3 year switch launch anniversary

@KIRO it happens to me in the mine, when I break a wall, and when I reach a new high score in the arcade. It seems to happen when the game tries to autosave. Unfortunately, for me, it doesn't save successfully. Yeah, maybe a patch.

I've really enjoyed the Touryst but now that I'm nearing 100 percent the game is crashing constantly and it's very frustrating.
Update: version 1.1 fixed the problem! Enjoy everyone!

I think this will be their "available now" title. Despite other rumors.

There is a big difference between having characters in your own game like Cadence and making a game in the series like a Zelda 2 follow-up.

I understand thinking Pokémon may slip to 2020 but isn't the Pokémon company much better with timely releases than Nintendo? I don't follow Pokémon as much but I don't recall many major delays.

I agree with about half of the list. The DS should be higher. The Wii U should lower. I bought it day one and I enjoyed the games but the actual hardware wasn't leveraged well. Pikmin 3 and Nintendoland are the only games that really used the second screen in a fun way.

It's true. I felt they would be successful at the reveal because of the marketing. The name, logo, and sound all went together. Sound I think is the hardest but if you get people to match a sound to your product it's gold.

18 months post launch is a long time. I hope they do it well.

Wow, I have not been paying attention. I had no idea this was digital only. It's odd to have a collector's edition.

I was surprised there wasn't a more vocal backlash about New Donk City. I guess it's because the rest of the game looks solid. Vibrant, colorful worlds help mask any technical shortcomings. The city just doesn't look very good. Although, I'm very excited at the idea of Donkey Kong possibly being the main bad guy.

Not mind blowing but not terrible considering it should be the weaker of the two packs.

I find it hard to imagine a bundle before the first holiday season of the life cycle. It is selling without a bundle.

Is it being assumed that the USPS only decided to look for a missing package after negative press or actually known?
They deliver over 150 billion pieces of mail a year. A one week turn around for an international package missing doesn't seem outrageous to me.

I love old school bomberman. I used to play four player bomberman on SNES with the adapter and it was great. I was really excited to see this return to form. However , for it to be successful they should hit 39.99. Undercut 1-2 switch a bit which still seems steep at 50.

Is this bad? 90 million people interacted with their IP and I'm sure 30 million dollars is still a profit.

@SaKo that was my thought. I've used a VR headset with a Samsung phone which I'm sure is twice the resolution of what the switch will be and it is still pixelated.

I think most will see a portable which is why marketing may emphasis "home system" so as not to lose the duality.

At least physical games won't have to be installed....well, I'm guessing. That's how all my ps4 hard drive space is taken up. I'd probaby still need a bit more than 128gb but nintendo games are insanely small by comparison. What was mario kart 8...4GB?

I'm guessing this design has some game tie-in. When I first saw it I thought it was too reminiscent of a third party skin. It just seems an odd choice with no game.

Pikmin is possibly the only game that will make me sad to see wii-like controls gone. It is suited for pointer controls.

I thought all of the mobile games were already being developed internally by Nintendo.

From the way Link picks up the Sheikah Slate in the beginning sequence, it feels that it originally may have tied into the gamepad.

I've tried VR and I find it interesting but after 30 minutes I feel like I'm microwaving my eyeballs so I never felt like I would want it for games. If they find a way to mitigate that it could be compelling.

I think people are taking this a little too literal. I'm sure there is still a good chunk of story to this game but they want to emphasize the freedom the player will have.

Other rumors aside, September seems plausible. When they had the press reveal of Wii U pricing and what not it was in September. However, Wii U came out that November.

The conversations throughout the day were conspicuously empty in regards to the gamepad. They didn't seem to draw any attention to its implementation.

It wouldn't surprise me if they started this soon after wwhd the way they did with mm after oot on 3ds. Maybe they thought they would've released a new entry inbetween ...maybe not. Either way I would welcome some Zelda on Wii U where I can get it

Didn't Iwata say at the investor's meeting that the QOL platform would be revealed in 2014 and then released in in 2015?

They really should give a firm release date if they are going to have a direct dedicated to it. Altogether though, I am surprised they're doing this. The dedicated directs have typically been very close to the title's launch.

@ikki5: Thank you for reminding me why I don't like the internet. I'm entitled to feel or have any opinion I want. If you can't be respectful of that you shouldn't reply. I was expressing disappointment of not being able to partake. That does not make me "pathetic" or "greedy".

Some of these promotions kind of make me feel like I'm being punished for already owning a 3ds and games. Can we have a thank you for being a loyal Nintendo consumer promotion?

With eshop cards being 20% off at Best Buy plus the 10% ddp I'll be buying a few digital games but I won't go all digital.

Everyone is saying year of yoshi but with hyrule warriors and possibly the new zelda by before the end of next march it may be a zelda character. Though it would miss link between worlds.

I'd hold my breath on Pokemon. There has never been a virtual console release for any of them.
