@DarthNocturnal Yup. As much as i like amiibo, i likely wont get the dlc characters since they dont have custom movesets, which is how i set up my amiibos.

I don't have a problem with smash adding more content and characters, i'm not going to go on a rant and complain at all, but i really REALLY don't think shovel knight deserves a spot. ESPECIALLY if Wolf does not comeback.

@MikeW And this might be nintendos ace up the sleeve to get 3rd party teams back on their sides. The industry is begging for download only, its easier for them and more profitable.
i.e. a multi-platform game on ps4 vs NX will be more lucrative on NX just off how much money they would save/profit compared to every physical ps4 game.
If they can do that plus make it easy to port to their system, its certainly a win. Somehow though, it all sounds to good to be a decision nintendo would make.

@Daemonite They actually might because 1st going to save them money. The industry wants to move to digital only, the consumers are the ones not ready.

@SetupDisk Same. I really like this game, for sure a top 5 eshop game for me, and i would very much enjoy the expansion mode, but i certainly will not pay $40.

@Aneira you and me both. My least liked levels are the mall and moray towers. I do however like moray towers in rain maker mode (best mode ever!)

ahhhh yes! my 1st rpg, and possible still my favorite (very close tie with xenogears).
I hope they release this on virtual console, i can't get enough of this game, such good memories and music!

To me this makes sense. I'll likely try the F2P model, having never played fatal frame, and to be honest......I'm real chicken when it comes to suspense games.

I really enjoyed this on Ps 1, Actually did like the GBA version more, not sure why. I agree this is the best harvest moon game, but its a very tricky 3 way tie for me between hm64, this and HS on DS (which was a gba looking version of wonderful life).

man it kinda seems like nintendo is just gone without him. He's all I've seen since i was old enough to understand the business of nintendo, (I'm 27). Him, Miyamoto and reggie. I really can't imagine watching the next direct without his charm.

@Sample_Text It's very interesting, because the current select screen only has slots for 2 more additions, so if this "several" fits it's definition: more than two, but not many, then the select screen is going to get revamped.

Sounds good! splatoon has been intense fun for me, especially ranked battle.

I understand content is needed to promote this version over the console, but i really hope eventually all that content will make its way to the console, even if its much later.

A classic eshop version for $20-$40 would be just fine. But without marvelous, we'll have to see what they're really going to be.

Posing this as a solution: Should nintendo put their likeness and characters into 3rd party games, to drive 3rd party support similar to hyrule warriors?
i.e. let EA have access to nintendo characters and world for their sports games?
the next Need For Speed is a cross over of F-zero or things of this fashion?
Just an idea, what if the next nintendo system is just that a system with games always featuring nintendo in one way or another. Instead of going 3rd party, let the 3rd parties be Nintendo.
I think the issue is quality control though.
