Nintendo today announced Ever Oasis, developed by Grezzo, best known for The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes as well as some high-profile remakes is releasing on 23rd June. The game was first revealed at E3 2016, though Nintendo has been typically silent on the game since then.
Few revelations about the new IP came from today's direct, but we're cautiously optimistic about it nonetheless. It reminds us a bit of Fantasy Life, and that's a good thing. Are you interested in this relatively unknown new title? Tell us what you think in the comments.

I am so excited for this game, I've been hyped since its announcement! It kind of reminds me of Fantasy Life (which is a game that I absolutely adore).
This is one of the only 3DS games coming out that I'm interested in. It looks like a blend of Monster Hunter and Animal Crossing, two of my favorite 3DS franchises. I just wish it was also coming to the Switch. The game does look really fun... I just don't know if I'll want to stop playing my Switch!
I want this but at the same time I really don't want to squint at a 3ds to play an RPG. Switch has ruined me.

@Ryu_Niiyama @wiggleronacid im so with you guys on that sentiment. This was the best game in the direct, and i love 3ds....and i love the 3d (sorry ryu!) But ....switch hardware had me hooked.....very torn on this.
Otoh most of the switch games are small or online oriented and 3ds had all the big games. Well until fall anyway. Makes EO look much more tempting along with mh stories.
@NEStalgia I'm going to shell out the 700 to put a TV out on one of my 3ds systems ...not right now though. Too much stuff to buy normally. LOL yeah the 3d is evil. boo, hiss... I always end up like:

I've been quite interested in this game since it was first announced. I'm really looking forward to playing it. The character designs are great.

Can't wait for this. I don't foresee a Switch in my future anytime soon plus I play more on my 3DS than both the Wii U and PS4 that we have. I've had this game preordered since the day it was announced.
Y'all always choose the weirdest credits for developers. I feel like Grezzo is far better known for their Ocarina & Majora’s Mask remakes (which most people like) than Triforce Heroes (which most people don't like). You did this with IntiCreates & Blaster Master Zero, citing Mighty Number 9 instead of Mega Man 9, Azure Striker Gunvolt, and Mega Man Zero.
Glad to know we got a release date as I was interested in this game since I learned about it at e3 last year.
@vincentgoodwin I know right!? I thought it was weird to credit IntiCreates wth one of the weaker games that they worked on. Like you said, Megaman 9, 10, Azure Striker Gunvolt 1 & 2, Megaman Zero series are all better games that come far more easily to mind.
I'll agree w a few of you that the Switch screen size makes the XL seem a bit small (6.2 vs 4.88?) once you go back to it. Any smaller would not be cool, but it's decent. If I didn't have so many retail and indie games directly onboard, it could be suffering the same fate of my original DS games (storage). I do take them out to look at now and then, but that's probably a video game crime when I think of the content there. Well, I'll always have the memories haha.
And ya...I've been watching this for awhile. I finally have a chance to watch the direct in a few minutes, and I'm thinking it's the only game on my radar that'll be covered.
I'll probably wait for reviews before I buy, but so far I really like what I see - it reminds me a lot of Fantasy Life, which I absolutely adored and sank over 200 hours into.
With this and Monster Hunter Stories coming out, my 3DS is still going to get a lot of use.
I am really looking forward to this one. IF the reviews are good it will be a day one purchase.

Amazon just says 'unavailable' re: digital download. Nothing about physical copy. Perhaps they are regretting offering discounts.
I lost confidence in them after the mini fiasco with Story of Seasons: 3oT.
