Re: Nintendo States That Support for the 3DS Family of Systems Remains Strong

Personally I'm not ready to be done with the 3DS family. It's been probably my best handheld experience to date. Whether it's supported for another 1, 2, or even 3 years (though I'm thinking that's not likely), I will enjoy every minute of it (and will be playing that beautiful backlog beyond that).

If you've moved on to the Switch, that's fine. Let those of us still reveling in the 3DS/2DS goodness stay in our happy place for awhile longer (please).

Overall pretty happy with what was covered in the 3ds lineup. Was hoping for EOV and EOU III news by now. Though with Ever Oasis, Hey! Pikmin, FE Shadows of Valentia, FE Warriors, plus a few titles that are already out (but I haven't gotten around to purchasing yet), I won't be bored while I wait.

If my oldest kid were a little older, he'd play the heck out of this! He loves Halloween! He stills wears his Batman costume from last year (at least we're getting our money's worth).

Unless the Switch goes down in price, or they make a smaller, cheaper version, they need to keep the 3DS fam around. What parents are going to want to shell out $300 (more with games and accessories) for their kid to take on the go? Plus, I imagine parents would rather pay $40 or less per 3DS game, as opposed to $50-$60 per Switch game. The 3DS family is more "family friendly" in my mind.

I'm hoping for at least another year or two. Lots of games I'm looking forward to this year. Hoping to hear about a few more soon (like EOU III and EOV). Plus I'm really hoping they cut the N3DS (XL) price this year, though I'll probably upgrade regardless to play Fire Emblem Warriors.
