From impressions, this seems to be exactly what i've wanted for a while. 100% battle with all gimmicks.

@Truegamer79 agree. Sometimes i would get a 2nd controller on tropical freeze and ditch DK on purpose for Dixie.

@RareFan Agreed. My only gripe is the soundtrack isn't as good as dkc2, but that's near impossible to top.

@DanijoEX-the-Pierrot Know it didn't matter much, but I always rocked the fusion suit. Still my fave to this day, wish it was a legit smash costume.

Naw, not 3D. A Kirby-Maker, yes. Lots of variety to be had there from Adventure, superstar, dreamland 3 and even 64, with plenty of abilities to add in.

@Kirbysonic The Trilogy was amazing, and I really enjoyed the anime as well! Would be nice to see more game-to-anime adoptions.

I prefer Legends to the main line games, had a lot of fun with the 1st, and considering X & Y is among my favorite mainline games, this is great!

@nukatha I really liked that feature. Disappointed also that it didn't extend to the tourney scene just to add variety.

Like many consoles before, they can certainly announce and release a new system this year, but continue to support switch for another 2 years as it fades away.

@Yosher Glad it wasn't just me, I too usually get hyped, but I was more confused at what I'm seeing. Either way, splatoon never gets old for me, gonna finish this season out strong!

@chapuH Agreed, I usually reserve judgement till I finish a game, but this is already looking like the best 2D mario game ever, and their approach to the online play I think is very innovative.

@KryptoniteKrunch The series selling less doesn't surprise me. For me, I actually don't enjoy the 16-bit fzero games on snes and gba, but Fzero X and GX I absolutely love, and I wonder if there's correlation of the sales to how I feel. A new game or remake at $40 or $60 is an automatic buy for me.

This is so tough for me, but I chose gamecube.

Animal Crossing, Smash Melee, Metroid prime 1 & 2, Sunshine, luigis mansion, wind waker, Fire emblem, FZERO GX, star fox adventures and assault, pikmin, pokemon colleseum and xd, double dash.

But Switch..man the line up is just as crazy, If i could get just 1 new addition of a Star fox, Fzero or Donkey kong it would be a no brainer.

Edit** honestly, i need to reconsider, because xenoblade chronicles 3 is not only my favorite rpg ever but a top 10 game period for me.

@MH4 same here. That pandemic made the burnout period arrive so much quicker than other games in the series. But it was a good time. If nintendo would allow randoms to visit your town, i would more than likely have stuck with playing more often.

This game is so cool, i love the attention like this.

@WallyWest agreed, he's really not worth the time, with all due respect, for the reason you pointed out.
Nintendo isn't crazy either, they know releasing a game like Metroid Prime 4 as a series is going to struggle considering the 1st game is from 2002 and the trilogy is over 10 years ago. whether they come individually or as a trilogy, it's certainly coming.

Sega is apparently having a hard time developing shenmue 3, i have no faith it'll end up on switch, so taking time to port 1 & 2 is pointless.

@BlueOcean same here. 16 tracks or more from the sonic universe and an all sonic cast would be great. Lets face it, Sega has abandoned most of the characters that were in the previous game with little to no intention of bringing them back, so there's no appeal to them being in future rosters. Don't get me wrong, Beat was my main in all-stars, but most people coming up today have no idea who he is.

Honestly fine with not hearing about pokemon or Smash bros just now although i do think a March/April smash release would be really good. For now, just dates for kirby, yoshi, fire emblem, a new game, some cool indies and the online price would be good. the juicy metroid, pokemon and more can be at E3.

The switch being portable and a console is what I wanted out of the wii-u, but now it's been perfected. The library has been great so far and is so promising in the future, heck even now i have some games waiting in my wishlist i want to play.
I have a 1 1/2 month old baby and i can tell you SWITCH has been a blessing, being able to play anywhere in the house that I may have to be at the time with him. I can only play my ps4 mostly when the wife is watching him. Switch has been 10/10 for me so far, and fire emblem warriors and the main game are going to be amazing!

Might be the Golden Era of Gaming technology, but certainly not the Golden Era of Gaming creativity, hence a game like Sonic mania, drawing from the true golden era is making such a splash right now. games like shovel knight, drawing on 8-bit marvel are winning awards. It's not to say that one day that era will be eclipsed, but i dont think the ps4, xbox1 or wiiu/switch have exceeded where gaming came from just yet.

I tried to get into Monster Hunter Tri on wii, and just couldn't, but based on the community and how popular it is, I really want to enjoy the series. I will give this one a try.

@Ralizah that's all i really care about, is a blend of the content from both games. i really liked the stages on the 3ds version.
