@Residentsteven yeah definitely gonna wait for reviews for any Switch 2.. dropping $70-$80… gonna make me think twice before purchasing. Nintendo games better all be 90 or 100 scores if u want me to drop $$$$$$$$$

I think Nintendo has done a horrible job at showing off the mouse.. why not have Mario Maker 2 ready with mouse support or just put together a quick Mario paint 🎨 demo ? Instead, we got a game of disabled basketball playing robots on wheelchair??? 🤷‍♂️

@Baker1000 probably… if i end up getting a Switch 2 i will be paying for a chat app i will never use… C button is truly a disappointment i thought it would be something like Street Pass, Miiplaza or Miiverse.. or a console function like casting..

Wii U was peak Nintendo.. Switch 1 was alright Switch 2 is no longer Nintendo

@rjejr I’m still waiting for a home only Switch tv of the original Switch.. I have no idea why we never got a Switch tv only model.. honestly a switch tv would be perfect for my current situation.

Idk a smaller screen 7 inch display without 120fps would had been better.. keep the Switch more portable, better battery life and lower price point.

Ashame that they locked GameCube behind a whole new console.. so I’m guessing if Dreamcast get added to NSO it will probably be Switch 2 exclusive… lame

After watching gameplay.. hmm 🤔 not sure about this game..
The race tracks kinda seem kinda boring 🤷‍♂️ when compared to MK8. But it’s understandable since the tracks were design for open world & 24 players in mind.

@speedracer216 yeah the battery life on Switch 2 is really bad i heard it was only 2 hours

Currently i only have a Switch lite… was holding out on Switch 2 but now just thinking of getting an OLED Switch or PS5…. Funny enough PS5 with a free game is currently priced at $399..
maybe Switch OLED might go on sale couple weeks from now 🤷‍♂️

If Switch 2 is on the level of PS4 Sony & Microsoft did not raise prices until recently on PS5 and Xbox series $70 due to much higher development cost… PS4 era games were still $60…

Why the big jump in prices from Switch 1 too 2 >?

Nintendo took away Gold points from the eshop then raised prices from $60 too $80… they locked GameCube games behind Switch 2… Pro controller is a joke.. The physical games are just a key pass now.. the menu screen is just more of the same boring 🥱 remember the Miiplaza & Street Pass

@ManaOwls 10000% agree with you… it just feels like a Switch Pro not a 2… look at the new Pro Controller it’s literally the same design with an added C button… so boring like come on it’s a whole new generation have fun with the controller design 🤷‍♂️ C button was such a let down… so boring.. could we not had gotten a M button for Miiverse.. xD

nothing about the new DK game screamed that it can only run on Switch 2… pretty sure it could also be played on Switch 1…

I bought Switch day 1 but Switch 2 just is like a mix bag for me.
A lot of good additions like 120 FPS display, HDR, GameCube games… but idk something about this system just seems off.

Also on a side note am i the only one who thinks the system is too big? This is no longer a daily causal portable console… after you put a case on this thing it’s gonna take so much space.. Doesn’t seem practical to carry around on most days just leave it at home and only take it out on longer travels…

Not completely sold on Switch 2 yet..

So far not a fan of the size of Switch 2… it’s no longer a portable system… just imagine how much space this will take up in ur backpack or bag once you put a case around it…. It’s no longer ideal for casual portable gaming.. i kinda think Nintendo lost sight of what made the original Switch special its balance between home console & portable gaming. Switch 2 just tooooooo big.

Western society is no longer the center of attention.
I stopped buying western developed games many years ago due to the same reasons they told Nier Automata dev to ignore western nonsense.

Honestly I’m considering not preordering and waiting. I remember when the original Switch first came out many Switch had dead pixel problems.. maybe best to wait and have any problems or bugs iron out🤷‍♂️

@TheBigK would not recommend BestBuy app it’s super buggy, could be frustrating trying to put a pre-order in, especially when there’s a lot of traffic plus potential bugs slowing u down… just saying i tried using that app before it was a horrible experience that and the GameStop app also horrible.

Hopefully pre orders will be available directly at Nintendos site and block scalpers by using Nintendo account limit 1 console per Nintendo account.

I have always felt that a game like Tomodachi Life should be free pre installed on Switch or now Switch 2, as a Mii channel.. or UI for the system itself would be an interesting direction.

I’m surprised Nintendo never announced Switch TV just a Switch without portable gaming basically opposite of the Switch Lite. directly connects to tv no dock, no screen, no battery, no speakers
