin the entire game for me. Still a pretty fun game as a whole, and laughed a bunch of times playing it. Always a good sign during a crap commute 👍

Meh, tried finishing this like 3 times over the years. Always end up playing something else after a few hrs. Not a very good Neptunia game.

A Racer for Switch on the homepage, so was ready for disappointment... that did not take long 🙄

If you do not want to play F12020 like a sim, just go into settings and change them. Tons of options to make it into the racer you want to play if just for Story mode or local play.
