It looks like a really fun game, but it's literally a reskinned Mario, every clip I see online it's either straight out of a Sunshine, a Galaxy or a Odyssey level.
Games like It Takes Two already showed platformers can be much more than just Mario clones, it's time to move on.
Can you keep playing and do/collect all the stuff that you missed at your own pace or does the game force you to see the credits and end the playthrough?
AAA gaming is finally dying, while Nintendo is releasing obscure low budget game like Another Code and Endless Ocean and they are THRIVING, hopefully everyone else will follow their lead
Deserved, you can literally make a competitive Pokémon in a matter of minutes in scarlet and violet, heck, you could get a full shiny competitive team in less than a day!
We didn't know anything about Metroid Dread, Bayonetta 3 and Xenoblade Chronicles 3 untill a couple of months before the game suddenly released, calm down y'all, we're fine.
I just started chapter 4, 20 hours in, as a long time Xeno fan I can already tell it's a masterpiece, the last chapter in a 13 years long masterclass in how to develop an rpg by Monolith and Nintendo, can't wait to see the end of this arc and what the future will bring us!
The entire Xenoblade series is Nintendo and Monolith very own 13 years long masterclass in how to develop an rpg, can't wait to see the end of this arc in a couple of hours!
As a competitive player I'm loving this event, I'm raking in so many exp candies and tera shards, they're gonna come in handy when building future teams
I might be on the unpopular side on this one, but I only care about having more clothes options, a better camera mode, the ability to share out trainer cards with friends and let strangers join raid battles while in an union room
Having just finished Fire Emblem Engage yesterday, I'm gonna go easy and play Splatoon 3 special salmon run (the all grizco weapons rotation is insanely fun) and Link's awakening DX on the gameboy app this weekend before starting a big game next week (probably Persona 5)
The gatekeeping perpetrated by fans and falcom itself is what's keeping the series so niche tbh
This will be my first Trails and I don't care what everyone is saying, I'm gonna play it like any other jrpg, unrevolved obscures plot points from 20yo games stuck on discontinued consoles won't stop me from enjoying it, I'll check a wiki or watch a walkthrough
It's my first Splatoon, I sunk 20 hours in over the weekend, the wonderfully crafted single player campaign ALONE is worth full price imo, I can't wait to dive in the multiplayer modes with my friends
Putting aside how in the world would you be able to put gamecube and wii u disks inside the switch, barely 4 million people bought twilight princess and wind waker hd on wii u, they would literally be brand new games for more than 100 million switch owners
@CielloArc Monolith soft (whose works I love) are for sure exceptionally good developers, but they have almost double the number of employees than gamefreak and they take (rightfully!) much more time to release their mainline titles (single player games which are a completely different beast than online multiplayer games btw).
Should Gamefreak follow the Monolith soft way and take them as an example? Probably, yeah.
Will TPC deadlines and greediness allow Gamefreak the time and money to do so? Never in a million years.
At one point in time, in the middle of a pandemic, gamefreak (which is composed of only 178 employees as of may 2022) was developing sword and shield dlc, legend arceus and scarlet and violet simultaneously.
Pokémon fans are always fast to call them bad and lazy developers, but I challenge any other studios to manage to do what they do while meeting such inhuman deadlines.
Stop blaming gamefreak, the real enemy here is TPC.
Considering the special edition and digital sales are not counted I expect Xenoblade Chronicles 3 to be close to 250k copies sold in three days, an amazing debut for an incredibly deserving masterpiece!

Re: Opinion: Steam Deck Fans Are Seriously Underestimating The Switch 2
Steam Deck didn't even sell 10 m units, at the end of the day it's just a very little vocal minority making noise online
Re: Surprise, Palworld Dev Isn't Fond Of The 'Pokémon With Guns' Description
The audacity of talking about Craftopia as if it weren't a blatant Breath Of The Wild clone as well ☠️
Re: Japanese Charts: Monster Hunter Wilds Gives The PS5 The Boost It Really Needs
Rise sold 1.3 M copies on switch in three days at launch, half of that number is a really impressive downgrade sales wise imo.
Re: Japanese Charts: Switch Dominates As PS5 Price Hike Kills Momentum
Astrobot sold less than half what Emio did at launch last week 🥶🥶🥶

Re: Rune Factory 6 And Spin-Off 'Project Dragon' Officially Unveiled
Tried to get into the series with Rune Factory 5 but I sold it back cause it was pretty much a mess, hopefully these two titles will do the trick!

Image if this ends up costing as much as a switch lmao

@Anti-Matter a nearly perfect game being even more optimized and supported one day before release looks like an extremely good sign to me
Re: Nintendo Teases How The ‘Gacha’ Mechanic Works In Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom
I don't get the clickbait comments, it's a LITERAL gacha mechanic, y'all are being misled by your own preconceptions

Re: Review: Bayonetta Origins: Cereza And The Lost Demon - A Placid Prequel For Platinum's Star
Giving a lower score to a spin-off 'cause it's different from the mainline games seems kinda unfair to be honest.
