It's been another interesting week in the Nintendo Life as we all head towards the Holiday season. We learned that you can pump iron in Animal Crossing, there was a welcome new look at Triangle Strategy, someone beat Pokémon Shining Pearl in 23 minutes, Qualcomm unveiled a developer portable that's a bit like a Switch, while Nintendo made the Switch even more stable and confirmed that Paper Mario is out soon on the N64 Switch Online Expansion Pack app.
Now, though, it's time to chill out and discuss our weekend gaming plans. A few members of the Nintendo Life team have done just that below, so feel free to give our entries a read and then join in with your own via our comment section. Enjoy!

I recently picked up Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order and have been enjoying the '90s-style story and button mashing; it's fun without necessarily being a particularly good game, if that makes sense. I'm also working through Batman - The Telltale Series, which has been solid so far.
Elsewhere I've been enjoying more of Forza Horizon 5, and I'll continue to still work my way through Mass Effect Legendary Edition.

A friend of mine told me that I needed to play a game called "Tux and Fanny". I trust this pal's taste, so I shall be doing exactly that this weekend. I know nothing about this game, other than the fact that it's about trying to re-inflate a football, and that it has a ton of secrets. Sounds intriguing, no?

Howdy everyone! As always I'll be playing the latest releases such as The House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return for Nintendo Wii. House of the Dead 2 is one of my all time favourite rail shooters and it's been far too long since I've given it a playthrough. I'm sure the upcoming Switch remake of the first game will be all kinds of "fine" but I can't see anything topping the campy fun of Dreamcast's best - especially with the accuracy of Wii remote pointing.
On the side I've been slowly digging my way through Danganronpa Decadance. I played the original back on PlayStation Vita and absolutely adored it, I just never found the time to try the sequels. Danganronpa 2 is very similar in terms of formula so it's nice to have a little lull between them but it feels good to be back in this world. Murder has never been so cosy.

Hey folks! This weekend, it's all about Danganronpa; I played the first two games on the Vita several years back, but stupidly sold the console shortly after (poor decision on my part). I later downloaded them on the PS4, but I've found the games are a lot more accessible and engaging on handheld devices. So I can't wait to dive back in!
Otherwise, I'm jumping into a few matches on Halo Infinite here and there. I've mostly stuck to my pledge to leave the game until the campaign launches, but I just can't seem to resist the odd one or two Big Team Battles!

This weekend at Shiryu Games:
Package from the Far East means I can finally enjoy a slice of Sega Saturn action on Switch with the Cotton Guardian Force Saturn Tribute trio. Ultra Age is also growing on me but I hope to find the time to go to court with The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles. Still hooked on Geometry Wars: Galaxies too! We really need this franchise on Switch...
Game of the week is Archvale. Never too late to release a GOTY candidate I guess.
As always, thanks for reading! Make sure to leave us a comment below with your weekend gaming plans!

I finally finished Shin Megami Tensei V earlier today so I need to decide what to play next considering my physical copy of Danganronpa Decadence could take a few weeks to arrive considering the time of year.
Started up A Monster’s Expedition while I decide and put an hour into that. Seems like it’ll be a chill puzzle game to play on the side.
Tempted to pick up Archvale and start that next considering it’s relatively cheap at full price. Looks like it’d be pretty fun.
Also been playing a bit of The Binding of Isaac: Repentance each day. It’s crazy how much content there is now so I’ll be at that for a fair while.
Switch: This is so random but I've started Fire Emblem Three Houses again (this will be my fifth playthrough). Feels good to be back! I needed something relaxing to balance out the stress of Metroid Dread.
Series S: Forza Horizon 5 and Halo Infinite online. I can't wait for the campaign to drop next week. I'll also try to squeeze in som Tales of Arise.
PS5: I'll be earning the platinum for Death Stranding DC this weekend. I only have a few story missions left 💪
Have a good weekend everybody!
One piece pirate warriors 3 (ps4/5) - played and platinumed this when it was new but decided to replay it.
Pokemon brilliant diamond (NS) - got 10 shiny buizel’s 3 days ago, really want shiny murkrow tho.
Scarlet nexus (XSX) - started playing this game, really fun. But on a break atm.
Have 3 games left this year until I fully beat 52 games which means 1 game weekly on average.
I’m going to try and finish the Blood and Wine DLC for the Witcher and then that will be it for that incredible game.
(Except for maybe the odd round of Gwent.)
A little bit of RE:Darkside Chronicles some Castlevania and hmz will try more Bayonetta still Oh and just to make my mind clear Crash for fun.
I played these games: 🤓
1. Skylanders Imaginators PS4
2. Paw Patrol Mighty Pups PS4
3. Mini Ninjas PS3
Super Mario Kart (SNES) - Been playing with the kids, so I anticipate more multiplayer this weekend.
Mahjong by Microsoft (Android) - Daily challenges and puzzle packs as usual.
Burn the Rope (Windows Phone) - Nearly at the end of this one now.
Going retro, with a bit of point blank 1, 2, & 3,
Time Crisis on PS and then bang on the Saturn for a bit of Virtua Cop 1&2.
As for tonight F-Zero GX……. Oh yes
Mario & Luigi Super Star Saga 3DS. Game’s amazing
@Splatmaster dope
Switch: SMT V & Animal Crossing
PC: Noih 2 & Planet Zoo
A Hat in Time. After all those years I finally got to play it and I'm loving it. Yes, on the Switch
More Xbox stuff, think I'm done with Infinite until the campaign's launch but will be returning back to MCC and Halo 5 as it seems those games' playerbases have been affected less by Infinite than I thought they would be. If I play on the Switch this weekend, I'll be continuing with Brilliant Diamond.
The Huntdown ‘Arcade Mode’ it’s addictive beyond belief
I might be able to start the Pokémon Platinum I have coming in the mail. Figure if I'm feeling nostalgic for gen 4 I might as well go for the best Sinnoh game available.
Fenyx Immortals, Paradise City and New Horizons.
Happy gaming everyone!
I'll be playing some more Pokemon Brilliant Diamond. Trying to get a Spiritomb before I head for Galactic HQ... it's a slog of a grind but I really want one for my team. It's been a good excuse to listen to some music and zone out though, so it's not all bad. Just two more NPCs to find and I'll be set!
Silent Hill and The Legend of Zelda are still both options as well. I'm also feeling kinda tempted to start up .hack//Infection to get ready for the GU remaster port.
SWITCH
Shin Megami Tensei V - still making my way through this! Great game so far!
Skyrim - Starting another stealth arc- I mean, a magic build!
PC
Death Stranding - continuing this masterpiece! Actually really loving the gameplay.
Garry's Mod/GTA 5 - A mix of both with friends tonight!
Have a good weekend everyone!
We finished 39 Days to Mars. I've got Grid to practice. But my daughter wants to continue Cuphead.
Mostly Switch stuff as usual - DerQ, Fuga, Portia, Xenoblade, Terraria, Starlink, Skyrim and whatever else elbows its way inbetween. Good odds of Endless Frontier and Etrian Odyssey on 3DS as well as Eternia, Blue Reflection and God Eater on Vita. Looking to migrate to a new (if also used) laptop next week, so cautious about what to play on my old one now lest I should have to find and back up the save files yet again afterwards (no, Steam cloud doesn't support everything), but I suppose the usual suspects like ESO, FFXIII and Just Cause 2 should be fine in this regard.
Super Animal Royale by myself and Smash with friends.
And when I get bored of both I go back to Xenoblade 2 and Dragon Quest 11.
Resident Evil...Two!
Yooka-Laylee and the impossible lair. Have a nice weekend folks 😊
I will be playing some more Shining Pearl this weekend. I am getting close to the end of the main story, so far I have really enjoyed these games.
I will also be playing some more of Astral Chain. I've been interested in this one for a while, but I just never got around to it. I finally picked it up last week when Gamestop had it on sale for $26. This game is just awesome!
Other than those, I might also dip into a bit of Forza Horizon 5 and Monster Hunter Rise
The new kemco release Ghost Synch.
@navonod18 I’m just glad I kept my old CRT tv for all the lovely goodness that is the light gun games.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons
WarioWare : Get It Together
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
Paper Mario : The Origami King
for this weekend
I'm finished half of the 3rd Chapter in Corpse Party. Beated 1st level in Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary World Tour. Beated CHAOS CODE -NEW SIGN OF CATASTROPHE- playing as Vein(his real name is Shin) and Cerberus on Ending A. On Chaos Coins I've bought mini-game Rui's Farm and beated 3 levels in it. Beated Wolf of the Battlefield(Senjō no Ōkami/Commando) two times in Capcom Arcade Stadium. And I'm beated Prologue in Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc. It's really cool, interesting, and very good looking game. As far, Makoto Naegi and Sayaka Maizono are my favorite characters in the game. That's all what I've played on this week.
Playing would require that I not work a 12+ hour day...so I hope that happens, so I can play something!
Probably Dark Souls 2 LOL
Sunday I will be starting a fencing class, so I'll "play" outside instead.
NINJA APPROVED
As usual, doing a back and forth between a JRPG and a more action-oriented title.
JRPG: Gotten back to Bravely Default 2. 95+ hrs in I’ve gotten the 1st “Bad Ending” and now learnt there is a 2nd “Bad Ending” to get before I can get the last job and attain the “Good / True Ending”.
Action: Started Doom Eternal. Was enjoying it until it crashed and couldn’t be bothered going back to see how much progress was lost. Its decent, but honestly I kinda prefer its predecessor in terms of setting and gameplay.
Games planning to return to: FFVII Remake, Nier Replicant, Monster Boy & Trails of the Sky II.
In Slay the Spire I managed to ascend with the Defect last week, so now I'm trying with the Ironclad. Only problem is, they are my least favorite character in STS and it's just not as much fun.
I'm continuing with Shin Megami Tensei V where I am currently stuck fighting a mad Irishman because why not.
Started Danmaku Unlimited 3 last week. Seems cool so far.
And at some point I'll need to find the time to pretend to be a grownup and rake the leaves and give the grass one more trim before winter hits.
Fight n Rage on Switch, great game
Finally finished Mad Max on my PS4, what a fun game, thoroughly enjoyed it.
Starting Resident Evil 2 Remake.
Pikmin bloom.
Mario kart tour
Blue Reflection 2nd Light. On chapter 9 atm.
Mostly Dicey Dungeons. I've finished 20 or so runs so far.
Tales of Arise is my main focus, about halfway through. Also doing bits on Shining Pearl and New Horizons.
Playing SMT Nocturne on hard (painfully on an extremely #&£# laptop), possibly some SSB brawl with my sister, meaning to get on with my shared maddening savefile in FE3H or BOTW's hardest difficulty.
Doom Eternal ancient gods DLC part 2. I took a break after part 1. Skyward Sword. I picked up Urban Flow on sale. It’s a good puzzle game for short sessions. I like the gameplay, something different.
I'll be playing a little of each of my recent shmup purchases...Gynoug, Eschatos, Space Moth and Star Hunter DX.
I'll be playing lots of Death's Door which I'm really enjoying. Well except for the unnecessarily long and unfair backtracking you need to do in the first dungeon every time you lose a life or start your save file.
And I'll be playing Rocket League like always.
Had a great time with deaths door can’t be bothered after the credits tho. Will play again one day. Did a few hours of axiom verge 2 last nite mmm very good tho had to turn the enemy damage way down and am lost but will go back in, otherwise feeling a ninja vibe so either Shinobi 3 or cyber shadow or katana zero xxxx
Continuing FFX. Got stuck in a grindy bit yesterday and started getting bored, but other than that I’ve been enjoying it. Also playing the Apple Arcade Layton game on my iPad which I kind of like but seems a bit slow paced for my liking. And putting up and decorating a Xmas tree!
I deleted my last comment and I'm reposting, in case anyone notices.
I beat Bioshock Infinite last week, which had a real head-trip of an ending. I'm now playing Death's Door, which has some real Hyperlight Drifter vibes. I like it.
I also picked up two more home arcade cabinets this week. Midway Legacy from Arcade 1up and the Neo Geo MVSX. I absolutely loves these machines. Especially the MVSX, which has awesome sound, beautiful form factor and 50 games.
I caved during the holiday sale last weekend and picked up GALAK-Z (this version blessedly free of in-app purchases!), Into the Breach, and Slay the Spire so I’ll play some of those along with more deaths in Spelunky and more gyroids in ACNH.
Really, I’m supposed to be playing my Halloween games like Dying Light, but forgive me, those sale prices were cheap!
Also, bought a LOZ Game & Watch on sale to bring to my family’s “Yankee Swap” Xmas gift exchange tomorrow. I think 1 or 2 cousins might be hip (geek) enough to appreciate! Way cooler than a gift card, if you ask me…
Have a fun weekend everyone!
@VIIIAxel maybe you can help me as I'm also trying to figure out how I get spiritomb, something about talking to trainers but I hardly even see any trainers in the underground and in online I can't talk to other people's characters
After my daily dose of Explosions
Its onto pokemon Brilliant diamond on Switch
Some Avengers and Back 4 Blood on xbox
And some more blue reflection second light and Kingdoms of Amalur on ps5
@MischiefMaker
Thank you for reminding me I have to put up the Xmas tree & lights today too!
I was rattling on and on about games, as usual! 😅
Can’t help but think of that parody version of the 12 Days of Christmas song: “When one goes out, they ALL go out!!!” and “If yer so smart, YOU put up the lights!!!”
I hope you have a stress-free tree experience this weekend! 😁🎄
I picked up Bravely Default 2 during the Black Friday sale, so I'll be putting time into that game. I also picked up Ultimate Alliance 3 on sale, I'm enjoying it so far. Not as good as the first, but still enjoyable.
This week I will be mostly playing
Star Fox Zero
Pokémon Black 2 / Dream Radar
I’ve a busy weekend ahead of me but looking forward to getting through some more of Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition in my spare time! Picked it up after thoroughly enjoying the sequel and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the 8 or so hours I’ve put into it so far.
Also more of the Pokemon Shining Pearl post-credits grindfest. I’m surprised how engrossed I am in this one - it may not be a particularly expansive remake, but when the original was so good, it makes sense that I’d be having a blast all over again.
Started a play through of Saint’s Row IV and boy am I loving this power fantasy. Absolutely over the top and ridiculous, and I love it. I’ll probably also start a play through of Cthulhu Saves Christmas. Happy gaming!
@HamatoYoshi thank you for reminding me to download the new arcade mode update.
This weekend I will be playing Huntdown. 😁
Switch - Metroid Dread
PS5 - Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, Resident Evil: Village
XSX - Picked Far Cry 6 during the Black Friday sale, and the odd Halo Infinite match in between.
PS5 - completed R&C: Drift Apart's Main Story, now picking side quests and items I missed
Switch - Created a new user in my Switch to do a new run of BOTW. Taking it slowly.
Metroid Dread, Duke Nukem, Toree and some Cruis’n Blast with the wife!
A little Tetris 99 and a lot of Halo Infinite. Started the OG Dragon Quest, but life is busy this time of the year
@UltimateOtaku91 It's a bit weird. First things first, put the keystone in the little stone tower south of Solaceon. Unlike the originals where you had to interact with other players to get Spiritomb, in the remakes, you need to talk to 32 unique NPCs in the Underground. When you walk around, you'll see NPCs standing around, one per "segment" of the Underground (the spaces between two dens). They're all random spawns, but they're heavily biased towards certain regions and segments. You need to talk to the ones with names, hikers won't count. I'd advise keeping track of who all you've spoken with already by writing the names down. Once you've talked to 32, go back to that tower and Spiritomb will come out.
I will say that trying to do this before postgame is a REALLY long grind that's kind of a slog since NPCs have heavy bias towards spawning in particular regions and you unlock more regions as you progress through the story. It's doable, but it'll take hours of grinding. I personally went to Hearthome City, dug to the Underground there, and stayed in that area. There should be a den south of where you start with two symmetrical paths leading to it. NPCs tend to spawn along those paths, so just run around it in a circle to find them. It took me a LONG time, so unless you're dead-set on using one for the main story, I'd say wait until postgame to make it way easier.
I have an 8 month old, and a full time job. I started playing assassins creed Valhalla, 3 weekends ago. I’m at 52 hours which seems to be maybe halfway, so I guess until my son goes to college I’ll be playing that.
More Animal Crossing and some Mario Golf. I’m definitely in the mood for some Sega Genesis games as well with Streets of Rage 2 and Sonic 2.
This weekend I won’t be playing anything … maybe. This morning I’m headed to Florida for vacation. I’ll be there for roughly two weeks. I’ve never been on a plane before, nor have I been to Florida. I’ll be visiting Hollywood Studios, Disney World, Magic Kingdom, and a ton of other places. This is going to be a much needed break from the tedious job I do - and a great way to decompress.
With all of that being said - I just finished Shin Megami Tensei V on my Switch and loved every minute of it. It moved Guardians of the Galaxy out of the way for my GOTY. I am bringing my Nintendo 3DS with me on vacation and might start SMT IV on the flight.
I’m back into games again after a few months of doing nothing but slobbing with graphic novels to relax. So, I’m now 6 hours into Skyward Sword and loving it, despite the controls tripping me up a bit (still), metroid dread, in short bursts, ace attorney, first time with that and I’m loving my second play though of Skyrim on 360. If I was rich I’d buy it again on switch but yeah, can’t quite justify it . Happy gaming weekend everyone!
I'm going to play some more Smash Bros. Ultimate as it's now on e of my favorite games. Besides that, I'll probably continue my 3D World + Bowsers Fury playthrough. On PC, more Halo Infinite!
Just finished Skyward Sword so I'll be starting up Death's Door!
After finishing Dread I began to work through my backlog starting with Effie. I finished that in just a few days and walked away a little meh, and perhaps uninspired. I've started Bug Fables, Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance and Skyward Sword HD. None of them have set my heart particularly aflame however. So we will see what I stick with this weekend
The post game in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond really opens everything up. I'm having a lot of fun. Besides that I will be playing Animal Crossing New Horizon same as always.
Have a good weekend everyone.
I was originally planning on starting to tackle my Switch backlog that I recently created from the Black Friday deals. However, in a very surprising twist I started playing on the N64 app Winback Covert Operations and I can't seem to put it down! This one flew under the radar back in the day (I bounced heavily between N64 & PS1 back then). I totally dig the old school janky gameplay and I'm having fun shooting badguys from cover (I'll admit though it makes a big difference being able to save anytime instead of dealing with checkpoints ). If I played this back when it released in 1999 I could totally see myself obsessing about it. Such innovation history with this game!
I'll be spending some of my relatively quiet weekend, before the holiday storm (coupled with a relative's wedding), playing Set Up New Phone. I've had my current one for over 3 1/2 years; between a depleting battery and other issues, it's time lol.
Otherwise, I'm working my way through the Isle of Armor DLC in Pokemon Shield and still plugging away at Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask. I really like the new content in the former, and I'm on Chapter 3 in the latter.
Have a great weekend! Happy gaming!
Mostly pokemon shining pearl. But im also playing links awakening on the g and w, and a little of wargroove. The difficulty really Ramps up in that game when you get to act II, so I had to lower the difficulty.
I finished Metroid Dread yesterday. What an amazing game it is! Definitely a Game of the year contender!
Right now I'm playing Tokyo Mirage Sessions. I very much like the game so far and feel it's kind of underrated tbh
I went a bit mad in the eshop sale. Bought Okami HD, Wolfenstein 2, Unravel 2 and Inside. Unravel is such a lovely game to play to unwind (lol) as it’s fairly low stress so far. Don’t know why I’m adding more games to my backlog though, still haven’t finished Skyward Sword or Metroid Dread… 😩
I've finished SMT V, so I've been replaying Shantae and the Seven Sirens, since I was curious how much the free update improved the core version of the game with its re-balanced items and harder bosses.
Gone back to restart Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna. It scratches the RPG itch while not taking up 80 hours of my life.
Last weekend, I finished my 3rd play through of Metroid Dread last weekends. This time I played it on hard mode in less than 4 hours and followed the speed run path and learned to do a bunch of glitches. It was a fun time.
I started Astral Chain which I had picked up a digital copy of for $27. This is my first Platinum game I’ve played. It took me a bit to get into to learn what I am supposed to be doing in the combat. I am playing on the standard difficulty which I have read is the way to experience it properly. I am currently just in file 3 (I think maybe at the end of it — the files are pretty long). I enjoy it while I am playing it, but it seems like the kind of thing I may have a hard time completing because I tend to be tempted to boot up some different game when I sit down with my switch in the evening. Maybe I can find a way to take breaks from it while not getting too into anything else that I lose what I’ve learned about how to play it. I am going to try to stick exclusively with it for a couple more play sessions to see if I can get fully into it.
Removed - inappropriate language
Going to continue my playthrough of Winback, that's a game I'd have played a lot when I was a kid, and I'm enjoying it now. And Doom Eternal, my Nightmare file.
I'm gonna continue my Miitopia Switch playthrough, which I have bwen putting off for far too long, I'm also gonna try to finish my playthrough of the Japanese version of Donkey Kong 64. That should've been over a few weeks ago.
Other than that, I'm still debating whether or not to get the Pac-Man 99 Deluxe Pack, right now it's 50% off and that's a price I'd pay if there's no physical version on the way.
Shin Megami Tensei V owns my soul. 50 hours in, it’s almost all I can think about, and am already considering a second play through on Hard (or Maniax if that’s a thing.)
Deus Ex on PC. I started playing games on PC this last year, but they’ve all been console ports I can play with a controller. I am trying to play “PC” games and learn KB+M controls. This was an awful choice but I always wanted to play it and hopefully the magic gets me.
@jon128 Keep at it and I promise you once you "get it" properly you'll have a hard time putting it down. Astral Chain was (and still is!) one of my all-time favorite Switch games. I'll admit though it didn't start out that way. The game may be considered a "hack & slash" however the developers want you to learn and use the complicated mechanics of the combat. There's so much to learn and do with the controls that I can easily understand if anyone has a complicated time. I strongly recommend to practice and view some YouTube videos to get a idea of all the endless things you can do. There is a lot of information buried in the options but unfortunately the game doesn't explain it enough. How to use your Legions and combos during combat can be endless and very bad@ss. For example mastering "hit rush" allows you to use 2 Legions at once so you're 3 vs 1 the enemy to death. The Beast Legion's "Howl" ability gives you a massive advantage. Like I said watch YouTube videos to get those examples. Once it "clicks" I believe you'll be hooked. It just takes a little time.
Well, I ascended the Ironclad in Slay the Spire. It was actually the easiest ascension so far. Ironclad's damage mounts up to ridiculous levels very fast.
So now I have ascended with all three base characters. I've put 210 hours into STS on this Switch, and I had about 75 hours on my OG Switch. This is absolutely one of my top five games on the Switch. I'm still wildly into it, but I think I want to send it on sabbatical and catch up on some other things.
@Vortexeo Truly one of my favourite villains of all time, just because of how crazy that character was. I didn't expect that kind of reasoning for committing those crimes and it was awesome.
Pokemon Brilliant Diamond - Trying to do almost everything on first playthrough so I've spent a long time but still have much more ro go. Been having fun.
Big Brain Academy - This may get tiring quickly, but it is weirdly satisfying and fun for now.
ACNH - I haven't gotten the DLC, but still having fun with 2.0 stuff.
Gonna chill out with the new Minecraft update, and some more Contra/ Castlevania
Congrats y’all…we made it to the weekend. This weekend I’ll be splitting my gaming time amongst some Monster Hunter Rise currently sitting at HR 72 and looking like Akuma!
Splatoon 2 will get some love ‘, and I’ll continue my play through of the Witcher 3, loving that game. It should fill my BOTW 2 void until 2022!
I’ll try and get back to Huntdown and try out the Arcade mode. Dope game!! Recently picked up Deaths Door so might give it a go!
My weekend gaming will be sprinkled in with some great food and high grade cuts of Pink Kush and some good old’ UK Cheese
Happy weekend to all!
Animal Crossing
Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold: I have played 1 Untold, but never beat it, so I am giving this a try, since I really enjoy Atlus RPGs (especially the SMT series). I am really liking the Story Mode on this quite a bit more than on the previous one, but can't wait to start Classic Mode. I think overall this is a series I could get into.
Finally 100% Metroid! No speed runs for me though, just not my thing. Fantastic game. I should really get back to New Super Lucky’s Tale, which I was enjoying before Dread arrived, & I hope to try Quake’s new updates. Another immense game. Oh, oh! Pikmin Bloom, I’m really enjoying it 😊
Just discovered Subnautica. I'm taking a deep dive (no pun intended) into this amazing looking game.
@Ganner
Thanks for the encouragement to stick with it! I am going to try. A couple of YouTube videos I watched about the early mechanics were definitely helpful. The training mode does help too, and in file 3 it does seem like I am needing to properly apply some things I learned. I didn’t feel like the first two files do a good job of introducing the mechanics at all.
I picked up Om Nom: Run as it was on sell, as it's a game to play with my oldest son. Outside of that, I'll also be preparing my island in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, for the upcoming festive season.
I played a bit of Christmas Nights on the Saturn to get into the December mindset.
Then I spent some time with Generation Zero on Xbox Series X. It's on Game Pass, and definitely worth a look.
For Switch, I'm mainly trying to finish the extra puzzles on Picxel Line DX.
I'll be playing
Tamagachi: R2-D2
Animal Crossing: New Horizons (Switch)
Paper Mario TTYD (Gamecube)
Tamagotchi Pix and Wonder Garden (wouldn’t have mentioned that I’m playing them but the commenter above mentioned their Tama gaming - how cool!)
And of course I’m loving my second play through of Disney Magical World 2, now on switch, as well as diving into the updated Wii clone of Big Brain Academy on switch. And when I can squeeze in the time for it I’m also playing Animal Crossing New Horizons/Happy Home Paradise! Great time for games!
I decided to break out the ol' MK8D a bit... Still good times. I finally got around to getting Torna: The Golden Country so I kicked that off-- Wow has my Xenoblade Chronicles 2 skills eroded LOL. I'll be dabbling in Boot Hill Heroes, Panzer Paladin, Alwa's Legacy, and Liberated as well.
@Teksetter Ha! Thanks, it was as stress free as I could expect I suppose, kids almost killed each other arguing about decorating it but that’s par for the course! Hope yours went well!
Great purchases by the way - I have sunk so many hours into slay the spire and into the breach over the last couple of years, and will definitely go back to them both again.
Luigis mansion 3
Banjo tooie
Cyberbshadow
Re 2 remake
Finally secured the Hachiroku route in Maitetsu. Still got 5 routes to go after I finish this so God knows when I'll actually finish it, lol. I think Skyrim would look like a speed run in comparison to these visual novels I've recently gotten into, lol.
Streets of Rage 4, just unlocked SoR3 Skate.
I’m playing Paper Mario tog again 😊
I made it to the national championships in Shadowverse: Champion's Battle finally! So I'll definitely finish that game this weekend. I also decided to go back to Fire Emblem: Three Houses for the first time in awhile, and continue my 2nd playthrough with the Golden Deers house. This game is still just as fun as ever. I can't wait for the eventual next Fire Emblem game on the Switch.
Finished Ori and the Blind Forest this weekend and intended to go back to the Final Fantasy pixel remake, but instead I fell hard into Fell Seal: Arbiter's Mark and it's been great
I'm also slowly working through Pokemon Brilliant Diamond, but that takes longer because my wife and I are doing side by side playthroughs (she has Shining Pearl), so we only play when we both have time
