Hyrule Warriors Legends for the 3DS was leaked before E3, providing some pre-LA buzz but also blowing one of Nintendo's reveals. Confirmed to feature all Hyrule Warriors DLC and new content such as Tetra and the King of Hyrule, which will also be transferrable to the Wii U version, this seems like a clever way to expand the life of the game to the larger 3DS fanbase.

With the Tokyo Game Show set to feature the game next week, Famitsu magazine will be sharing details. Some information has been leaked from the magazine but, as it's a leak from a familiar source, we should treat it as likely true but not 100% certain.

The details will apparently confirm the unsurprising news that Toon Link will be playable, and that he'll be a fast and agile character. Story Content around The Wind Waker is also on the way in the Legend Mode though, weirdly, Toon Link won't be playable in this particular area; Tetra and the King of Hyrule likely will be. Helmaroc King is also to be involved, which is rightly being anticipated as a boss encounter in the story mode.

Of course, running around as Toon Link in challenges etc will be fun, and extra content from the 3DS version - hopefully all of it - will be transferrable to the Wii U title.

We expect the release of Famitsu magazine this week to confirm this fully, and the game will no doubt have a new trailer or two once Tokyo Game Show is underway. Based on comments from earlier in the year there will likely be more characters revealed ahead of the game's release next year.
