I enjoy the streetpass games but they really need to up the daily play coin limit. Games outside of the plaza use them and most two at a time.

This game has potential to sell well if the reviews favor the Wii U version. If critics find the gamepad integration useless or the the framerate/graphics inferior to other consoles people will buy the ps360 versions.
Wii U really needs a multiplatform game to be considered best played on their console.

Summer is going by fast. I read July 18th and thought, "Oh, man another month?".

You forgot 60fps. I do agree, however. The game needs some added bonus. Link's Awakening DX included a new dungeon. A Link to the Past GBA included Four Swords Adventure. Ocarina of Time included a mirrored Master Quest and Boss Challenge mode.
I'm expecting something announced but as time passes I am more pessimistic.

The main problem with the second screen on a home console is many times you have to shift your head to look at the other screen while on a portable you just need to glance down a bit. It sounds small but it's a big difference.

@b23cdq: Very true haha. I'm just trying to make the point, though, that the name of a game isn't a strong argument for what the game should contain. Zelda is in the game. Many titles are of the enemy or other non playable characters.

It's called Metroid. You don't play as a Metroid.

Nintendo being a public company, it's not entirely up to him. He may he pushed out if the company continues to lose money.

And I do like how a gay man rescues a lesbian and vice-versa.

Female characters are fine but it worries me about Zelda. I can't see a Zelda title from the perspective of Zelda not being a lame spin-off. Maybe with the Tetra version of Zelda it would work out or a new character.

I think having the Wii Fit Trainer is kind of hilarious... guess I'm the minority.

I don't expect a price drop this holiday but I do think they will have very attractive bundle offers with the same 350 tag.

I don't really think these games are being delayed for more polish. It's so they can market the hell out of the system for the holiday.

I love Batman and will buy this on Wii U. I do think most 3rd party support will probably be indie games on eshop which is cool. However, I don't think major third parties will abandon the Wii U. Activision, Ubisoft, WB, and Disney. As long as sales pick up this Christmas they will put games on the system.

YES! I was thinking last night after Anouma visiting that they should have a way to buy pieces again at 3 coins like how you can hire old allies so I could finally finish some puzzles. This will help a lot.

I'm warming up to it now that i'm used to the idea. That and Nintendo always shows the least crazy intense creative levels in the first trailer.

Retro's DK is the best platformer I've played in years. They were rumoured to be working on two games. One old IP and one new. Maybe they had to decide between DK and Metroid for this one project.

Though, I'm with some of the people who have already played the title. I'd like some added content or at least a hard mode/master quest.

I'm sorry but this not at all what I wanted from a home console 3d Mario title.... I guess I'll go with Sonic.

I'm hoping they reveal the Retro project as that guarantees a surprise.

If Wii U wasn't profitable until a game sale, PS4 must be selling at a loss or, at the very least, for cost. I figured XBOX One would be more expensive with bundling a Kinect in every box.

All of their major franchises are due to make an apperance. I'm not sure what else they could do.

The only problem with Donkey Kong 64 is that many of the collectibles were required but didn't provide a satisfying reward for your efforts.

Wouldn't be surprised. Nintendo is too strict. They wouldn't want anything out that wasn't far enough in development. Honestly, I don't even know why people think this Best Buy thing is great. Four hour windows in a store? For a demo... They could just send it to our Wii U's and limit the play to 1.

I'm not surprised. This game is really being over-hyped.

I've utilized the feature in the Wii and the Wii U. This is MS justifying the lack of a feature by putting it down. Also, has anyone noticed, XBOX one is the exact same shape (obviously not size) as the Wii?

I was expecting it too. Activision went out of it's way to make COD games for Wii.. This game will be on PS360 so it's not a stretch at all.

@theadrock13 : Very true. Sony is the only one of the three that really NEEDS it's console to be successful. They lost the walkman to the ipod, their computer to take your pick, their tvs to Samsung and LG. They've had to sell major properties in NYC and Tokyo. The company just isn't doing too well. I hope they manage it because I'd pick them over MS/XBOX.

@Electricmastro : I understand these hurdles but at this point I feel it should be more streamlined. They're all valid reasons for it not being rapid but a full year not so much.

Does anyone with some tech experience know why it takes so long for these to release? I don't remember when they announced it but I think it was a year ago.

@SteveSnowmn : YES! It drves me nuts. So many people on this site do it. Collectively, Nintendo is a single group and it should be "Nintendo is" ... that and "Nintendo are" sounds terrible.

Ugh, this is so unprofessional and irresponsible. What if EA needs games on a Nintendo console in the future? They're ruining business relations.

Wow....One, there is a digital manual in the home menu ...I wish it was also in the VC menu but whatever because...Two, while you're there click the internet icon and look up a guide. The game will pop up as a search automatically.

I would be conservative with watch dogs as well. It's a new IP with an incredible amount of hype...scores less than 8.5 could have a huge impact on sales and is completely possible.

Maybe a Deus Ex release date too? Square-Enix got awfully quiet...

I don't think high end games have a future on mobile platforms. They're mostly terrible. While my phone is capable, it isnt what it's designed for...all virtual buttons - awful. Battery life plummets down to around an hour.. and all I can think is how much better it could be on a game console. Phones make sense for angry birds and balloon pop not dead space and battlefield.

I actually really like it. I was expecting an Xl with just a giant pokemon plastered on it. This is more of just a simple design. A bit retro - colors are kind of 70s
